Rinnegan twilight

The last thing I remember was walking from a comic con convention in New York. I saw a boy in the middle of the road. Then, I saw a truck speeding towards a boy. My body just suddenly moved on its own and pushed the boy out of the way. Then complete darkness.

"Mmm, I'm dead then…"

Suddenly, a deep voice came out of nowhere. 

"You are correct, young man!"

" Who's there!?"

Looked around in the darkness, then suddenly get pulled into a white room, and there is a dark, faceless figure in front of me sitting in front of a desk.

" Hello there." The figure waved at me.

"Would you please sit down, and we can talk."

As I pull the chair to sit down.

"Are you God or the Devil?"

The figure smiled.

I am neither. I am more of a clerk, helping to send souls to Heaven, Hell, or Rebirth. You can just call me the middleman or the clerk. Now, let's look into your file. Your name is Anthony Wilson. Age: 17, single, no girlfriend, no real-life friends, and still a virgin. Is this correct?"

A completely red-faced, I shake my head yes.

"Mmm, you are a little above average to go to heaven, but since you died in the usual hit-by-a-truck cliché, I can let you be reborn in a different world. Would you like that?"

I jumped up excitedly, saying to Anthony, "Definitely, yes!! This is every nerd's dream. Do I get abilities? Do I get to choose where I get to go?"

The clerk replied, "Hold your horses! Your questions, abilities, and worlds are random, determined by our giant Gashapon machines. We don't want to have too many overpowered people messing up the balance of different worlds, and it's a little more fun this way."

Then, two giant Gashapon machines appeared behind the figure.

Clerk: "Let me explain the Gashapon machine for abilities. First, there are four colors of balls that represent different ability ranks. Purple is rank S, red is rank A, blue is rank B, and white is rank C. You only get to pull once, and that's it. What you get is what you get. The abilities you receive will adapt based on the world you go to. In different worlds, the Gashapon machine functions the same way. Are you ready?"

Though I was disappointed that I couldn't choose my abilities or world, I was still excited. I replied, "Yes!"

I approached the machine to obtain my abilities. I pulled the handle with force, and suddenly, a bright light appeared, revealing a purple ball! I eagerly opened it and found a piece of paper inside. Not only that, but I picked it up and read the words written on it: the Rinnegan!

Clerk: "Looks like it's your lucky day. You were able to get an S-rank ability with those eyes. Now, let's move on to the world selection to see how your abilities will adapt."

I approached the Gashapon machine for worlds and pulled the lever. Balls popped out, and I opened one to find it said, "Twilight." Oh no! Now I wish I had watched all the movies or read the books with my sister.

Clerk: "Well, it seems like you won't be able to change much there, but your presence alone will still have an impact."

..... "Can't I at least be reborn or retain my memories when the story starts? That way, I won't be a baby again?"

Clerk: "I can arrange that. Now, let's discuss the usage of abilities. The Rinnegan and its paths will not require chakra but rather Magic to utilize them. Since there are individuals who can use magic in that world. Additionally, the Rinnegan paths may undergo changes based on magic, but they will still retain their weaknesses. You will have to train your body and magic from the beginning to use them effectively. Now, I will send you to be reborn. Good luck."

A bright light flashed, and I vanished.

Clerk: "Hmm, it seems like I forgot to explain something before he left. Oh, well."
