CHAPTER 10:Rip

A week passed as Martha, Carla and lily were chatting as they sat on a wide big cushion made with soft brown fur while James sat on a single decorated wooden with his eyes closed.

Aisha was busy watching over David as he looked at different drawings with great interest.

"mama! we are set" Elden rushed out in a white shirt with a yellow line striped down the long sleeves tucked in a black trouser.

while Eden followed behind him wearing the same shirt and a skirt.

"don't cause too much trouble and remember to always write okay" Martha hugged the two as she smiled warmly caressing their hair.

"don't worry mama we will be fine we promise" Eden said as she hugged her mother back.

"yeah I also promise to protect Eden since I'm a man" Elden gave a confident smile as he hugged Martha tightly as the feeling of leaving his mother alone weighed his heart down.

"you have grown to be dependable, make sure you take care of your sister" Martha finally released them as she caressed their cheeks.

Elden nodded as he hummed "wow my two cute nephew and niece are gonna go to a prestigious academy and it seems they look so amazing"

I'm sure they are gonna be one of the best no the greatest student to be at the academy since my two cuties are specially talented" lily said happily as she patted the twins.

"if you need anything don't hesitate to get in contact" Carla said from the side.

"mhm thank you great aunt lily and aunt Carla I will make sure to always be in contact" Elden spoke up "yes me and Elden will make sure to write lots of letters" Eden said as she felt curious but nervous at the same time.

"Good it seems you are ready to go, the carriage is waiting and make sure to bring glory to the Wayne's" James finally spoke out as he looked at the two with happiness filling his tone.

"save travels young master Elden and lady Eden" Aisha bowed slightly.

"mhm please take care of my cousin" Eden and Elden walked to a finely decorated carriage been pulled by two horses with the Wayne's name embedded on it making it give a royalty vibe.

they all waved until the carriage finally went out of sight as tears rolled down Martha's cheek "I wish their father was here to see them" she wiped the tears away as she stood proud at her two kids for having great courage.

'goodluck you two' David waved too as looked back at the beast drawings and skill scrolls 'i still have four years before I can begin my training although I don't know what we will be doing but it shouldn't be that hard' he thought hard as he soon fell asleep.

Four years passed by quickly as David looked into the mirror with a nervous expression "I'm sure it's not going to be that bad right" he tried to assure himself.

"young master are you ready" Aisha looked worried but hid her expression.

"Aisha if I don't make it back I just want you to know I ate the biscuits you kept in the wardrobe" David spoke with a serious expression as he looked at his two hands.

"huh uh I know that already young master " Aisha chuckled as she cover her mouth.

"okay I'm ready" David seemed to gather some confidence as he raised his two hands signalling for Aisha to carry him.

they both went to the field where James with a small brown sack and the others with a few maids waited.

"awww little wumple is going to become a man soon" lily hugged David as she lifted him from Aisha.

"mhm my little boy is going to be a man soon" Carla said as she caressed his black curly hair making him feel so comfortable.

"alright let's go kiddo" James threw David in the air as he caught him putting him on his shoulder.

"Ahhhh" David screamed out as he felt his heart about to jump out from his mouth 'this old man wants to kill a five year old' he looked at his mother with an expression that yelled helped me please.

lily chuckled seeing his look as Carla went closer to him kissing his forehead "don't worry it's gonna be alright" then she looked at James as she bowed her head "please take care of him"

"I promise I will, we are going now" James said stretching his hand as a green ring in his finger shimmered opening up a portal "we will be back in 2-3 years time".

James entered the portal as it closed up leaving a sweet scent behind "I'm sure your son has a unique path ahead of him that's why he needs to be trained earlier" lily stood beside Carla as she smiled.

"I understand David is different that's why I won't hold his delay his destiny just because of my selfishness" Carla said determined as Martha too stood beside her.

"I also know Aisha will see to his needs" lily smiled as she remembered when Aisha entered David's shadow.

"mhm I trust her" Carla nodded in approval.

'Rip David Wayne it was nice knowing you' David thought as he looked dreadfully at the dense forest and the oversized vultures fighting over an adult deer in the hair as they ripped it into pieces.

"welcome to the millennial forest kiddo, this is where we begin your training" James smiled as he walked towards a mountain with a blue top.

looking up at the mountain it seemed impossible to climb as the sides were muddy but looked rather neat 'i wonder how great uncle james is gonna climb it I'm sure he isn't going ehehe'.

'Impossible!' David held onto James head tightly as he tried not to look down while James sprinted to the top like it was child's play.

they finally got to the top in less than 45 minutes as David got down from James feeling the blue grass that felt like it had springs between them.

"wow" David said astonishly as he looked view below feeling intense excitement.

"yeah I know right it's amazing" James kneeled down as he patted his head "can you surpass your fear first".

"I don't know" David answered still at the view.

"uh I see then we will just have to remove fear from you first" James said with a serious expression.

"how ca.." about to ask his question he gets pushed off the top of the mountain as he looked in disbelief 'i guess it's really Rip'
