He spent his last Chrono (the currency in “Deck Destroyer”) and suddenly opened a secret card. “The Deck God” when Noah went to look out the window he found himself falling to his demise. Cold as ice

A blizzard swept up in front of me before she tossed her Lance straight at me, I dodged the Lance and used mana web to wrap it in mana string. I reversed it and tossed it right back at her. She just caught it…well I'm running out of creative ideas so I'm just going to play dirty now. I gathered a large amount of dark mana into my sword and activated red lariat. The dark mana combined with red lariat making a surge of black and green lighting around the tip of my blade.

I used mana web to temporarily immobilize her and plunged my sword straight into her gut, flashes of black and green lighting exploding inside a single small explosion. Which blasted her through the forest and onto the plains. I used mana web to slingshot myself in the air and flung myself so I was overhead of her. I grabbed a card from worlds deck, "Starfall". A flashing golden light cloaked my blade and myself as I plunged straight down at her, my golden cloaked blade collided with her ice Lance as the raging stars that cloaked my body shooting me down against her Lance.

She had a look of frustration on her face before I managed to break through her Lance, shattering it in half as an explosion of starry light exerted from my landing position. I panted as I kneeled in the crater I had created, that was…tiring. I used heal on myself and looked at her, she seemed to be in shock as she held half of her broken Lance. "You…you'll pay for that!"

She stared at me before raising her hand in the sky and started to chant something "For the icy cold that never falters, the darkest night that never falls, and the brightest sun that never dies, I call upon you, BLUE ROSE!" Another large blizzard swept up in front of her and she was now holding a blue ice great sword. "Ah sh*t…"

I stared at her for a good second, before getting the hell out of there. Of course it was a a trap. I enhanced my speed using dark mana and used mana web to cover the steps I made by webbing through the trees when she ran after me she got caught up in the web. I smiled and combined red lariat and my dark mana before infusing it into my finger before flicking one of the strings. Which caused a chain reaction through the mana webbing which electrocuted her pretty hard. It wasn't going to be enough. I retracted the mana web only to see her come out completely unscathed. Is it not enough?

She held her sword to my neck as I fell to the floor. "Sh*t" I was exhausted, I had overworked myself way too much for just two fights. I tried to lift my sword to fight back but I couldn't. [Status: Immobilized, Exhaustion] no this isn't right…no no no. I don't accept this goddamnit! She looked at me with a certain glare in her eyes…pity?

She sighed before speaking. "I don't know how you became so strong so fast but if you truly think that amount of time can make you the strongest in this academy you're surely mistaken. Nobody becomes the strongest overnight." She swung her sword and decapitated in my head. Of course I woke up back in the waiting room. Like I always did…

Ugh I could still feel the cold blade running across my neck. I stood up and ran my finger across my neck, ugh that feeling is odd…it wasn't death but it felt similar. The thing I hate the most if that she was right. I'm not some kind of protagonist in a tv show or movie. I'm just some guy…who got some second chance. I was the wrong guy to get that chance. Should've given it so some hotshot dreamy guy at the end of the world who "failed to save his friends or family or something".

My sword was once again two black gloves on my hands, and the bracelet on my hands still had that ominous glow. I don't think I should stay here any longer. I stood up and made my way out of the building, I spotted the kids that were eliminated early standing in the middle of the hall probably talking to their parents or something. And suddenly once I made a single noise all eyes were on me.

As I walked through the crowded hall the atmosphere had gotten quieter but the silence was so loud, I could feel their eyes, their thoughts, their whispers. It was suffocating how quiet it was, like they were drowning me with their thoughts. I quickly walked out of the building and to the dorms.

I clenched my fist as I walked to the dorms. I thought I would've gotten accepted this time, as a friend, as a person, as a hero. But I'm just seen as some kind of monster they think I must've sold my soul to the devil. Maybe it would've been better to stay in that future. Though my life sucked at least I had some closure…deck destroyers is only a 1.0 version currently…I should go…maybe see my family. The one I abandoned, even if I didn't mean to.

Once I got to my dorm I started to pack my things. The event must've ended because my phone was getting notifications from Angelica and Blake. I simply turned on do not disturb and put it in my pocket stuffing my clothes into two duffel bags. I only brought two other things. My laptop, and a charger for my laptop. Didn't exactly need a phone charger.

I sighed and opened my phone to check when the bus going in and out of New York to here. The next one was in 20 minutes…I put on a hoodie grabbed my bags and left. I didn't go through the door and instead used mana web to get out through the window. I was on the third floor I think…I planted my feet into the wall as I rode the wall down to the ground, I landed fine and began walking to the bus stop. It was gonna be a pretty long walk so I just slingshotted myself across the campus. I used mana web and flung myself right on top of the bus stop and hopped off the cover.

I sat down at the bus stop and looked at my phone, there was some pretty stupid sh*t on the internet in the future. It's good to know it's not as bad as it was in a couple of years from now. I can still remember that horrid imagery. I shuddered and waited for the bus.

Through the pouring rain I saw the headlights of the bus approaching the stop. I was the only one there. The bus stopped and I got on, nobody had come or gone from the academy except me. I handed the bus driver a tip and sat in the back of the bus leaning my head against the window and putting my earbuds in listening to whatever music I listened to right now. I ended up falling asleep on the bus.

Unfortunately for me I woke up to the bus flipped over in a raging fire. I rubbed my eyes. Hmm…well this is certainly a rude awakening. I smashed open the window and climbed out through there. I stood on the "top" of the bus and looked out to complete anarchy. Looks like there was a gate break. That's whenever a gate is unstable after not being cleared for a week or two the monsters flood out. It looked like some basic wolves and lizards.

I yawned as I saw the bus driver about to be ripped to shreds by a pack of silver horned wolves. I transformed one of my gloves into a spear and rushed towards him and killed the wolves. The guy kinda just got the hell out of there. I started at his back as he ran. I respect that. I gave him a thumbs up before I stomped out a wolf that was biting my leg.

How exhilarating.
