Reincarnated as Brendan in Pokemon

An average Pokemon fan gets reincarnated as Brendan in Hoenn. Will he be able to adapt to this new world? Well read and see bruh. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ This is my original Fanfic The first few chapters are short deal with it. The rest are still short, but 1.1k words each My first time trying to write anything, besides my narratives in school, so go easy on me :( If I made a mistake please point it out, I will try to fix them, there will probably be a lot of em xd. This fanfic is based on the games Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire because I've played Gen 3 the most out of all of the games and is an all-time favourite Generation of Pokemon for me.

Chapter 5

*Info dump warning*

After arriving in Petalburg Brendan headed to his father's house to relax. He's been training his Pokemon non-stop since he left Littleroot Town to start his journey. Opening the door to his father's house with a password, Brendan releases his Pokemon

"Okay guys time to take a well deserved break!."

Brendan proceeds to tap the the middle of three poke balls as three red beams shot out of their respective poke ball.

"Torr!"

Torchic rapidly ran around like a child on a sugar rush. Torchic's personality is like a flame, at times it's burning extremely hot then the next it's very calm/ tired (Basically very hyper).

"Take this time to relax guys, tomorrow will be our first ever gym battle."

Brendan spent most of the day playing around with his Pokemon feeding them Pokeblock to increase their health as Poochyena and Ralts were wild pokemon and aren't as healthy as his Torchic is.

The way talent works is that for each colour represents a pokemons average Ivs in each stat; for example, a red talent will have five Ivs in each stat on average, while while deep red will have five to nine Ivs in each stat. Each talent colour above will always increase the Iv average by five. So, for example, a green talent would have 25 average Ivs in each stat. So talent isn't the biggest factor but is extremely useful.

(The way pokemon power levels work)

Beginner level 0-10

Rookie level 11-20

Advanced level 21-30

Intermediate level 31-40

Veteran level 41-50

Elite level 51-60

Quasi-Champion level 61-70

Champion level 71-80

Getting a Pokemon to level consistently is not easy. Think about the trainers who don't participate in gym battles and are only able to battle other trainers and wild Pokemon. Not everyone in this world is able to get rare and strong Pokemon and get information about each and every Pokemon to be able to train them to see their full potential. That's why most trainers are type specialists because they researched and have worked with their type before so their able to replicate training sessions with each of their Pokemon.

Only lucky few trainers are able to research about each Pokemon of their region, like how Brendan became the assistant of Professor Birch (The reason I believe there aren't like hundreds of Champion level trainers in the games and anime).

Brendan's pokemon are:

Torchic: Rookie level

Poochyena: Low Rookie level

Ralts: High Beginner level

"Stop pecking on my clothes Torchic"

Torchic recently has been insistently pecking on my clothes when he's bored and got nothing to do.

*door opens*

"That must be dad!"

Brendan said to his Pokemon, Torchic proceeds to excitedly run to the door.
