"Boss, Mr Quin wants to speak with you" I heard Ben's voice and I raised my brows.

I don't really understand this Mr Quin. At first, he sometimes acts like my enemy. I know I have many enemies and I always think he is among them but what I'm seeing is different. He even brought Skylar to work for me.

"Is it about his project? I don't really trust him" I said.

"Why Boss? He brought Miss Skylar and even ready to work with us means he had changed his way with us" He said and I scoffed, just like that?

"Here sir" He placed the call by my ear and Mr Quin spoke up immediately.

"Yeah, I will love it if we work together," I replied.

"We can meet tomorrow to discuss it,"I told him.

" Yeah, My pleasure to work with you" I said and he hung up.

"Organize my meeting with him tomorrow," I told Ben.

"Okay Boss" He replied and I sighed.

"I need to see John, it's been a long time since he updated me about the investigation" I said and dialed the landline.

Shortly, Miss Skylar entered and It's funny I already know her scents.

"Sir, you called for me" She said politely.

"Yes, I need to do audio type this for me, I won't be coming back to the office today again, so you finish that up and submit tomorrow, is that clear? " I asked.

"Yes sir, Perfectly clear sir" She answered with a loud funny voice and I chuckled softly.

"Okay you can go" I said and she walked out.

"Sir shall we go? " He asked and I nodded.

"I said My mother might be alive, we can't find her corpse" I argued with John and I heard him sighed.

"We can't be sure sir But what happened that day, No one knows what might have happened, You said no one was with her that day," He said and I breathed out.

I want Justice for my mom, she can't die just like that. We can't even find the corpse and you are telling me she is dead, I can never believe she is dead.

Vincent walked into the house with a long face and Ma'am Gina noticed this.

She looked at Ben with a raised brow.

"What's wrong with him?" She whispered and Ben shrugged.

Obviously, Vincent is sad about the news about his mother. Anytime he hears about it, he will always have a sadden of heart.

He still wishes his mother was with him.

He walked into the bedroom, Dropped his white cane beside his king size bed. He traced his way to the window. He opened the curtains and breathed out.

He scoffed thinking how being blind is really affecting him, he wanted to see too, see Ma'am Gina, Ben, Amelia, these are those special people to him and he badly wanted to see them.

SKYLAR

I alighted from the cab and I was surprised when someone threw her tiny arms around me.

"Little pumpkin" I chuckled and she giggled, hugging me tightly.

"You might remove my neck with this" I chuckled and she pulled away smiling.

"Let me see your pretty face again" I pulled her cheeks and she chuckled.

"Come on, Let's go inside, Anita already cooked dinner" She giggled and we walked inside.

"Miss billionaire is back" I heard Anita's voice from the kitchen. Bad girl!

"Bad girl, Hmmm I'm so famished" I yawned loudly and Annia chuckled.

"I can't wait to eat also" Annie said loudly and we chuckled.

"Annie baby, I cooked especially for you" Anita said and I scoffed.

"And me? Not specially for me? " I pouted while she laughed.

"Come on, My baby just got discharged" She said and I pouted.

I walked into the room and pulled off my clothes. I brought out My Boss Handkerchief and that made me chuckle. The way he held my hands, looked worried, is he always like that? Got a way of moving a girl's heart, but unfortunately, I'm there to tame his heart instead.

"Sister" I heard Annie's voice and I turned to her. I thought she was asleep.

"You are not sleeping? " She asked and I chuckled softly.

"I will" I replied, I placed the handkerchief on my bag then climbed the bed to cuddle her.

NEXT MORNING

I walked into the company smiling. It's a beautiful morning.

"Good morning Sweetheart" I turned to see Evenlyn just arriving also.

"Hi Eve, You look extraordinarily beautiful today" I said and she chuckled.

"Really? I'm blushing" She said and I chuckled. We both walked to our various offices.

"Miss Skylar" I bumped into Mr Ben on my way to the office.

"Goodmorning" I greeted and he nodded.

"Yeah, We have a meeting to attend by 2pm today so you will be the one to follow him because I'm so busy" He said and I nodded.

"No problem, I will do that," I replied.

We both walked into Mr Quin's company. I can remember Daniel brought me here when all this was about to start.

A young girl walked up to us as we entered.

"Welcome sir, he is waiting for you" She said and led the way to her Boss office.

She knocked on it and we heard a faint "come in"

He looked up to see Mr Vincent,

"Welcome, Mr Vincent, so glad to have you in my company," he said and we both walked into his office.

They started talking about business and Damn! Mr Vincent was sure to be an intelligent man despite being blind.

" I would have shown you the hall we are still renovating for organizing the meeting" Mr Quin said and My boss nodded.

" Take me to the place" He said and Mr Quin looked at me. Seems he knew all about Mrs Abigail's plans too.

"Okay no Problem" He answered and they stood up while I followed, making sure I stuck to his side.

We got to a particular hall, it's so obvious they are yet to finish the construction, it looks so beautiful.

"If only you could see it, it'.... " Mr Vincent cut him and he smiled.

"I can feel its beauty" He said and that amazed me while Mr Quin chuckled,

"Yes, that is good '' He replied and uninterruptedly, his phone rang and he picked it up.

"Feel free to check it more Mr Vincent, I need to take this please" He said and walked out picking the call.

"Miss Skylar" My boss suddenly called.

"What do you think about this hall? " He asked and I opened my mouth looking around the hall.

"It's beautiful sir, so beautiful" I said and he nodded. He held his white cane turning around.

"Okay, let's go" He said and I nodded.

Suddenly, the light and bulbs started flicking. What the heck?

"Si… Sir I don't understand, what is going on? " I shuttered.

"Miss Skylar, what is it? " He asked and I gulped.

The light went off In a blink of an eye. I'm scared of the dark.
