Chapter CXXXIV - Ramshackle Group
"I just joined; why do you want me to come along?" Kaela asked.
Marcus nodded and smiled, "Well, my plan was for you to become part of my Elite Squad; as such, you're here to be my personal guard during this expedition." He nonchalantly replied.
"Bu-" She asked, being interrupted by Mawu, "We had no plans to head to the North, why would you include us?"
"Well, you're a Beast Master, yet you only have the one monster tamed. Where we're headed, you will be able to add a few more to increase your power. Lisa won't be with us for the entire journey. She'll be heading to Elfheim to complete her quest with some additional help." Marcus explained; as he was about to proceed further, a frantic knock was heard at the door.
"Raia, let them in." Marcus said, knowing exactly who had arrived. Raia did as instructed, letting Harith, Rahl, Syrenis, and the Crown Prince, Jacob, into the office. She closed the door behind them, taking her place at her small desk in the corner.
