CHAPTER 51

　　Derek wanted to move up the wedding date. He asked me what I thought about the idea, but I knew he was excited about us getting married soon. I said yes. I think the sooner we get married, the better I'll feel. To be honest I'm not sure about feeling good about the wedding. But I needed to do it because my heart kept shouting Stefan's name. Marrying Derek would make me forget about Stefan. Or at least, that's what I hoped for.

　　"Yes, I do, Derek," I accepted.

　　I had never seen such a big smile of happiness on Derek's face. He kissed me. I had to thank Stefan for what he did. I know it hasn't been easy for Stefan to give me to his brother. My ex-husband acknowledged his mistake. He did it because he saw me shattered after Derek left me and walked away.

　　"What about what happened yesterday? Do you forget it?"
