Demon Continent

Demon Continent

The vast lands of the Demon Continent, which once belonged to the Human Race, could now only be described as dreary and desolate.

The verdant greenery that the former Human inhabitants of the continent once walked upon was no longer, replaced with a crimson hue as if the soil itself absorbed the 30,000-year-long war.

Yet amidst this desolation, not every corner had been tainted by the invasion of the Demons. In the southeastern corner of the continent, a place known by many as a forbidden area lay a beautiful multicolored forest.

Those who had been foolish enough to venture within to conquer what lay inside met only a fate of endless slumber

After hundreds of thousands perished from simply entering the forest, no one dared enter ever again.

Therefore, the territory was labeled the Land of Eternal Sleep.

Yet, contrary to its ominous reputation, the inhabitants of the Land of Eternal Sleep call their dwelling Hope City. For the residents, their city was a bastion of refuge amidst the desolation that remained even after 30,000 years.

For them, this was their sanctuary, a place that gave them safety and continuation of their once pitifully weak lives.

30,000 years ago, a Race later known as Demons invaded Arcadia unleashing chaos and devastation across the Human Continent. The one-sided slaughter claimed the lives of hundreds of millions of Humans and other Races. Many were devoured alive by the ravenous horde, and those who were unlucky were subjected to unspeakable torture.

At the moment, within Hope City, as if the residents were once again being invaded, were swarming in mass droves toward the castle that was situated in the middle of the city.

A person who obviously didn't understand the memo stopped one of the residents before he ran past him, "Hey, wait! Wait!" He cried out.

The muscular man who was yelled at showed obvious impatience at being stopped. He glared at the pot-bellied, shady-looking man and yelled impatiently, demanding an answer "WHAT!?"

Reeling from the sudden shout, the slightly chubby man became scared. After mustering his courage, he apologized to the muscular man, "I'm sorry! I wanted to ask, why is everyone panicking? Are we being invaded?"

The muscular man became red from anger, "Are you an idiot!? Do you want to die!?" He snarled. In one swift motion, before the pot-bellied man could react, he grabbed him by the throat and lifted him off the ground. "Who would dare to invade our sanctuary?" He questioned, as veins popped on his forehead.

"I-I'm SORRY! Please… please don't kill me!" The pot-bellied man panicked. He was a simple stall owner with no strength. If the man grabbing him by the neck squeezed him a bit harder, then *gulp*… he did not dare to imagine.

"Tch!" The muscular man clicked his tongue in annoyance, "Count yourself lucky that today is a joyous day. Had it not been, I would have taken my sweet time torturing you for your transgression against our Goddess."

After letting go of the pot-bellied man's neck, he explained with fanatic reverence, "Our Goddess has summoned us!"

Wide-eyed with disbelief, the pot-bellied man screamed, "WHAT!" He couldn't believe the Goddess that everyone in Hope City worshiped had summoned them.

If he recalled correctly, not even his great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather had seen the Goddess in person.

Without even closing his stall and not even caring if his money would be stolen, he joined everyone as they all frantically ran toward the castle where their Goddess lived.

—--------------

"Do you think we'll get to see our Goddess?" A short, messy, blue-haired man inquired as his gaze continued to be glued on the balcony of the majestic castle, hoping the Goddess would grace them with her presence.

A skinny bald man who happened to hear what the blue-haired man asked almost burst into laughter. "Do you think we are worthy?" Instead of replying to his question, he asked sarcastically.

The Royal Chamber within Hope Castle.

"Ugh~!" Evelynn grimaced as the incessant noise pierced through her slumber. She reluctantly opened one eye and her vision penetrated through the walls out into the city streets where hundreds of thousands of Humans had gathered for something. Despite the clamor, she remained in her bed, refusing to leave no matter what. Her friend could deal with it if she was needed for any matters. Trusting her friend, she closed her eye and quickly fell asleep.

Beside the bed, her friend, Silvia, looked down at the sleeping girl and let out a tired sigh, her forehead throbbed with fatigue.

As she massaged her aching temples, Silvia walked to the balcony and gazed through the cracks of the curtain. She saw practically everyone in Hope City had gathered outside of the castle to see their 'Goddess'.

When the Humans needed a savior the most, Eve was the Being who helped them. Therefore, to Hope City, Evelynn was their 'Goddess', even if she was a Demon.

Silvia turned her gaze away from the crowd and returned her attention back to the sleeping girl. 'I wonder how they would react if they ever saw the real Eve…' Silvia mused. Eve had long pink hair that cascaded below her feet. Had she not possessed a Skill that allowed her to float, her beautiful pink hair would have become muddied. She had matching seductive narrowed pink eyes, a cute round face, and white skin. Further accentuated by her small stature, which stood at a height of 5 feet 5 inches, she was the definition of cuteness. Despite her cute appearance, which exuded an air of innocence, mixed within was a hint of seduction. Even her sleeping posture resembled her so well. She slept while hugging a teddy bear that was even larger than herself.

"Eve." Silvia called out, attempting to wake up her friend from her slumber.

Eve heard the voice of her best friend but feigned ignorance and continued to pretend that she was sleeping.

*Sigh*

Silvia sighed while pinching the bridge of her nose.

Ever since Silvia was born, she had to deal with this 'master' of hers who only knew how to sleep and laze around while she had to attend to her 'masters' duties.

Silvia walked up to the bed while feigning surprise, she exclaimed, "Eve, your boobs have gotten bigger!"

With a sudden burst of energy that she previously lacked, Eve sprang up from the comfort of her bed and dashed into the bathroom.

She looked at herself in the mirror and with each angle she looked at herself, the angrier she became. A few more angles later, her anger reached a boiling point. "SILVIA! YOU DARE LIE TO ME!?" She yelled, accusing Silvia of her deceit.

*Step, step, step*

Hearing the footsteps behind her, Eve turned her face behind her shoulders, only to regret her decision by what she saw.

"..." Eve ground her teeth while veins popped on her forehead.

*Step* *Boing*

*Step* *Boing*

*Step* *Boing*

With each step her friend took, those damn melons jiggled.

It was driving her crazy.

Her friend, Silvia, was adorned in a white and black maid's uniform. She had waist-length red hair with the tips being purplish-black, which complemented her seductive narrowed red eyes and slightly tanned complexion. Two red horns with black patterns jutted out from her temples. The most notable trait about her… was THOSE DAMN MELONS.

SHE, EVELYNN WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE SUCCUBUS. THEN WHY DID SHE LOOK LIKE A KID?

Worst of all, Silvia was purposely making her breasts bounce and jiggle. Those THINGS that defied gravity never sagged or bounced, only when she was teasing her would they start acting normal.

"Tch, cow! I'm surprised you can walk without hunching over." Evelynn sarcastically spoke. "How about I cut them off?" she added with a sinister grin.

"Ara~! Ara~! Is something the matter, my dear Eve~?" Silvia spoke sensually with the most hateful smile she could muster.
