Episode 59: Mouse & Poison Bee

Rai and Una head back to Viridian Forest. Standing there is the two Weedle kids, Kaku and Ana who have now become Kakunas, waiting for them.

Ana: You're back? I though you guys were leaving to train for the Pokémon League?

Una: Well, we decided that instead we take this time to not only train, but to take some time to enjoy ourselves.

Rai: Yeah, the forest is our home so where else would we go.

Kaku: That's great, I'm sure you can enjoy yourselves here!

Koga: I'm sure you can too.

From the trees comes the gym leader Koga. The two Kakunas kneel down before him but to their surprise Koga orders them to stand back up.

Koga: I heard you were here so I decided to stop by.

Ana: But sir, you usually never come around the forest.

Koga: While yes, today's a special occasion. Unfortunately, you two aren't the only reason I'm here. I'm actually here to help my fellow gym leader Blaine hunt down a specific Pokémon.

Rai: What is it?

Koga: You may already know, it's the mythical Pokémon Mew.

Una: That's the Pokémon Mr. Fuji made a clone of a year ago...

Koga: Precisely. There's been reports of a Pokémon that fits its description flying round the forest. If we can find even a sample of it, we could be able to hunt down another legendary Pokémon.

Rai: Mewtwo right?

Koga: Yes. If you both would like to help me look for the Pokémon, it would be greatly appreciated. Though if not I understand.

Una: No, we'll help.

Koga: Thank you Una. One more thing, to help you two prepare for the Pokémon League, I've come up with a training plan that involves the Pokémon of this forest. You'll have to overpower all 300 poison type Pokémon I've trained whilst blindfolded.

Rai: That shouldn't be that hard.

Koga: It seem like you don't understand how much you rely on that sense.

In the blink of an eye, Rai has a cloth over his eyes.

Koga: My students, show this boy what the Fuchsia Secret Ninja Training School Viridian Sector can do!

Rai manages to take out a couple Pokémon and Pokéman but eventually falls.

Koga: Now you see how much you really rely on your sight. Once you're able to beat them come see me and help me hunt down the Mythical Pokémon.

Back in their home, Una and Rai begin there training under Koga.
