He explored the towns library and any books he could find in his Clan even if they were useless. Years on years of doing such things eventually led him into stumbling across a book that would help push him towards the thing he wanted the most. "The Basic Guide To The Astral Path" This book may not of been special to anyone in the long run but, it was to him because, it was his new beginning. With this new path available to him would he be able to push through all the obstacles and hardships waiting for him or in the end will he stumble and fall? A Force Of Nature

Standing over corpses that were littered around the ground Aeon had blood covering half of his body. In the middle of the night he stood with his back up against his partner as the two breathed in unison. With everyone out of their way now they could finally get out of this hell. They had just stolen from one of the top clans in the area and were trying to escape. They had unknowingly set off an alarm that Aeon didn't notice at first. After alerting the entire Clan grounds he grabbed Katrin and ran in any direction that led to safety. In crime they might have been skilled but with fighting they lacked greatly compared to most.

"You okay Katrin?"

"I'm fine."

Taking a second to catch their breaths Aeon looked around to see if anyone else was pursuing them. Once he found no one else he grabbed Katrin's hand and dragged her off into the cover of the night forest. Once they were further away from all the blood Aeon dropped his guard as he brought out the things he stole from them. In his ring he pulled out two swords that caught his eye along with a bunch of other Astral stones, Crystals, a few basic techniques, books and finally the big thing they were after. "The technique created by the Master of the clan himself." A created technique like this was priceless to anyone and something most never even got a glimpse at.

"Here you go Katrin, we got what you were after, I thought you might like the sword as well. They're a pair with this one as well so I thought it fit us.."

Handing the sheet of paper and sword over to Katrin, he watched her take them from his hands with a smile. The only reason he bothered risking such a job tonight was because this was something Katrin personally wanted. He didn't know exactly why but the details didn't matter to him. He just wanted her happy regardless of the risks he had to take to do so. Feeling them leave his hands he looked at her with his usual smile as he turned to check his surroundings again. After this they would go back to the city and hide away for a little bit together. "Some alone time together sounds nice." It had been some time since they got to spend time together.

"Aeon."

Feeling a slight chill run through his blood, Aeon looked back at Katrin.

"What's up, my love?"

That chill grew stronger inside of him but Aeon stayed calm as he looked at her.

"I think this is where we part ways."

"Huh...?"

Not sure if he heard her right he looked her in the eyes as his body trembled. He felt himself shake slightly where he stood as Katrin looked at him peacefully. There was no more emotion in her voice like before. She sounded like she was just speaking lines from a script she wrote down but she continued ignoring his confusion. "It still hurts even now." Remembering that time Aeon felt sadness wash over him but the memory didn't stop. Like a storm she crashed into him full force with no stopping or hesitation. Just the pure force of nature coming at him with nothing he could do.

"This life isn't for me anymore Aeon. We've grown together and now I think it's time we move on. There's so much more to life that I've missed because of this and I'm tired of it. Always killing, always running, I've grown tired of it and so this is where I say my goodbyes."

Like a bolt of lightning Aeon panicked trying to say something but he couldn't. He was forced to watch as she pulled out a Crystal that was similar to the one he had seen in tonight's attack. Holding the crystal out for him to see he studied it for a couple seconds with some curiosity. He had no idea in the next few seconds he would lose the love of his life and be hunted down like a dog from then on. Trying to do anything he watched as she slowly crushed that crystal. Watching her slowly begin to disappear from his sight Aeon exploded in Astral Energy as he did anything he could to keep her from leaving.

"Bye."

"Katrin!!!!!!!!!!"

Sadly the only thing he could grab onto was the faint smell of her perfume as she disappeared forever. Falling over he shouted into the night as he slammed the ground where she was standing. Pain filled his entire body and his mind was in pieces. He scanned the area like crazy for her energy but even with the vast range he could reach he found no traces of her. "Makes sense after all, that crystal transports you to a specific location." That was something he learned a lot later though. Stuck in his own head that night he beat the ground until the grass disappeared completely and his hands turned red with blood. He scraped and punched trying to do anything he could to just do something but his legs wouldn't move. Like that he no longer cared about anything until eventually he collapsed in defeat and exhaustion.

"I'm sorry but this is the best option for her."

Rubbing her stomach Katrin appeared in an old building as she thought about the child growing in her stomach.

"I'm home once more...Mother."

Stuck in painful memories Aeon sighed as he heard the sounds of voices calling to him once more, bringing him back to reality. Looking around the room he saw Xilo and his little group leaving the room to give Tearia some space to work alone. Quickly following them he centered in on that crystal he saw earlier from that man as he wiped a bit of sweat from his cheek. Entering the hallway he looked at the small group in front of him wondering what to do now.

"I want to talk about something after Tearia's done."

All these late ones from me this week, haaa... I'll be better about it again soon. Sorry :c
