Wart and Ivy enter Professor Oak's lab to see him messing with a device.
Oak: Perfect timing. I assume you have the Pokédex with you aswell?
Wart: Yeah, here you go.
He hands him the device and plugs it up to a computer.
Oak: Okay, a little over 60 entries registered, some incomplete evolution lines and a small amount you haven't seen. Better than expected to be honest with you, well done.
Ivy: So what did you need help with?
Oak: Oh right, the reason I called you here is to help me test out this new device. The Samuel Oak Ultimate Training Hologram! Or the S.O.U.T.H. for short. It takes data from when I was a trainer and former rivals to create the ultimate training device.
Wart: You were a trainer before? You don't seem like it.
Oak: I can assure you I was a formidable threat back in the day. Want to test it out to prove me wrong?
Wart: Sure, this'll be easy.
He turns it on and a veil similar to the one Eve create encompasses the room to protect the lab. The hologram Oak appears and throws out his first Pokémon, Tauros, which slams into Wart, knocking him out instantly.
Oak: It seems it works perfectly. Aside from the S.O.U.T.H., I wanted you to complete the Pokédex. I doubt you'll be able to find all 150 Pokémon in the Kanto region due to some species not even being confirmed to exist, but if you manage to log all normal Pokémon, I'll even give you something that could very much help you prepare for the Pokémon League. That is if you can also best the S.O.U.T.H. of course
Wart: You have a deal.
Oak: Perfect, I'll let you pick which one you want to start on first.
Ivy: I want to battle the S.O.U.T.H. first, I have to see just how strong you used to be Professor.
Wart: Then I'll go register some Pokémon. I think water Pokémon will be a good place to start.
Oak: Great, while you both deal with that, I'll start on the improved version of the S.O.U.T.H. based off of the data the Pokédex collected from you all. Wait, when did you have a Butterfree on your team?
Episode End.
