White, and only white. That's what on everybody mind when skies slowly sent little white thing down. That usually happened in the end of the year, nobody like the temperature of the weather but everybody would cheer up because that would be the holiday of the year.
"Winter is coming…" That's the sound that folks would shout everyday in every corner in the Reverie empire. Nothing except white would cover all over the place from the first until third sector in Reverie's. This place became the number one biggest empire from the three others empire that called "The Holy Trinity".
It's a beautiful kingdom, people always happy and winter became the most favorite season. There would a lot of festival and the light festival's the biggest one where everyone wished a long and happy life for them, king, and also their kingdom. They believed that Wigdar "God of blessing" had save them from long war that took a lot of life. Some people also believed that Viscount "God of the death and underworld" been took a life until he satisfied and they pray he didn't take more life again.
"Father, winter is coming and it will arrive soon," A man bended his knee in the altar. He spoke to the number one person in the kingdom. He paid all of his respect to someone that had a tittle "Savior" because of his guts and lead into victory road. "What should we prepare? Give me the order."
He just silent and sat there in his throne while his brain thought about meaning behind his son saying. "What do you mean son?" He spoke so calmly and full of chemistry, the whole room and all of his guard would do anything when an order came out from his mouth.
"I think we should prepare for outsider, it had been 5 years and both of them didn't make any move at all. Don't you think it just too suspicious?" Now he looked into his father eyes to make him believed that he didn't say some bullshit or just paranoid over something. He wanted him to understand that he isn't child anymore.
"Them!? Do you mean our neighbor," He scoffed, "Son, if you think that they would break our peace right now then you should learn again about trusting our friends!"
"Friend did you say!!?" He stood up because he couldn't believe what just he said, "Those people were trying to kill you and now you called them a friend just because some pepper with your name on it? Just for you know I don't believe any of those fuckers that been over generation tried to break of peace and killed our people."
"Watch you mouth son!!" He also stood up, "Remember your position king's hand! When you speak with me in here that's mean you talked to a king and not just your father! I have the decision here and I give you order to do nothing at all."
"But your highness—" He still tried to make his father understand what he just said.
"—Silent, Arthur!!! I don't want to hear anything from you. Now get out from this room!"
Arthur couldn't believe what he just heard. He didn't have a bad idea, he just wanted to make sure that his people are safe during their holiday that happened just one month in a year. He walked out from the room with anger and putted his sword behind his back. He held his sword tightly and believed that one day he would use his legendary sword again. "Not yet…" he said it inside his heart.
He walked from the king's room and stood there for a second, he stared to every corner of the place slowly covered by the snow. He inhaled the cold winter air. "Such a wonderful time, right?" He heard someone said that line.
"Didn't goes well?" Some guy walked from the corner of the place.
"Johnathan, huh.." he sighed, "You always come out of nowhere," Arthur smiled and stepped forward to the main stairway. He sat down in the ground and close his eyes tried to feel the cold air and snow that landed on his head.
His head full of unspoken thought and suddenly he remembered his relationship with his father that never goes well. It begun when Arthur became the King's hand, he learned a lot of things. Especially wars that changed him. That's the first time he knew world was cruel, "it was terrifying to see someone talked to you and an hour later they died to protect your life." That was some saying that Arthur always said to his man.
"We should do what we should've done," Suddenly his mouth spitted something from his mouth after a couple minutes silent still without any conversation. Johnathan knew his friends was stress enough and he put a little room for Arthur to breathe and dealt with his man. He just stood next to him and waited until he spoke something.
"You always repeated those word, right?" Johnathan sat next to him and watched the people walked below them. "He threw you out again, am I right?"
"What can you expect from that old bastard," Arthur sighed and put out his sword. He stared at his sword in every detail of it, that word was one of the best weapons around The Holy Trinity and it called "The Doom bringer". It helped him to survive in the big war and brought doom and death to his enemies. "Come and put them together John, I want to talk to you all."
He turned his eyes to Johnathan, "You mean the four of us?" He wanted to make sure the meaning from Arthur commands.
"Yeah, eight o'clock in Ellia's bar." He stood up and leaved Johnathan sat there alone. "And don't be late okay." He put his arm up and waved to him.
Arthur walked around the city to clear his mind, down from the King's palace. There where King and his family live, it's also his home too but Arthur didn't like that place. There's too many guards and a lot of people that worked, he didn't like the circumstances. That's why he like to walked around the city and watched the people prepare their winter.
Down to the second sector where there's the market and a lot of store, people bought their supply. So many people salute him and he smiled back to them. There're so many people were cheering and enjoy their holiday after one year working for their fields and anything. He saw a family with their child walked and bought everything for the store and he assumed it's their supply to face a big winter this year. "What a happy family," He said to himself, something that he wouldn't never feel. A little family and joy appeared around them.
He was walking and keep walking down to the third sector, it little bit quiet because most of them were house and fields. There where people lived and enjoy their warmed dinner with their family. It's barely people outside because of the snow. Arthur walked with his rope and his light suited, it's metal and he regretted to being outside for too long. It's getting cold outside and he didn't have the place to go, so he decided to came to the Maria wall. He wanted to check the border and his soldier that been decrease because of his father wanted to make them feel the holiday.
He climbed and saw the forest from the tower. "It's pretty minim soldier here, we can get attacks in one strike and even God's can't save us," said to himself. He prayed everything would be okay but deep down in his heart he couldn't believe that his father just lower the guard like there's no big deal about it.

The bell had ring and it always sounded every hour. He remembered that he wanted to see Johnathan at eight o'clock. The skies had turned into totally dark and the only thing he could see was just the fire, light, and the snow that came down from the skies.
He walked back to the second sector and rushed to the Ellia's bar. That's the only place that he could go without a lot of distraction. Ellia's bar was the only bar that didn't have a lot of customers except they're who join the troops.
"Sorry I'm little bit late guys," Arthur closed the door and he little bit shocked because they came on time and nobody late except for him. "Wow, so everyone came on time huh."
"Shut up Arthur, I closed the bar just for you and I hope there's something important that you wanted to say to us," Ellia sounded behind the table while poured a whisky for herself. She's one of Arthur special forces, the only woman that could kill him while he sleeps because of his archery skills. They called her "Foxy" because her brain never out of ideas. She's a beautiful woman with the soft skin but also a cold heart. She had a red hair just like a fox and very pretty smile that could make every man in the kingdom fall for her. She's deadly with her skill or also her face and body, she thought it was her tool to kill a lot of people and that's why Arthur like it. He like her idea and her ambition that would useful for him and his goals.
"Just calm down people, I do have something important but first. Let me get a drink," He sat in the table in the middle of them. Right next to Johnathan. Ellia get him a whisky, the same one and Arthur drank it with one shot. "Now, what I wanted to say is," He took a deep breath, "We need to move without our king's command." The whole room was quiet and couldn't believe what they just hear. Now their eyes were stare only at one spot and they only stared at Arthur.
