Ignoring You

I wish to be a bird,

That can fly at any speed,

Crossing even deserts,

To reach Your holy place,

To see Your holy face.

I wish to be that four handing animal,

That is free to run out in forest,

That can go anywhere in this world,

In order to take just one glimpse of You,

Just to be able to somehow find You.

Just not this human,

Who gets millions of chances,

To embrace the Holy name of You O Keshava,

Who is free to dance,

And sing with joy,

And yet I am wearing this toy,

Shamelessly ignoring You.

Oh I just want to be with You,

But I'm shamelessly ignoring You.
