"I thought so" Ryu voiced out and replied

"From the very start I never thought that I would be able to beat you with my current strength. However, at the very least I hoped that by displaying my strength to you I would be able to convince you into considering what I had said before." Ryu said as he went ahead and placed Yamato down.

"Is that so?" Kaido replied as he stared down at him with a narrow gaze

"Yup" Ryu looked up at him and answered

"And what if I still say no?" Kaido asked

"Well considering your wish and desire to start a great war in the future. I was about sixty percent sure you would agree to my proposal. However, if by the off chance you said no then my only option would have been to carefully sneak out of this island when you weren't looking." Ryu replied.

"Huh!" Hearing what Ryu said Kaido couldn't help but look at him completely stunned not only at his son's boldness but at also hearing him mention about his desire to start a war. Which he hadn't told anyone yet besides his close subordinates.

"And how did you know that I want to start a war in the future?" He asked

"Just a guess." Ryu replied

"Wororororo, is that so?" Kaido laughed out loud and asked with an amused grin towards his son's vague reply

"Yeah. So, do you agree with my previous proposal and allow me and Yamato to go out to sea?" Ryu asked

"Alright, however I first want to know how you plan to make the beast pirates stronger." Kaido, who changed back into his human form, asked as he sat down.

"That's simple, I plan to recruit a few extremely talented individuals while on my time out at sea. And with their help expand the power of the beast pirates." Ryu explained

"Is that all?" Kaido looked at him and asked in disappointment

"Yeah. I already know and have some people in mind. And trust me their talents are nothing to scuff at. A couple of them are owners of conquerors haki and one other individual has the ability to create artificial devil fruits." Ryu replied.

"What!" Kaido got up and yelled in shock. Ignoring and not questioning his son how he knew all this.

"Do you still feel disappointed now?" Ryu asked with clear amusement

"You aren't lying to me are you? are you completely sure about what you are saying to me?" Kaido went on and questioned him

"And what good would it do for me to lie to you? One of the reasons I wanted to go to sea in the first place was to go out and recruit these people" Ryu replied

"Is that so? then if that's the case can't you just tell me where I can locate them so I can send people over there and bring them here?" Kaido asked

"That's true, however in the end they wouldn't become my subordinates but yours." Ryu answered to his question

"Oh, so what of it? Shouldn't it be ok for them to become my subordinates?" Kaido asked

"No it wouldn't since I want them to be loyal to me not you. Considering the fact that In the future either me or Yamato will be the ones to inherit the beast pirates. Meaning that we'll need our own strong and trusted subordinates." Ryu retorted

"Is that so? then so be it. When do you two plan to leave then? And what will you need " Kaido gave in and asked

"The sooner the better but for now could you take off the cuffs from Yamato and have someone look for two girls named Ulti and Black Maria. They should both be somewhere around this island. I want them both sent to me. " Ryu replied

"Alright, I'll have the hand cuffs removed off from your brother. Only if he promises me to stop worshipping Oden. As for these two girls you want me to look for are they both included in the people you mentioned before that you wanted to look for? Kaido replied and asked

"Yeah" Ryu responded

"Alright, I'll have my subordinates look for them then." Kaido replied

"And Yamato should have no problem in promising you." Ryu stated as he turned around and looked at Yamato

Right?" he asked her

"I'm okay with that" Yamato replied nonchalant

"Oh?" Kaido looked at her and said in surprise. Having expected her to completely refuse him. Remembering how defiant she used to be whenever he mentioned the topic to her.

What Kaido didn't know however was that Yamato had stopped worshipping Oden a long time ago. Thanks to the persuasion of Ryu who didn't have his memories yet. Who convinced her that Oden wasn't all what she expected him to be. Which was a pretty difficult task seeing as every time he bad mouthed him she would immediately get all defensive with him. However In the end after Ryu told her about all the things that Oden did in the past as well as how irresponsible and stupid he was for leaving Wanokuni to the mercy of his enemies for his own amusement. Which in the end ultimately led to the suffering of the people of Wano. Yamato finally gave up on worshipping Oden. Feeling only disappointed In herself for idolizing him

"Is that all" Ryu asked Kaido, quickly getting his attention.

"Huh?" Kaido voiced out and said

"Is that all you need from us?" Ryu replied

"Oh! Yeah, that's all I need. I'll order King to prepare a ship for you two. Along with some men" Kaido responded

"Alright then we'll be on our way then." Ryu stated as he turned around and left, followed by Yamto who hurriedly chased after him.

"Wait!" Kaido yelled out and stopped them

"What is it?" Ryu turned around and asked.

"Just one question. What mythical devil fruit did you eat." Kaido went on and asked

"Is that important?" Ryu replied

"Yes, I need to know which devil fruit you ate" Kaido insisted

"Well then if you must know I ate the dragon fruit. Model celestial dragon god." Ryu replied to his inquiry.

"Celestial dragon god?" Kaido asked in surprise

"Yes, now that I've answered your question I'll be leaving now." Ryu said as he turned around and proceeded to leave, with Yamato tagging along.

"Celestial dragon god huh? Kaido muttered beneath his breath

"Wororororo..." Kaido raised his head up and laughed

"To think that such a devil fruit existed. Bearing the name of the beast that the world nobles named themselves after." He said in excitement

"It seems that things will be getting interesting in the future." he said as he grabbed his jug of wine and took a drink.

"I wonder what impactful things you'll do in the future brat."
