The novel itself is not that good (at least the part I have read 50–60 chapters) it's not a matter of 'I don't like it' it's a matter of 'it is bad', it's a fact, and you are right "many readers and critics appreciate a story that takes its time to develop characters, themes, or plotlines, as long as the payoff is earned and feels rewarding" can be true, but that's when the novel is well written, a good example is LOTM, which is very slow/boring at the beginning but one of the best novels in the middle-late parts, but that's the thing, lotm is just boring/slow, so maybe not for everyone, but in no way it is bad, this novel is. Also, "Everything you find a problem with is a plot point that will be explained" doesn't mean anything, the plot itself is not my problem, my problem is how the plot is executed, they are very different things, good example is the new DAV, great plot, shit execution, that's not smt you can just correct later unless you do a re-write, adding more things or connecting dots, fixing 'plot holes', etc., don't change what already happened.

It's not a matter of strength, their fight is just boring, that is why the only fanfic so far with puppets that was good, was one about bleach captains as puppets in Naruto world, but they are controlled remotely, similar to mc possessing them. cause the whole line shit only works well if mc had a fruit like dofla, with the wood fruit = just a waste of time.
