Rick and Morty: Guide to Absolute Power

Jason was just an ordinary guy, a fan of Rick and Morty, but just an ordinary - above average intelligence, guy. who happened to be a scientist in his own right. When suddenly, he, outside the Central Finite Curve, found him in the body of a version of himselves inside the Curve. The areas in which Rick and Morty are real. With it being literally impossible to be smarter than Rick, but not at all liking being weaker than him, he decides to initiate a plan. But he's not alone. Infinite versions of himself, have also been transferred into the Rick and Morty Infinite-verse, all in different dimensions each with their own goals, most of them having watched Rick and Morty, but a few thousand have the same goal as him. Absolute power. And they all wont stop at anything for it, and they all know they will be fighting each other and whatever else this fuck-fest will throw at them. This is Jason Prime's Guide to Absolute Power. === The story is set 3 years before Rick C-137 meets Morty Prime. But this is the Rick and Morty verse, time barely matters, every reality is different, but just knows its 3 years before the events of the show. But other Rick's and Morty are already on their adventures. Going off this frame from the show; https://imgur.com/I1a572d The year is 2015 season three onwards. So Rick meets Morty in 2013(as stated in 'Close Rick-counters of the Rick Kind, its been a year since Rick has been living with the Smith family, and then we can add another year by the time that episode comes on, as the show itself started in 2013. Its safe to assume the universe started there too.). This is a Rick and Morty fanfic that centers around a person residing outside the Central Finite Curve, in a reality where Rick and Morty are just a cartoon, finding themselves inside the Central Finite Curve, where Rick and Morty are real, and more common. Its about him fighting Rick's and other versions of him that are also from realities where Rick and Morty is just a cartoon. Fighting for the only chance they have at power that can rival Rick Sanchez if used right. Rhett Caan. This will be a pretty long story, and not the entire story will be just reaching the power, later on it will be messing around with the power. Waning: The amount of technical science in this story will be extremely high, like, Jason almost every other chapter will be spending the entire chapter developing one thing in extreme detail, with made up science, as authentic as I can make it sound.

Chapter 10: Home

"It's been less than a day since we've moved in here and you've already set up a whole lab?" Angel asks, standing in the stairway of the basement, which has been taken over by Jason, who has turned the sizably large basement into his lab.

Jason had recently fully bought a home for him and Angel after cryptocurrencies heavily payed out, and he instantly cashed 50% of them out, netting him a few millions while waiting for the rest to grow even further... or crash.

Matters not, he's rich now.

And at the moment, he is planning shield generator to cover their house from everything thrown at it,

Jason murmurs sweet nothings to himself, drawing lines and diagrams. He envisions a giant shield generator, capable of enveloping their entire house in a protective bubble. Unlike any typical security system, this shield would be invisible and capable of DNA recognition, allowing only Jason and Angel unrestricted access.

"The key here is integrating biometric authentication directly into the plasma field's activation mechanism," Jason thinks aloud as he adjusts the parameters on his digital model. He plans to use a sophisticated network of sensors embedded around the perimeter of the house that would scan and verify DNA, ensuring the shield remains invisible and intangible to them while solidifying to block any unauthorized entity.

Jason delves into the science of biometrics combined with advanced plasma physics. He theorizes that by using a combination of infrared and ultrasonic sensors, he can create a detailed profile of an approaching individual's genetic markers from a distance.

Effectively creating a 3D scan of their face using radiation and sound emitters and receivers, "If the DNA doesn't match, the plasma shield solidifies, simple as that," Jason notes, scribbling down the algorithm adjustments needed.

For the plasma field itself, Jason revisits his earlier Particle Hardening project. He plans to enhance the ionization process to cover a larger area and integrate a more dynamic magnetic field control that adapts in real-time to external pressures, potentially from physical impacts or energy-based attacks.

Jason sets up a prototype of the DNA recognition module, using samples from both himself and Angel to calibrate the system. He integrates it with a small-scale version of the plasma shield in the lab, testing the reaction time and reliability of the DNA-scanning mechanism.

"One of the biggest hurdles is the shield's power consumption and the sensitivity of the DNA scanners," Jason acknowledges as he reviews the energy readings. "It needs to be efficient enough to run continuously but sensitive enough to detect and respond instantly to unauthorized access."

To address this, he develops a low-power pulse mode for the scanners that intermittently checks for DNA signatures unless a threat is detected, at which point it switches to a high-power mode to activate the shield.

"This version should be able to take the spray of a machine gun indefinitely, but bombs would probably shatter it. It needs better force dampening." Jason muses before getting back to work.

===

After weeks of tweaking and testing, Jason finally sets up the full-scale model around the perimeter of their property. The system's heart, a series of interlinked generators, creates a seamless plasma field that is invisible to the eye and touch—until it encounters a non-recognized DNA signature.

If you move fast enough, you could get past it before it detects you sadly, so Jason has set the shield to be always on for the moment, in the future he plans to use much more sophisticated ways of detection.

Down to a persons soul.

"Honey! I'm going to work!" Angel shouts, getting into the car, she bought.

He doesn't know how she did it, but she somehow become the manager of the supermarket she worked at, and its rapidly expanding. With her abysmal lack of charisma Jason is 110% convinced she beat the former manager into submission and took the job from him.

"There's no other way..." Jason mutters as she drives off, with how low the average intelligence is for the general public in the Rick and Morty universe, that could of very well happened.

"Welp. I need to get back to work..." and find a way to tell Angel he plans to leave Earth for ultimate power. He does not know how in gods green earth he is going to convince her he can make a space ship.

===

Back at his desk, Jason leans back in his chair, fingers steepled under his chin as he contemplates the vast complexities of his proposed project. The concept of preserving and transferring one's consciousness isn't just a technical challenge; it treads into the profound depths of what it means to be human.

"Okay, let's think this through," Jason mutters to himself. "Creating a backup of my mind is technically feasible, maybe, with the right tools and breakthroughs in neuroimaging and quantum computing. But what about the ethical implications? If my memories, my thoughts, my... self can be duplicated, what does that mean for my identity?"

He considers the philosophical debate around identity and self-awareness. "Am I just the sum of my memories and experiences? Or is there something intrinsic, something fundamentally 'me' that can't be digitized?"

These questions aren't just rhetorical; they strike at the heart of his intentions. If he succeeds, could his digital self truly possess his consciousness, or would it merely be a shadow, devoid of the essence that makes Jason, Jason?

"Let's say I can create this backup," he continues, his gaze drifting to the array of screens displaying neural networks and quantum models. "And suppose it's activated upon my death. Would that digital copy really be me, continuing on, or just a facsimile thinking it's me based on the memories it has?"

Jason's mind circles around the concept of continuity. "For it to be truly me, there needs to be an unbroken thread connecting my current consciousness to any future instance. But if my original consciousness ends, and this backup begins, isn't that just a copy starting where I left off? Where do 'I' truly reside then—in the biological or the digital?"

"But where do I even start? Neuroscience isn't something I have ever touched". Tapping his desk, Jason moves onto a different matter - protecting his memories, to prevent them from being erased.

He believes he can easily do that if he just gets to studying. He makes a mental note to return to the topic of consciousness another time.
