The group strided through the dark dungeon. They had been walking for days, with the help of the Blop's experiences in the dungeon, they were able to survive off the monsters it killed.
Luckily for the Blop, it was a win win, a way for it to gain traits and skills, while also making sure his way out of the dungeon doesn't die.
With three days gone, they were finally almost out of the dungeon.
"Haaah, look Tomoe, I see sunlight!" Anna said as she pointed towards the sun excitedly.
They all looked towards that very direction, and Anna was right, the sunlight was reflecting at the end of the tunnel.
'The outside world.' Lumin was captivated.
"My lord, that strange light…up ahead." Alpha chimed in, hers seemed to come from a place of confusion.
'Yes bony, yes, that is the outside world'.
"Okay, I believe we have made it out of the dungeon already, that means our work here is done, is that alright?" Tomoe asked, one leg on a rock as she looked at the Blop, who was settled in the hands of Alpha.
"Sure dude, just glad we were able to make it out of the-"
"Run Anna! This is our chance to escape! Come let's go!!!".
Tomoe didn't waste a single second, she grabbed Anna by the hand and sprinted away until her form disappeared into the sunlight.
'And off they go, sigh, am I really that scary?'.
[The energy around you suggests you are.]
'Shut up, tsk, anyway, let's see what kind of world I was reincarnated into.'
Lumin arched his head up a bit to take a look at Alpha, and he noticed she was dazzled by the light in front of her - the only thing stopping her from running towards it was the fact Lumin hadn't given her the permission to.
'She's really so easy to read'.
The Blop sighed.
"Alpha, let's go to the outside world".
"R…right away my lord!".
Boom!
Alpha charged forward, even faster then she would normally run; the Blop's body structure almost turned inside out.
And then, after a few seconds, Lumin and Alpha were standing outside the massive dungeon.
The world before then was an expanse of beauty and nature. Trees of all lengths took each side of the road, the grass on the ground at a moderate height.
Mountains could be seen from a very far distance, indicating how large they had to be.
But what was even more astounding was how different the energy felt compared to inside the dungeon.
It was fresh.
Refrained.
And even better, felt more easier on Lumin's mana sense, he could see even better, the little details on things became clearer, even things behind him were before his sight.
'Amazing. This looks nothing like the world I remember, I mean, not like I expected it to be, but damn it feels nice.'
"My Lord look, two big skinny thingies in the sky!"
Alpha pointed towards the sky.
Lumin looked up to check, and he noticed, this world had the moon and sun at the same time, one was red, and the other was blue.
'Two sources of light, I guess that's a fantasy world for you. System, I don't want to end up in unwanted territory, so where exactly am I right now?' asked the Blop.
[You are currently in The uncharted path.]
[This place is known to be within the monster territory, it's mostly for creatures on survival. I do not advise staying here unless you wish to devour creatures to get stronger.]
'Hmm, so like a jungle then, wild animals everywhere and stuff, okay then, where should I head to?'.
[From the calculations, a few distance towards the left, there should be a path leading to the next town, there is little to no life there.]
'Hmm, and you know this, how? Always wondered, are you omniscient?' .
[Negative.]
[I simply responded according to the knowledge placed before me by the world.]
'And the world is supposed to be what, the universe?'.
[It would be fair to put it like that.]
'Sigh! Better not stress myself on that. So towards the left… hmm, I'd wish to interact with more people though, but since it's dangerous here, I guess leaving is the safe bet.'
Lumin looked at Alpha.
"Hey, let's head left, this place is too dangerous to hang around in." He voiced out.
"Eh? Does my lord know the outside world too? As expected of my master, he knows everything." Alpha smiled at him, her eyes sparkling with adoration.
Lumin couldn't help but chuckle nervously at her naiveness, but then, he sensed something.
He acted immediately, using its tentacles to swing itself forward a bit -
[Barrier of Aegis.]
A blue barrier formed in front of him, the arrow that came speeding from the forest made an impact with the barrier and immediately sucked into it like a vacuum.
Alpha wasn't slow, she knew they were under attack the moment her master acted.
Her body got swarmed with red energy, her eyes scanning everywhere, and that was when the threats began to show up.
Adventures as they call themselves, stepped out of the forest one by one, each one welding different types of weapons.
First it was two, the five, until eventually, the numbers were overwhelming, they lost count.
But one thing was for certain, they were now surrounded by scary looking humans.
'What the hell is going on here? Why do they look like they seriously want to harm us…no calm down, don't jump into conclusions, they might just be lost bandits, like those girls.'
Lumin scanned everyone's face, and even he couldn't believe his own words. His death sense was flaring up, they meant business.
"Sup humans, why so-"
"Yes that's it! That's the creature that killed Anthony and James! There's it right there!!!".
Lumin recognised that voice.
He turned around to check, and he saw them, Anna and Tomoe, standing behind the group of adventurers while pointing at him and screaming yet again -
"Kill them! I'm so scared, they are monsters, do it now, hurry!!!" She shouted at the top of her voice.
