"The test show that you are three months pregnant." Dr Fan said with a gentle smile.

Nitzan gasped and covered her mouth in shock while staring unbelieving at him. She wanted to be sure that she had really heard what he had just said.

"Did you just say that I am pregnant?" She asked and a twinge of concern and confusion appeared in the doctor's eyes who thought that she might be unhappy that she was with child after all she had not yet married but since she had a fiancé, the news of a pregnancy should not be so bad.

"Yes, you are three months gone." He repeated, even though not as enthusiastically as he had said the first time.

Nitzan yelped loudly and jumped up in excitement and danced around while the doctor took a breath of relief and smiled at her exuberance.

"You are going to need to visit the hospital regularly for checkups and antenatal. I will prescribe vitamins that will keep you and the little one healthy." He said and she nodded happily.

It had not even occurred to her that that night three months ago would yield so beautiful results.she had assumed that the disappearance of her monthly period was as a result of the stress from planning what was going to be the biggest wedding ceremony Osmanthus had seen.

She had just been too preoccupied to put two and two together but after she had fainted yesterday, Bing had insisted that she go to the hospital and see what was really wrong with her.

Shd could barely contain her excitement as she impatiently waited for the doctor to write out the prescription and hand it over to her. This pregnancy meant that Cheng Jie was tied to her forever and he could never leave, his family would also be so excited and she was sure that immediately she showed his grandmother the pregnancy results she would be sure to insist on them rushing the wedding forward.

Thanks to this new development it was important that the marriage which was slated for the next two months be hurried up because she wanted to get married in a pretty dress and if they took too long she would start showing and then be forced to wear some ugly dress that would ruin the wedding pictures.

After she collected the prescription and was headed down to the pharmacy, she dialed Bing's phone number and pouted when it rang and she did not pick up. She was the first person that Nitzab wanted to share this very important news with.

After trying a couple of times and not getting an answer, she decided to call the office assistant assistant and on the first ring she picked up.

"Hello, I have been trying to get a hold of Bing all day, could you look in her office and ask her to call me back?"

"I'm sorry Miss Nitzan but Miss Bing is not at work right now, she complained of a headache and left almost an hour ago." The assistant explained answered and Nitzan frowned.

"Thank you." She said and ended the call, wondering if Bing was okay.

She decided that since she was done with the hospital then she might as well just go to Bing's apartment and see that she was doing okay and also give her the good news.

They needed to celebrate this achievement. It was all thanks to Bing that she had this baby in her belly, if she had not helped her drug Jie and sleep with him he would not have been forced to marry her by his family.

Jumping in her shiny red corvette, she headed to the apartment building where Bing lived while she mused on the fact that soon she would have to change her beloved car to something which could house a car seat for the baby but it was a sacrifice that was absolutely worth it.

If there was one thing that Nitzan had wanted for most of her life it was a family of her own. Since unfortunately both of her parents had died when their private jet crashed when she was just thirteen. Since then she had been overcome by loneliness and wished for people that she could shower all her love on and it seemed that now at last she would finally have everything that she wished for, a husband that everyone admired and a little baby which was hopefully the first of many more.

When she got to the apartment's parking lot, she saw that Bing's car was parked in her usual spot so she got into the elevator, stopped at her floor and let herself in the apartment using the spare key that she had been given by Bing. The house was so neat with everything in its rightful place and Nitzan chuckled softly.

The house was so different from Nitzan's own room house which almost always looked like a hurricane with its messiness despite having an army of staff. One could say that Nitzan was a spoiled girl who had never learnt to clean up after herself thanks to the fact that she had always had maids at her disposal while Bing had been raised by a poor single mother and had to do everything for herself.

Seeing as the living room and home office were empty, she headed towards the master bedroom in search of her and she heard voices coming out from there. She drew closer and listened curiously as she wondered who Bing was speaking with, the voice was muted but it sounded like a man.

It shocked her to say the least to hear a man's voice coming from her friend's bedroom. Bing was notoriously anti boyfriend, she chose instead to concentrate on her studies then work. Nitzan felt betrayed that her best friend who she told everything to was seeing someone and had never told her and despite knowing it was wrong, she eavesdropped on their conversation.

"You say that you love me but you still haven't called off the wedding. Nitzan is so busy planning the wedding, Jie you have to end it with her and make our relationship own official."

Nitzan's face went white and she abruptly backed away from the door when she heard what Bing had just said.

"CRASH!!!!"

The noise as a vase fell down to the ground and shattered after she accidentally backed into it disrupted the peacefulness of the apartment and she heard Bing's sharp voice demand,

"Who is there!"

Then there was loud thud as if someone jumped off the bed and then footsteps. Nitzan could not bear to look at the faces of those betrayers so she immediately took off running.

As she ran out of the door in her high heels, she heard footsteps behind her but she did not turn to look at who was coming after her and instead of going to the elevator where they could easily catch up with her, she opted to take the stairs. The next thing she knew, there were hands on her back pushing her forward and she toppled and fell all the way down to the bottom of the steps and everything went black.
