"Good morning Mrs Cheng." Lee greeted awkwardly and winced when Mrs Cheng glared at him.
He had known that this was going to happen, she would automatically believe that because he was with Jie then he had to have been the cause of her son's troubles when Jie had actually got drunk and into a fight all by himself.
People always just assumed that he was a troublemaker simply because he liked to have fun, he was tired of trying to convince people that he was a lover and not a fighter. Now he wished that he had not even picked up Jie's phone in the first place, he would not have to deal with these unfriendly glares he was getting from from Jie's family.
As he held Jie with the help of the butler, Jie hit his hand but did not even feel it. At this point when he woke up he would be a mass of bruises, apparently he had even fought with someone at the jail.
