Chapter 56: The War 2

From this chapter, the story of the Greylash family starts. I don't know how many chapters I can write about the story. But, I will surely write 2 chapters about it.

Story of the Greylash Family…

The Greylash family was the real Royal family. They ruled the kingdom for ages.

Their rule was considered as Golden Period of the Kingdom.

But, not everyone knew that the Greylash family was the ruler. They never went out in royal clothes or any army. When they go out, it would be like a noble who had a high status.

Due to them being a family that didn't like much attention, they were not considered Royalty by the people and even some nobles. Only some of the nobles knew about them and their prowess.

All the normal citizens considered the Evure family as the Royals and hailed them as such.

(AN: Evure family is the current Royals. I think you'll understand what I say.)

The Greylash family also didn't respond to their misunderstanding. They then kept Alex Evure as their representative.

Alex Evure used to talk to people and address all their problems. Everyone believed that he was the King. Alex also didn't correct their mistake as the Greylash family told them not to do so.

Alex would hear all the problems and tell them to the Greylash family. The Greylash family would tell ways to solve the problems by making Alex in front of them making others believe that it was he who solved the problems.

The head of The Greylash Family was Robin Greylash. He was an easygoing person. He often joked with Alex and they were best friends.

Robin didn't want to get too much involved in politics. So, he only came to meetings when anything important takes place.

On all other occasions, it will be Alex will lead the meeting.

The friendship between Robin and Alex was also a determining factor for the pseudo-royal clan.

Robin had complete trust in Alex. He transferred most of his royal power to him and allowed him to run the kingdom as he wanted.

Alex didn't betray his trust and he made the kingdom prosperous with his rule. Everyone was happy with him.

The pact between the Greylash and Evure families never broke even after hundreds of years passed.

But, the information about the Greylash family being the real Royal family was spread throughout the kingdom.

Alex calmed down the people saying not to believe in rumors. The people believed him as they loved him as a King.

Alex tried to find who had spread this information that caused much chaos in the kingdom but was unsuccessful.

After a lot of tries and also sending his trusted spies to monitor all the nobles, he found that it was one of the noble houses that had spread the rumor.

He became very angry and decided to make the whole generation of this specific noble house go extinct.

He was going to order his forces to do so when a trusted spy came and told him that the Malene Kingdom was organizing their troops to wage war against them.

He became angry when he heard that the Noble house, who spread the rumor had joined hands with them.

Alex now found a reason to fight the war and that was to make this noble house go extinct!
