Within 15 minutes, Masaki and Cyrus blasted off from the countryside all the way to the parliamentary building. Normally, it would take an hour or two to make such a journey, but with the advanced bikes they used, it was much shorter. These bikes were propelled by a prototype ion engine with enchanted materials to allow for more efficient energy conversion. This resulted in much more efficient travel.
Along the way, they noticed that the carnage along the streets has only grown more out of control. Light posts, signs have all fallen over. Some even being used as weapons. Scorch marks laced each and every building and almost none of the windows were left in tact. It was a war zone.
