 Lily's POV 

I am not sure I heard him right but all I know is that I need to be far away from him.

"I'm sorry if I startle you but I want us to talk" he said after seeing how I reacted to his words.

My resolve faltered slightly but I grasped onto it.

"We don't have anything to talk about, can you please go back the way you came?!" My voice is higher now but that didn't faze him one bit.

Coming a little closer to me caused me to move back.

"I want to apologize properly for my insensitivity the other day but I can't deny that I really want you". 

"We are strangers" I fired back at him in frustration.

"No, we are not. I am attracted to you. Hell, I think I like you." He replied putting a hand in his pocket and running the second one through his hair.

My gaze followed his movements and I was momentarily lost.

He is a lot different from his usual self when dressed formally.

What the hell is wrong with me?!
