Five Years!

When bedtime arrived, Link was dying to get his hands and feet free. He's 20 years old in mind, making it an extremely uncomfortable experience.

He stretched himself as he fell asleep.

In the morning, link felt a big strong hand had carried him. The person who was carrying him was smiling in a silly way as he held Link in his arms. The man was equipped with weapons, a bow, and a knife. The man who had suddenly kissed him and his mother was his father, Rao.

So just based on his own assumptions, Link concluded that his father was either a hunter or an adventurer.

link was humoring himself; he had no basis for the adventurer part but from the games and animated shows he used to watch, usually these types of magical worlds would have something like that. He giggled at his ridiculousness.

Little did he know, he wasn't that far off.

Once his father held him in his arms, link felt something warm inside him. This was a feeling he had already long forgotten. losing his father at a young age, missing every second of it.

link felt tears forming in his eyes, with a lump in his throat. He was physically unable to hold it in, he cried for the first time in his new life.

His father rao was confused, and nervous. link starting to cry made him panic.

*"Hey little buddy. i'm daddy, stop crying"* he said playfully, taking a couple minutes for Link to stop.

"Hmph, that was embarrassing. maybe reincarnating here and meeting them is not so bad." link thought to himself, before slowly going back to sleep. just like pooping and crying, he had no control whatsoever.

It has been 5 years since Link reincarnated. As he grew up, he now understood a lot of things, about his family, this village, and the world around him.

The first thing he figured out was about his family, His father was the best hunter of the village, while his mother was a seamstress, thought back then she stopped taking jobs wanting to properly take care of Link, and she did till he grew up a bit and managed to walk and talk.

The second thing was about the village he lived in, It was called 'Toula Village', a part of 'Rechanguard Kingdom'. Being part of the kingdom of Rechanguard the villagers pay taxes to a noble that owns the territory the village is located in. He is a count of the kingdom, a greedy and a disgusting man. Like all the rumored dirty nobles, he was arrogant, taking whatever he wants when he wants it, be it material things or people. The women he forced to serve him were countless, his name is 'Markis'.

But it was a blessing for the village, which is located at the edge of his territory, he never came nor cared about it.

Link also learned that he was living in a pretty large continent. Based on the limited information he gathered, this world seems to be bigger than his previous one. Also, there seems to be races other than humans that live here. Elves, Dwarves, Fairies, Dryads and many more..

These races didn't surprise link so much even though he was interested, he read about them back on earth, either sold as slaves or encountered in dungeons.

But the race that caught his eyes were the demons. Even back home, they represented ugly abominations, beings so evil and twisted that they were unconquerable, many tried to enslave them but failed, either them being too fierce and ending up killing themselves, or not taken seriously and killing their captors. The reason why link was so interested in them was because they looked completely different from what demons looked like in his world.

They looked exactly like humans with the exception of horns of all shapes or sometimes different skin color.

In this world, they are not treated as evil beings. They even have quite friendly interactions with the other races, Based solely on the stories told by his new parents or the village elder.

A war between races hasn't happened for a few hundred years now. The only war that's happening is between the same race. The Rechanguard Kingdom link was living in war with another human kingdom called the Inolid Kingdom. They have been at war for a couple years now, But they only do small skirmishes every now and then.

This was all the information link could gather. He tried to live as a normal kid, not raise any questions.

Link was fully capable of understanding the new language the residents of this world spoke, it's called The Enli Language, and it is the common language used all around the kingdom. link managed to fluently speak, read and write it.

Going to a small building in his village where all the kids would attend to learn. link started a bit earlier than most kids, he wanted to learn all he could, making his parents proud, bragging about his intelligence.

A black-haired youth was sitting on the floor cross legged in the middle of the forest. This boy who had an average face was link, and this was his secret spot where he would practice circulating mana through his body. He's been coming here for 2 month since he got his hands on that book.

Mana circulation is a new skill he acquired, something commonly practiced to increase understanding of a certain element.

Link discovered that everything was different from his old world, which explains the changes in his system.

When practicing, link could feel all six elements, fire, water, earth, wind, darkness, and light. He chose the fire element to collect and circulate in his mana channels, increasing his mana capacity and fire elemental mastery.

He managed to learn this skill when he found a book explaining it's process in one of his fathers bags. due to the system he managed to learn the skill just by touching and holding the book for 20 seconds.

gaining 1 new skill and 6 more new stats in his status screen.

He also discovered the ability to increase his stats without using his LP points. Since he's been trying his best to learn the language and how to read and write it, then learning everything he could about this new world, he got messages informing him of gaining new INT and WIS points, which have led him to deciding not to use his LP points till he understands everything perfectly.

To use chore magic, link needed his elemental stats to be above 5. so he practiced till reaching it, since they later offered the chore magic spells in his school Link was ahead of his peers. After he was done with reaching the required amount to all the elements, he then started focusing on fire, a well known element with plenty of offensive magic spells, that was what he guessed.
