Volume 1 - Chapter 4: Secret Realm (1)

A black car running through the street as it stopped in front of an apartment. A man in a black suit and black sunglasses came out of it as he stood in front of the passenger seat door.

He seems to wait for someone. The men were expressionless as he continued to wait. Five minutes pass by as the men looked it up his watch.

The men in black saw it is currently 8:00 AM.

Suddenly, the door of the apartment open it as a young man came out of it. The young man was Sora Natsume as he came out with a backpack behind him.

Sora nodded toward the men as he responded it.

Sora walking toward the man as he waited for further explanation from him. The men stared at Sora for a few minutes In silence.

"…"

"ID, please." Said The man as Sora took out his phone. Sora logged inside the official Pokemon Alliance App as he searched for his ID.

Sora simply showed his ID as the man looked it up as he opened the door behind him. He rose his arm as he showed Sora could enter inside the car.

Sora simply nodded as he entered the car. The man closed the door for Sora as he left to his own seat. Sora saw him entering the driving seat as he closed his eyes.

"30 minutes before we arrive at Ginza, Mister Natsume." said the man as he started the car.

"Thank you for your work." Responded Sora with his eyes still close.

"Just doing my job, sir."

"…"

The car went silent as the driver kept driving and Sora rested.

The car finally arrived at Ginza as they parked near the secret realm. They were near a camp create by the Pokémon Alliance to study the secret realm.

Sora got off the car as he saw many people going in and out of the gate. The place was busy with many scientists and soldier. They were some Pokémon that belonged to some soldier that were out patrolling the place.

Sora saw some growlithe and pidgey doing their task with some humans.

The driver was out of the car as he signaled Sora to go toward the gate. Sora acknowledged his order as he walked toward the camp.

"Have a pleasant journey, mister Natsume." said the man in black as he bowed in respect. There were few trainers that could pass the test set by the Alliance, so Sora was worthy of respect.

"Thank you." Sora simply thanked him as he entered the camp.

A soldier saw Sora as he saluted him as he asked his purpose. Sora simply showed his phone as the soldier realized something.

The soldier became even more respectful as he guided Sora inside the gate. The duo entered the gate as Sora closed his eyes by reflex.

"…"

"We are here, mister Natsume. This is the camp created by the Alliance in the secret realm to research and protect. If you need more information before leaving the camp, you should go to Shirayuri-san, who is the vice-president of the Pokémon Alliance of our Japan branch." Said the soldier as Sora listened to the man talking.

Sora didn't expect to see someone special today before his exploration. He had little to say to this person for now, so he won't be going to this vice-president. Let's hope this person should still be there went he'll come back from his trip.

He hoped to get noticed by those high ranked guys with his haul.

"Thank you, but where can I find the most recent map of the secret realm or information before leaving the camp?" asked Sora, as he was most ready to start his exploration.

"Of course, sir, I'll bring you to someone dealing with that. Please follow me." Said The soldier as he brought Sora toward the exit of the camp. Sora saw a soldier who guarded the door as he noticed them.

The soldier who came with Sora explained the situation to the gatekeeper as his expression expressed an understanding. The soldier who came with Sora left them as he returned to his post.

The gatekeeper explained the general situation of the secret realm as he downloaded the most recent map of the camp into Sora's phone.

The soldier talked for over 10 minutes before letting Sora exit the camp. From Sora's understanding, the Alliance didn't completely explore the area in these five years. As you go further from the camp, the Pokémon are more powerful and territorial.

So the outskirt of the camp was the most explored area by the Alliance. Sora's goal from the soldier's explanation was to find resources such as ores, berry, herbs, etc. or Pokémon eggs. He should explore an unexplored area of the secret realm or fill up the Pokedex app created by the Alliance.

If Sora wants, he could sell them to the Alliance for money and contribution points that could rank up his Trainer Rank.

Sora walked further from the camp's door as he entered inside a forest. Sora stopped in place as he looked around him. After observing his entourage, he opened the system inventory as he took out two poke balls from it.

He took both poke balls as he summoned Umbreon and Espeon from it.

"Umbre-Umbreon!"

"Espe-Espeon!"

"Hi guys, we are currently inside those secret realms, so I hope you guys can help me." Said Sora with a smile, as he was happy to see his partners.

Espeon and Umbreon naturally nodded their head in affirmation.

"Cool, let's see if we can find something interesting on the outskirt before going deeper." Said Sora as his Pokémon cried in understanding.

They walked for a few hours before stopping in a temporary camp made by Sora. It was currently night as Sora and his Pokémon sat near a fire bond.

They found little expect for a few Oran berries or tumble stone that are used to craft poke ball. Unfortunately, he didn't find an apricorn tree that is needed for the poke ball. They found some hostile Pokémon, but they were light work for his Espeon.

They were mostly weak wurmple or sparrow that he found in the forest and with the help of his system; he found most of them were only [Advanced] or [Superior] Pokémon.

Sora took out some Poke block for his Pokemon and food for himself. After eating, he decided to sleep because travelling at night would be more dangerous.

Espeon and Umbreon slept near Sora as they dozed off quickly. It was Sora's first outing, and he was exhausted.
