6. No more a trash

Knowing who it is, Vernox turned around with a smile. Even if he wasn't the previous Vernox he still remembers that there are still people who didn't ridicule him wherever he went.

"And what are you doing here Claire?" He asked as he turned around to face the girl who was doing something to a plant.

She was beautiful, almost as beautiful as Fiona and was on par with Beth's beauty. She had long white hair which flowed below her shoulders, her green eyes seem to dazzle as the sun rays pierced through the glass dome. Her skin glowed and looked flawless.

Claire also had CURVES!! IN THE RIGHT PLACES!!

Ant it was worse for Vernox who was looking at her while standing because the way she bent down her ass looked robust and declared it's existence from where he stood.

"You're asking me what I'm doing? You know that no one is allowed to actually harvest or take anything unless they will face punishment." Claire said in an indifferent tone and a nonchalant face.

Vernox was already used to this and asked, "And who's going to tell on me?"

Claire was dumbfounded. Her and Vernox were not too close but they were close enough to know how the other behaved.

Claire Slither of the slither family, a family that specialises in plants and agriculture. Due to the contributions of this family they could rise through the ranks and be second only to the royal family.

Due to Vernox being a prince, they naturally knew each other.

"Uh..." Claire was dumbfounded about what Vernox asked. Is he calling her a coward or what?

She didn't say anything and then continued what she was doing silently.

'I thought so' Vernox thought as he made his way out of the primal garden back to his room.

"Stupid! stupid!... That was the best you could say." Claire scolded herself as she banged her slender hand against the ground.

She currently has feelings for the second prince, Vernox, but doesn't know how to express it.

She has been suppressing this feeling for so long but it became worse when her family instructed her to stop seeing him. That was when they found out that he was cursed and weak.

She got the opportunity earlier but blew it. When she saw him taking the apple, she couldn't say anything other than reprimand him.

"Looks like I'll have to bear this feeling on my own." She mumbled in a sad tone.

Vernox, upon getting to his room brought out the apple as he laid on his bed tiredly. It's not easy to walk with a big Apple within your trousers.

"This is the first step I'll take to become stronger." He said as he looked at the golden apple that had a subtle glow to it.

He didn't waste any time and took a bite out of it.

Vernox eyes widened as the taste of this Drupe was heavenly. It tastes like oranges but also pineapples... In fact he could taste all kinds of fruit from one bite.

Vernox wasted not time as he finished eating the apple in a short while.

Vernox smiled at his progress. Today was full of different events that he was supposed to get used to, seeing people with horns, seeing people with tails, living in a castle, what more could he possibly ask for.

Although he still doesn't know what he was supposed to do in this world, he at least knew that he can't save anything without power.

Remembering the perfect way of soul energy absorption Vernox opened his soul vortex and the vertical tornado appeared in front of him.

White streams of energy was directed to the vortex and was absorbed by him, raising his strength and improving his body. He could feel changes right away and so he continued.

After a few hours of absorbing energy, a sudden wave of energy washed over him like as if he was just bathed with water. Vernox was amazed at the level he was able to achieve in just a few hours.

He felt stronger and his senses felt sharper than before.

He hurriedly checked the system screen to see how much he has improved. A feeling like the one he felt just now meant a breakthrough.

With each level being higher than the last. The difference between a soul awakener and a soul hunter was vast. A single soul hunter could wipe out a hundred soul awakeners.

To be able to break through from soul specialist to soul master, this new method of absorption was heavenly. And what's this?

"The system allows me to allocate the points." He mumbled.

Normally the absorption that Vernox was using was aimed to absorb as much soul energy as possible in a smaller period of time.
