Chapter CXIV - A Challenger Appears
Merac exited the Guild Hall and quickly rushed out of Sterling City. His Guild, Harmonious Requiem, was located in a city situated on the continent's eastern edge, stationed high on a cliffside overlooking the docks and beaches far below.
It was not quite as large as Sterling, but it was far more immersed in various cultures. If it were not for Marcus and The Phantoms, the massive settlement of Humans would have remained as such, maintaining the blatant classism and racism running rampant.
Their intervention with their recruitment had flooded the city with the numerous races throughout the Continent of Light. This caused a lot of strife throughout the city, but the growing pains were slowly breaking that outdated stigma.
Before departing, Merac entered a tavern near the Eastern Gate and rejoined his companions who accompanied him for the Auction.
"Let's go!" Merac declared, and everyone nodded, agreeing, and they all quickly exited the tavern, rushing out of the Eastern Gate.
