Let's be champions!

I ...was  in a white empty room in the same body I have now.

"Where am I? What is this." 

"your wake up call.." I deep voice shook the very plain I was on and out came a monster with huge wings and a menacing presence .

"what-" I had nowhere else to look but into its deep red eyes as it draws me in closer and closer

"wake up!" the voice commanded

I slowly opened my eyes  to see two faces over me. "oh he's finally waking up." I heard one of them say.

their faces looked familiar  ..who are they? I got up and hugged the two of them. I dont know why I just had the urge to and it felt ...right for some reason.

"woah calm down their buddy we're glad you're ok too." When I got a closer look at them  one of them was a boy with white hair with a black fade and hazel eyes and the other was a girl with red hair and cyan eyes.

Both looked overjoyed to see me awake. I started to look around.

I was in a hospital and there was a monitor next to me  which I assume measures heart rate...but it wasn't going up ..nor down it was a straight line. The two other kids don't seem to recognize this or  maybe completely ignoring the fact.

"what  happened?" I asked "why did I end up here?" 

"w-wha-what do you -me-me-mean?" their voices began to distort.

"y-yyou got s-ick that's-all." 

"what's going on.." 

They kept repeating the same thing "what do you mean? you got sick, that's all." 

their faces began to become  blurred and a series of symbols took their place. 

(("WE CAN'T SAVE YOU!!"))

I jolted out of my slumber   "oh he's finally awake." Miss Riverdale  sighed a sigh of relief  

"You ok?" Chloe sat right next to me, putting her hand on my head.

"I'm not sick-" I said taking her hand off, she gave me a look of concern.

"Thanks anyways." I muttered to myself and she hugged me. "You really scared us  Ayuna." Miss Riverdale gave me a stern look. 

"I'm sorry.." I apologized  to Miss Riverdale so far I did nothing but cause trouble for her. I'm surprised she doesn't hate me. Miss Riverdale just smiles and rubs my head "Don't  worry I wont tell your mom about this one. Just don't do it again."

"Ok!" I said with a smile.

"oh! right!" Chloe just remembered "Zorua wanted to say hi." I was confused by what she said until I looked to my left seeing Zorua hiding behind a tree from afar.

I smiled and waved at it. Overjoyed that It was forgiven. It jumped on me and started to lick my face repeatedly.

"ok! ok!" I started to laugh as it kept going. I held it up "I'll never let those bad guys hurt you ever again." I  promised Zorua  bringing it in for a hug which it continued  to lick me.

"Ayuna.." Miss Riverdale  held an empty pokeball in her hand.

"Would you like to catch it?" 

I turn to Zorua. It looked excited to be with me so I took the pokeball from Miss Riverdale's hand and  lightly pressed it on Zorua's head.

And it was transported into the pokeball. 

The ball shook three times and ticked in my hand Zorua was caught!

I'm finally 10 years old which means I can legally set out on my pokemon adventure with my trusty partner Zorua no one can stop me on this adventure with my buddy by my side no one!

I picked up my scarf and glasses  and put on my jacket and gloves.  "I'm stylish and ready to battle." I said pointing to myself in the mirror  hyping myself up.

My mom walked in on me doing that and I felt super embarrassed! 

Tears started to flood her eyes ``it was almost like it was yesterday when you first picked up that scarf.'' She sniffed  in between almost every word, holding back the tears as much as she could watching her little boy set off to pursue his pokemon adventure.

I gave my mom one of my signature hugs "don't worry mom me and Zorua got this! When   we come home we're coming home as champions!"

Zorua howled, agreeing with what I just said.

My mom smiles, rubbing the tears from out of her eyes.

"you go get them son." 

"Bye mom I'm heading out!" I said, closing the door behind me.

Ever since I met Zorua my life changed. Somehow my view of pokemon changed and I'm willing to give them a chance ..maybe pokemon aren't mindless creatures as I first thought. They aren't human but they have human emotions just like us and my first step in understanding them is becoming champion. So! Follow my lead Zorua this is the official start to our Pokemon ADVENTURE!!!!
