9. Coincidence
"WUAAAAA Slow down damn!!" I shouted as I was in the air gripping the rope of my horse.
I am dead for sure this time!! And I regret the thing that I'll be killed by my horse but not by my enemy. Mann! How are these horses as fast as a hyper sports car??
As I was shouting for my dear life, this damn beautiful white horse was neighing and was charging towards the enemy running on the beautiful dryland with the sun directly above our head.
"Commander!!! Wait for us!!" the soldiers were riding horses trying to keep up with me. So, this horse is faster than the normal horses there huh?
SWISSSSHHH "!!" "Damn they started shooting arrows!! Everyone, take cover!!" the solder with the highest strength who nearly caught up me shouted. "Mages!! Prepare a barrier!!" I shouted and started to signal the solders to get closer to each other so the barrier can be as small as possible.
"Commander!! This will be our opportunity! We have to attack as fast as we can when all the enemy archers get ready to shoot for the second round." The one with the high intelligence suggested me.
"Yeah, that's a good idea."
"Archers!! Prepare to shoot!! As the first wave of their arrows finishes shoot the frontline of the enemy!!" I shouted.
Normally in any game or normal war stories the basic strategy consist swordsman as the front line riding horses and followed by DPS and place the archers at the last, but my strategy is a kind of opposite as the archers are riding the horses it should be easy to takedown the frontline as well as the enemy's defense.
If my solders who are using short range weapons reach the mages of the enemy this battle will sure be mine.
"Now release the arrows!!" I shouted as the barriers disappeared.
As expected, this plan is working. It's now paying off for reading all that boring war novels. I've never imagined that I'll be in a war someday but I was sure that if the World War III begins, I will be dead for sure.
Half of the enemy's were taken down by the time we clashed with the enemies' head on. It sure took some time as we have to stop every time the enemies used long range attack to be in the barrier, but we didn't take any damage. My stomach sure hurts by seeing myself killed by an arrow but now it's more intense as the sword fight began.
"You two come with me." I took both of the solders with higher strength and intelligence with me to an empty place with the least people present (They were all me anyway).
"So…. Umm how much angle should be used to throw a weight of approximately 70kgs at a distance approximately 3oo meters at a height 200meters with the least force??" I asked the intelligent me.
I know that this question sounds like a question from a competitive exam but still, I need to get the answer. I mean he started calculating as fast as I told him the problem and he even didn't question me.
"It takes about 61 degrees to be in that place sir."
WHAAAA SO FAST!!? Man, I wish I was that smart too I would have topped all the exams in my previous life… anyway now that the calculations are done its time to do the practical.
"Then suggest me a nice place so that this plan would not fail."
"Umm… then that place should be perfect commander." He said pointing towards a higher platform.
"Ok then let's go." We started moving towards our destination avoiding every enemy.
My plan was working better than I thought. If I would have followed that damn novel, I would have already been dead as I don't know any magic spells. Even if my archers were riding horses as the distance between the enemy was less, they could take down the enemy easily. The more important reason is that the enemy swordsmen were riding the horse which had less attack range compared my men on the horse who were archers.
The mages created a barrier for my men for every wave of the long-range attacks of the enemy and I could also see that my swordsmen who were on there foot are battling with the mages who are weak with physical attacks.
"So, what is the thing you want me to throw commander?" the muscle man asked me.
"Commander must have some explosives to throw at the enemy." The brain man answered.
"No, there are no explosives or anything." I replied to them in a serious tone. Man being a leader is definitely hard.
"Then??" they both questioned me same time.
Oh! so this is how I look when I am curious huh? Not bad. I sure am good looking.
No back to the topic again "Umm you will be throwing me!" I said with a serious face full of confidence.
"WHAT???!!" they shouted.
Yeah, as I have seen now, these people do just the things I ask them to do without any question so even if I explain them everything and told them to do, I would still get into danger.
"gulp" now I wonder is this really a good idea?
"Are you ready Commander?"
"Yes?" damn this is really a bad idea!! He is already gripping my hands like a magnet attached to a metal. I think I should first experiment on someone!
"Ummm this should be approximately 61 degrees." The brainy told to the muscle by making some angle with both of his hands.
"On a second thought we sho- AAAAAAHHHHHH" in that damn second, he spined me like a shotput and throwed me into air!!
"I am dead, I am dead, I am dead AAAAAHHHHH someone save meeeeeeee!!!!!"
Now I know how a stone feels when you throw it with your full force. He throwed me at a force that the tears in my eyes vanished as it came out of my eyes, I can't even hear my screams. If I land like this, I will definitely die!

"PPFFFF" I jumped back as fast as I saw under me.
WHAT THE!!! Why is he under me?
Am I really seeing right? That red cape tells that he is the commander, right?
Then why was he below me? Did I really ummm… land on him?? He literally became a gum under a shoe! So, this is what happens to someone when a weight of nearly 70kg falls on them even if they have more strength than the 70kg thing huh?
I looked down at my beloved muscle man and brain man, they were more shocked than me that they seem pale.
What is this kind of coincidence even called?

In a blink of an eye, I was sitting on one of the chairs of the two-person table. It seemed like a Boardroom with a warm light covering the entire room. As far as I know, the third floor should be about hunting monsters.
Did the scenario change for me? Damn!! What would it be then?? I even memorized all the locations of the monsters which give me more points to impress the goddess!!
Why should this happen at the last floor of the trial??

"What is this?" after sometime as I started to figure it out, I could not stop smiling.
It was definitely a chess board. Then this would be the easiest floor out of all. I think that luck is with me for the time being.

A figure started to form with a bright light, as the brightness of the light decreased, I could see an old man with long white beard and hair appeared in front of me.

"Yes mam!" I shut my mouth while screaming internally. It's the first time seeing a real ghost!!
