After Earth's destruction, its only survivor, a now eighteen years old boy, named Akin Damijo, finds himself in the middle of a galactic war. Once a victim of cowardliness, he will rise to be a hero. Follow Akin on his journey, seeing step by step how he became a legend in the galaxy. Akin was exactly five years old, when he saw from a distance his family and planet being destroyed in front of him. At eighteen, he joined the Galactic Foundation of Catoq, a central organization in the Milky Way that acts as an observer government. The Catoq wars were taking place at the time, similar to the first and second world wars at Earth, but on a universal scale. At twenty-one, he finds himself in the midst of a war far more complicated than imagined. Betrayals, friendships, corruption, he will deal with all this if he wants to save his friends, family and the galaxy. NOTE-. What They Wanted

"Who the hell is Hamuswan?" Captain Sonomott asked. "I have no idea, sir." Akin replied. "But they mentioned that this person helped them with many ship thefts in the sector."

"Okay," said the captain. "Let's go to the navigation room first. I know the foundation can find this Hamuswan."

Behind some metal boxes in the hall, the 6th class hid, hoping that the pirates would leave soon. They didn't. With a quick pull of his weapon, Galeg aims for the nearest pirate in his direction, firing a huge ball of energy at the pirate's skull. He was followed by Camare and Vantner, taking down all the pirates in the main hall. The Athorian smiled, proud of himself.

"Did I say you should shoot them down?" The captain asked in a harsh voice. "I thought it would be smart to take them down as soon as possible, sir." Galeg said smiling.

"DID I SAY YOU SHOULD SHOOT THEM DOWN?!" The captain asked again shouting. "No sir." He replied nervously.

"You have a captain to follow orders, not a clown to make you laugh or smile. Do you understand?" Captain Sonomott asked, pointing his finger at Galeg's face. "Yes sir." Galeg replied. A human was shouting at him and, he didn't like it.

"Next time, wait until I tell you to shoot them. We could have taken them down in hiding." He said. "The same goes for both of you. Know that this will be shown on your forms."

"If we get out of here alive." Blavius said. "We will, kid." Captain Sonomott said cautiously. "We will."

The noise of the energy weapons alerted the rest of the pirate crew. They were entering the main hall, this time thirty or even forty people armed to the teeth. They no longer had the element of surprise. "You see that one guy, on left?" Captain Sonomott asked directly to Akin. "Yes, sir." He answered. "You'll need to take him down. He has a jadaronian energy rifle from the Pamini I Sector." The Captain completed. "I thought it had been prohibited." Partia said. "They are pirates, Partia. It's not like they'll follow the Foundation's orders." Veiggo answered.

"Ready?" The Captain asked. Akin answered nodding his head.

"NOW!" He screamed. Getting up quickly, Akin dropped the sniper with two shots, the first without hitting the pirate. He was soon followed by the others, taking them one by one, hiding behind the metal boxes and shooting at the pirates again. If someone told them what had just happened, no one would believe it. But now, they had just dropped more than forty-six people in a single row.

Blavius, who had never killed anyone before that shooting, had the most deaths among the 6th class, twenty-four pirates killed. Now, it was time to get to the navigation room.

Running as fast as they could, the 6th class crew stood in front of the navigation room door. It was heavily crushed on the sides and scratched in the middle. The Captain getting ready to open it with his card.

"Sir?" Avey asked. "What is it, Avey?" He asked her. "What about Fan'del?" She asked worriedly.

Fan'del, that's right. They were so focused on entering the navigation room that they completely forgot about him. "He's in the infirmary. He must be locked in the room like those other people we've seen before." Captain Sonomott said. "Don't worry, kid. We'll get him after we call the Foundation."

And suddenly, a huge noise and once again, the ship bounces completely, knocking everyone to the ground. Akin gets up quickly, accompanied by Avey. The two then access the navigation room with the captain's card, which had been thrown to the ground. The room was empty. All the people present were dead and lying on the floor or their floating chairs.

The two ran to the window, seeing the ship the pirates were using, retreating from the side of the students' ship. And then, they ran away. Without leaving a single trace behind. Using the newly developed space jumping technology, the pirates left. One thing was clear to everyone in the room.

The invaders got what they wanted.
