Status Screen [Part 2]

Author's Note: Before the chapter starts, I would like to offer two apologies. The first apology for the lack of a chapter yesterday. I had the chapter ready; however, at the last second before posting the chapter, I realized that I did not find my Power System adequate. So… as you can probably tell, I scrapped my Power System and recreated another one. Now for the second apology. As a reader myself, info dumps suck. Info dumps are equally as bad as fillers. Though sometimes info dumps are necessary… thus this chapter.

After sighing and cursing his miserable fate, Nyx followed the information he received from Ulric on how to use the Status Screen, and the screen changed displaying descriptions. The Status Screen was quite user…noob friendly. Just by not understanding what the terms displayed on the Status Screen meant, it would explain itself.

'Why is this like a video game? ...Has my life become a video game?'

< True Name >

[Locked]

Description: A True Name is the fundamental, intrinsic name of a person, creature, or object. Unlike names given by parents, guardians, or society, a True Name carries inherent power and influence. Each True Name possesses varying degrees of power depending on the name's meaning. A powerful True Name can enhance the named. The opposite is also true. A weak True Name can do the opposite, making the named weaker.

Note: True Names should be kept as a closely guarded secret. No one other than yourself should know that you possess a True Name, let alone what your True Name is. Knowing someone's True Name is the same as becoming the owner of that named Beings Soul forever.

Unique Job Class

Job Class Description: A Job Class refers to an occupation. Each Job Class possesses its own set of Abilities, Skills, and/or Spells.

Dungeon Master Description: A Unique Job Class that allows the creation of a Dungeon. This Job Class involves building and expanding your Dungeon, summoning sentient and non-sentient Beings, and defending against intruders who stumble upon your Dungeon.

Note: Job Class specific Abilities, Skills, and/or Spells will be given once the Dungeon has been created.

Affinity Description: Refers to the connection a Being's Soul has with the Universal Energy

Note: There are many ways a connection with the composition of Universal Energy can be formed.

Familiar Description: A familiar is a Spirit that forms a bond with a Being who is loved by Nature. Depending on the Familiar, they can serve as companions, assistants, or protectors.

Note: There are six Attribute Stats that all Beings possess: Physical Attack Power, Magical Attack Power, Physical Defense, Magical Defense, Vitality, and Agility. Each Attribute stat affects a Beings capabilities differently.

Note: Though rare, there can be more than six Attribute Stats.

Note: Special Attributes are extremely rare. Only 1 in a million Beings might be born with an additional Attribute.
