Answering Some Questions

I listened in on the other beings conversation and overheard some things while still devouring the island in the mean time.

"Well yeah, I mean this planet won't be surviving for long, we still haven't reported this to the monarch, but I think he'll send some people over."

"This planet's main race is quite speedy with their technology, having reached 1st league in so little time. Quite a big progress bar for them."

"Yeah, that won't be for long though. I hope the monarch sends reinforcements faster.

"Okay, let's go report to the monarch."

As I listened I tempered their minds a little to give more information as to what was happening. I asked them in their minds, what was the name of the monarch and who is he?

"Divine Low Peak Monarch Lucius, refiner of the system Incept, main race Demogorgon."

Wow, that's a lot of info, it seems these other beings are quite weak minded, since I can control them so easily. They should be this divine monarch's helpers. If his helpers are this bad, I wonder how bad he is. Also, he's a low peak monarch? What does that mean? I asked them.

"There are 3 levels to monarchs, low peak, mid peak, high peak, they tell their power's level. The level is determined by how many star systems they refine."

Refine star systems? That is the first time I've heard of that. What is it? I again asked them.

"Refining systems require a lot of power, which small beings like us, have no power to do so. Only monarchs can refine systems and in doing that they get much stronger depending on how much they refine."

Oh okay, well thank you guys, but I'll have to keep you here so you can't report anything to the monarch. I whisper commands using my mind laws to make them think they have free will, but in actuality they don't.

"Maybe we can stay here, get more information about their powers?"

"Yeah, I strangely think the need to stay here. I like it here."

I have to keep them at bay here for as long as possible. If they go out and call this monarch out, I think I'll be crushed like an ant once they discover me. So for now, I'll devour the island and after I will have a chance to fight this monarch.

Or I could send one of these Lucius helpers to the monarch and quietly control one of them. But I don't know if my mind law can do that.

Oh wait, I know. I will devour the island and send the Lucius helpers with my mind law then. For now, I will focus on getting as much power as I can.

I have been slowly getting faster at devouring the island, the first time I thought it would take 30 years to eat it. Now I think it has gone down to 15 years at max.

Anyways, I have thought about getting some vacation lately, maybe I'll go down to human form and have some fun.
