Quantum Order

After Earth's destruction, its only survivor, a now eighteen years old boy, named Akin Damijo, finds himself in the middle of a galactic war. With a huge conspiracy surrounding the Galactic Foundation, it is time for someone to prevent the greatest of evils. He will show the galaxy that he can be more than "The Last Human." Once a victim of cowardliness, he will rise to be a hero. Follow Akin on his journey, seeing step by step how he became a legend in the galaxy. Akin was exactly five years old, when he saw from a distance his family and planet being destroyed in front of him. At eighteen, he joined the Galactic Foundation of Catoq, a central organization in the Milky Way that acts as an observer government. The Catoq wars were taking place at the time, similar to the first and second world wars at Earth, but on a universal scale. At twenty-one, he finds himself in the midst of a war far more complicated than imagined. Betrayals, friendships, corruption, he will deal with all this if he wants to save his friends, family and the galaxy. NOTE-. The Armor

Milky Way Date: Year 3752, Famona 22th, Galactic Foundation of Catoq Calendar (3752, G.F.C.C); Year 2038, September 22th, After The Great Disaster (2038, A.G.D)

Milky Way Location: The Unexplored Sector

Planet: Unknown

The armor was outside the ship, still and in the same position as before. Its colors were vivid, but worn, with scratches probably from previous battles. The afternoon was different from normal, instead of cloudy weather, the sun illuminated the entire place where they were. The shadows of the big trees hung around.

"Won't you tell me how you found out about all this?" Akin asked. Revius approached the armor, touching it lightly on the shoulder. "Just like you, boy." He said as he pressed a button on the armor helmet. "Using a communicator. The rest, however, is a secret."

The yellowish orange resin started to become a stronger color and Revius removed his hand from the helmet. "JK-11!" he said sharply. The armor then turned, alone, looking directly at the man. "Yes sir?" JK-11 asked. Revius peeked back, looking at Akin for a moment. "As of today, you are owned by Akin Weaving Damijo. No one, except this boy, is allowed to use him for any purpose."

The armor seemed to be thinking, the artificial intelligence present in it must be one of the most advanced that Akin had ever seen in his life. Not even the Foundation had such a thing. JK-11 then walked, stopping in front of the boy, who remained in the same spot behind Revius. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Akin Weaving Damijo." Akin smiled, impressed by what he saw. "The pleasure is mine, JK-11. Only Akin is good enough." He said.

"Akin," Revius said. "If you are not comfortable with its name or anything else, feel free to change." "It's possible?" The boy asked raising his eyebrows. "Yes, it is quite possible, Mr. Damijo. In fact, we are programmed to accept requests from our users. We are one hundred percent personalized the way you want us to be." JK-11 replied.

"So, I would like to change your name." Akin said thoughtfully. "Anything else sir?" JK-11 asked, the wind swaying the fabric that covered it in an x-shape between his back and chest, down to his feet. "Not for now." He said.

"Resetting previous name and data... Done." It said. "Would you like to register the new name now, sir?"

The boy was thoughtful, what name would be good enough for the armor in front of him, he wondered. He then had an idea. "Register the name D3-TO." The armor remained still, facing Akin. "Registering new name... D3-TO registered." It said. "It's a pleasure to meet you again, sir. My name is D3-TO."

"Did you just refer that golden robot from that story you keep talking about?" Revius asked, incredulous. Akin looked at him, laughing. "Let's say, yes."

"Open it." Akin said. D3 then began to open the itself, the chest open to the sides revealing the interior of the armor. The helmet's resin began to shrink and fit into an armor compartment, while the arms and legs parted open, revealing the inside of that part.

Akin then turned on his back, entering the armor with the icy interior. D3 then started to close arms, legs, chest and abdomen. The resin previously stuck in the compartment at the rear, returned to its place, finishing the helmet. Akin looked at his hands, now metallic from the armor. He looked at his palms and upper part, looking at his legs and then at Revius, who was smiling. "You're lookin' good, kid." Revius said with his arms crossed.

"So, the official name is Quantum Armor or something?" Akin asked as he looked at his reflection in the lake. "No, we just call it armor." Revius replied. "Try to use the armor interface, you can access the systems and use everything you used to do on your wrist computer." "D3, show me the interface." Suddenly, a blue hologram appeared in front of Akin's face, inside the armor. Unlike the wrist computer, the control here was neural, Akin was able to choose what he would like to read or see more quickly.

"You may have noticed that you have an energy pistol strapped to your shoulder. You just need to think about wanting to use the pistol, that it will slide through the small opening in the armor arm and land right in your hand." Revius said demonstrating to Akin. "Like the interface, you also share neural control with the slider."

Akin concentrated, thinking of having the pistol in his hands. With a quick movement, the energy pistol slid between the opening with small turns, stopping in the boy's hand, ready to be fired.

"I think it's time for you to learn how to use the jetpack." Akin immediately turned his head to Revius, the resin would not let him appear, but his face was completely confused. "Jetpack?" He asked. "Are you telling me that I can fly like Iron Man? But, I thought the Foundation had said that it was technically impossible to make a functional jetpack for this type of armor."

"Their type of armor, boy. Mine uses a completely different technology, the Forgers have given us a hand, but I can proudly say that we made most of the equipment." Said Revius, hands on hips. "So, do you want to test it?" "Of course!"

"Do I also have a neural link with this?" Akin asked. "Almost." Revius said. "The jetpack is present, but on the back of the armor, you only need to connect it via the interface. Your feet and hands also have thrusters that will help you if it is difficult to maintain balance during flight."

Akin then opened the jetpack interface, turning it on. It was very small, somewhat cylindrical, attached to something square. The fire began to spread across the ground, and the pressure made Akin start flying, low, but he was still flying. He would celebrate, if he wasn't afraid to end up killing himself, unintentionally. He also started the thrusters on foot and by hand and forced full power, much to Revius' surprise, who didn't even have time to react and tell him to stop.

The boy must have been thousands of feet from the ground now, and now he was screaming inside his armor. He was literally flying. He did some maneuvers through the air, as if he were playing, just as Veiggo had done, but decided not to go too far for fear of being killed by some giant worm.

He then thought that he could finally leave this planet and continued to climb. It went up, up and up, and it looked like it could finally get off that horrible planet.

"Warning, motors, batteries and backup power off." D3 said before becoming completely silent. The armor, once lit, was completely dark and then started to fall. "My God! No, no, no, F*CK!" Akin screamed, spinning desperately at an abnormal speed as he sank into the air.

He fell several times, trying in vain to open the armor interface. "D3! D3! D3 YOU SON OF A B*TCH!" Finally, it hit the ground, cracking the rocky terrain and destroying the surrounding muddy terrain. For a moment, the boy thought he was dead, until he realized he was still alive and without a scratch.

"The armor has implanted anti-impact technology, you will not die even if you fall from the highest possible height. Even without any kind of energy supporting the armor." Revius said.

"Great." Akin said. "And now?" "Now? Now you will think about what you did, boy. Consider this a punishment." Revius said leaning against a tree. "No, a lesson."

"Wait, will you just leave me here? I'm f*cking going to die." He said desperately. "Hey, language." Revius said. "In addition, you will not die. The armor will not let any animal eat you. At most, swallow."

"Come on, Revius. Get me out of here." Akin said, pleading. Revius turned to the boy, smiling as always.

"Consider this one of your lessons, boy. I know you can do this."
