she will be okay..

Raindrops fall in a symphony of sound,

On a day when the world seems upside down.

A girl sits alone, her heart full of pain,

Missing her love, her heartache plain.

As she looks out, raindrops fall in time,

A beautiful beat, a melody divine.

She rises up, drawn to the rain,

Desperate to feel alive again.

Standing at the window, she gazes above,

Sees the man she loves, lost in love.

He looks at her with eyes so bright,

As if inviting her to join him tonight.

She reaches out, her hand to the sky,

Wishing she could touch him, just one more time.

But she knows it's just an illusion, a dream,

And nothing is ever quite as it seems.

So she stands in the rain, letting it soak her skin,

Hoping it will wash away her pain within.

And as the rain washes her tears away,

She knows in her heart, she'll be okay.
