The City of Algoria.

The streets of Algoria are filled with promoters and food stand owners.

The two boys silently walking alongside one another.

''You know, I want to be the guardian of this city one day.'' Apollo suddenly expressed, ''No matter the status or race, the rich and the poor, i want to be the one they rely on when they need Saviour.''

''Like a knight.''

Amari gives him a comedic look.

''You're nothing like knight.'' jokes Amari.

''I didn't ask for your opinion jerk!!''

''You're more like a superhero.'' Amari adds

''Isn't that the same thing?''

''I always thought a knight fights for the king and queen more than fighting for everyone and a superhero uses your philosophy more, you know...fighting for everyone no matter their status.''

''Idiot, a superhero and a knight are the same thing they are both look badass while killing bad guys.'' Apollo says as he pulls a superhero stand.

Apollo signals that he is heading the different direction, and they do a handshake to say their goodbyes.

''See you later?''

Amari nods than walked the other direction.

...

As Amari takes a stroll amongst the many people with the business district.

Negotiations between the merchants and consumers is at its heights during this time of the day at least until later this evening.

Amari observes the people around him with admiration, he admires the beauty that comes with this side of the city.

Children galivanting and are full of joy. Couples attending diners, drunkards celebrating life by singing and dancing to wherever, gamblers shouting vigorously at each other while on the contrary businessmen are discussing their topics in a calm and professional manner.

The illumination of store lights bright as they not only promote their respective stores but also add life towards the city itself.

This never failed to amaze Amari.

Amari grins, ''This City, it's just Beautiful.'' he whispers

He then approaches a small bridge that leads to the side of the city that Amari despises most.

Hillside Valley.

This side of town contradicts everything that Amari just admired.

As he walked across the bridge, the light started fading further as he walked deeper in the valley.

The streets smelt rotten with dead rats lying on sidewalks including addicts that reek with the smell of drainage amongst them.

He passes two addicts fighting over Virgo (A drug that makes the user become full of energy and is highly addictive). The two men are causing a lot of damage towards one another, but they didn't seem to notice.

There was a young lady lying on the middle of the road Amari wasn't even sure if she was dead or not.

After a while he then reaches his destination which is excluded from most of the valley. It's located behind large trees that are close to a slow river stream; He always enjoys the sound of the stream and smell of trees; this distracted him from his living condition and made him feel as if he was also part of the people on the other side of the city, The good side.

His arrives at a tree that's with the biggest tree bark carved with the initials 'C. A. A' (which stands for Conrad Apollo Amari), jumps up the tree entering his tree house.

He takes off his shoes and turns on the lights by using one his artifacts and opens the roof top to daydream while staring at the night sky filled with stars.

Minutes later he hears a whistle in a pattern he recognizes.

He stretches his neck out the window to see Apollo standing with his out wide holding food containers in both hands.

Amari throws down the rope for him to use it and climb up.

Unable to use his hands Apollo grips the rope with his legs and struggles to move up but ends up doing so.

He enters while Amari is busy cleaning and setting the room neatly.

'' Would've appreciated some help with these.'' insinuates Apollo as he throws the containers on the table.

'' Sorry, I was trying to clean up.''

unexpectedly Apollo smacks him on the head.

Suddenly Conrad appears on some sort of flying object. '' YO!''

The other two stare at object confused.

''Oh, it's one of the Artificial Artifacts that's still in works, so I stole it to check it out.'' answers Conrad.

Both Amari and Apollo shrug it off.

'' The weathers nice outside, I was thinking maybe we should eat at the riverbank.'' Conrad suggests.

The boys agree than head out to the riverbank and set out a blanket that Conrad brought and pull out the food stored in the containers they were carrying.

The boys enjoy their food with silence. Complimenting one another's food with murmurs of approval and loud chewing.

'' Guys, I think II like Ms. Laurant.'' Conrad expresses as he licks the meat grease off his fingers.

The other suddenly stop chewing their food and slowly turn their attention towards Conrad.

''Okay?'' they answer in unison.

''I'm sorry but I had to get it out of my chest! because I've holding it in for way too long... I love her okay!''

''You do realize you're twelve, right?'' Apollo asks with concern.

''You don't have to remind me of that!!''

''So, what are you going to about it?'' Amari asks

''What the fuck?''

''Nothing, it's just wanted to tell you guys so we can go to the grave with it, by the way which teacher do you guys have a crush on? Apollo?''

Apollo keeps quiet because he is perplexed by the question.

''Come on, don't act as if you've never looked at a teacher or someone older than you are at least once.''

''No... No, I didn't. Weirdo.''

''I always thought Aunt Dahlila was kind of cool.''

''Who now?''

''The granny that cleans at school?'' Conrad asks

''Yeah... her'' Answer Amari

''Okay!! never thought you'd go for someone that old, but a man has his taste.'' Conrad approves.

''Amari.'' Apollo sighs "You need help!''

''Why? I mean she always treats me well and teaches me about things I don't know about the country, I think it's cool... she's like my real aunt, you know?''

''Oh? it's like that?''

The boys laugh it off and carried on feasting.

Amari starts thinking how special this moment is to him. To him these two are his brothers, they are his family.
