"Magnemite!"

"Hitmonlee!"

The figures of Magnemite and Hitmonlee appeared on the battlefield and let out a sharp cry at the same time.

"[Thunder Wave] on Gyarados!" Folker said in a hurry.

"[Aqua Tail] once again" the hunter said with a smile.

However, before Magnemite and Gyarados could use their moves, Hitmonlee already approached Gyarados' figure and let out a kick on its face. Gyarados flinched for a second.

"Great! Follow it up with [Double Kick]!" Corin praised Hitmonlee and said his next move.

Hitmonlee then followed it up with a kick, twice in succession with both its legs. It then jumped backwards as a weak jolt of electricity hit Gyarados.

Success! Gyarados is now paralyzed and with its speed reduced!

"Nidoking, [Double Kick] on Magnemite" the hunter said with a frown on his face.

"Shit! Dodge it Magnemite!" Folker hurriedly said in panic.

Nidoking then charged forward in Magnemite's direction and kicked it twice in succession with both its legs, without allowing it to dodge. Magnemite fell down.

Magnemite fainted!

Folker is now out of Pokemon!

"[Low Sweep] on Nidoking, now!" Corin said.

Hitmonlee then let out a swift attack on Nidoking's legs with fighting type energy. Nidoking's legs were hit as it screamed in pain.

"Follow it up with a [Double Kick] on its face!" Corin said hurriedly.

Hitmonlee then channeled Fighting type energy on its legs and let out a kicking motion on Nidoking's face.

Meanwhile, the hunter uttered "[Aqua Tail!], quick!"

Gyarados began its move and swung its tail with water type energy. However, it hit both Hitmonlee and Nidoking.

Hitmonlee fell down with its eyes spiraling. Nidoking also joined it as it fainted with its eyes spiraling.

"How ruthless!" Folker replied as he frowned at the hunter's ruthlessness.

"Hahahaha! Don't get me wrong. I may be ruthless but I still love my Pokemon" the hunter replied with a grin.

"That's what you get for not minding your own business, kids! Now, hand over that egg" the hunter arrogantly said.

"Hand over that Riolu, Kirlia, and Zorua as well" the hunter said as a follow up. Greed was written on his face as he looked at his opponent's figure as if victory is in his grasp.

Corin and Folker then looked at each other. They nodded at the same time. Then they turned their gaze towards Chelsea.

Chelsea seemed to understand their gaze and moved closer towards them. They then held each other.

Corin was about to tell Kirlia to use [Teleport] in telepathy when Chelsea suddenly said something.

"No, wait! What about Tyranitar?" Chelsea said with concern as she looked at Tyranitar. Corin then frowned as he looked at it.

Kirlia could [Teleport] them but it would take too much time with Tyranitar's huge figure and heaviness.

In addition, there's also a limit to how many Kirlia can [Teleport] with.

"At this point, there's not much we can do. We did our best but that hunter is just too strong" Folker replied.

The hunter seemed to understand their conversation when he looked at Kirlia's figure.

"I know what you're planning to do. You think I'd let you?" the hunter said with a grin on his face.

"Kirlia, now!" Corin urged Kirlia to teleport.

Kirlia then used psychic energy to tap into the power of space and teleport somewhere else.

However, its attempt in using psychic powers was blocked.

'I can't use [Teleport]!' Kirlia replied in telepathy.

Corin's expression suddenly turned ugly. He then surveyed the surroundings and looked for something that might have blocked Kirlia's [Teleport].

Suddenly, a slightly humanoid Pokémon with a large mustache appeared next to the hunter. It has a long, thin snout, narrow eyes, ear-like spikes extending from the top of its head, and an additional spike protruding from each cheek.

Covering its yellow, skeletal body are brown armor-like sections over its chest, shoulders, forearms, and knees. There are three toes on each foot, each of which has a white claw. Two of the toes face forward, while one faces backwards. It wields a silver spoon in each hand, which acts as amplifiers for its psychic abilities.

"Alakazam"

It then let out a sharp cry.

"Hahahaha! The moment I realized it was Kirlia, I already prepared for its move [Teleport] and blocked it" the hunter laughed as he looked at them with disdain.

Corin and Chelsea's faces turned pale after hearing the hunter's words.

'We're doomed!' Corin thought to himself.

'So that's where the feeling of danger came from' Folker realized as he looked Alakazam's figure.

'The feeling of danger didn't come from the hunter's greed. Instead, it is because our only method for escape is blocked' Folker thought to himself with a calm expression on his face.

"Tyranitar!"

Suddenly, a loud roar shook the entire forest. The mini [Sandstorm] around Tyranitar intensified and grew larger until it covered a large area of Viridian Forest.

'It's possible to [Teleport] now!' Kirlia informed Corin in telepathy.

Corin's expression suddenly turned bright as he said "Hurry, do it now!"

Kirlia then channeled psychic energy and tapped the power of space. Folker, Corin, and Chelsea along with Tyranitar's egg suddenly disappeared from the vicinity.

"Tch, so they escaped" the hunter grit his teeth at the thought of kids escaping from his grasp.

"Well, looking for some brats is a piece of cake anyway. They can't have gone too far" the hunter muttered with a smile on his face. He then recalled Gyarados back to its Pokeball.

"Fearow, let's leave this place now" the hunter calmly said as he urged Fearow to leave this place. It flapped its wings faster and turned towards the east direction.

However, rocks were suddenly hurled towards Fearow's direction. Without the hunter needing to command it, Fearow dodged the rocks as it flew through the gaps between those rocks.

Suddenly, a powerful beam pierced Fearow's left wing just as it escaped through the rocks.

Fearow screamed in pain as it slowly fell down towards the ground. The hunter then recalled Fearow back to its pokeball and let out a parachute from his backpack.

'Hyper Beam?' the hunter thought as his face turned ugly.

'It needs to recharge for a while. Now's my chance to escape' the hunter thought.

"Alakazam, use [Telekinesis] to stabilize our position and follow it up with [Teleport]" the hunter uttered.

Suddenly, another powerful beam charged towards the hunter. With his quick reflexes, the hunter hurriedly let go of the parachute and fell.

When the hunter was about to reach the ground, pink light surrounded his body and his footing suddenly stabilized.

"Alakazam!"

'Impossible! Two Hyper Beams in a row!' the hunter thought with a serious expression on his face.

The hunter then landed on the ground safely. However, to his horror, the massive figure of Tyranitar charged in his direction with all its strength.

"Let me out of here, Quick!" the hunter said with a panic.

Alakazam then used [Telekinesis] on the hunter as it raised him from the ground.

The hunter dodged its charge at just the nick of time.

"That was [Giga Impact]!" the hunter shouted as he realized the move Tyranitar just used.

However, Tyranitar still wasn't finished.
