Chapter 25 - Rota, Cameran palace.

Itsuki and Cynthia sat by the window, at the corner to avoid crowds.

"Itsuki what is your next target?" Itsuki raised an eye brow and looked at Cynthia.

"I meant, your next Gym" Cynthia

"Before heading for the next gym, I plan on going to a place name Rota; I want to explore the ruins of Cameran palace. So do you want to go with me?"

Cynthia thought for a moment and said. "I remember the Rota is very far away. It is located at the eastern corner of the Kanto. Just going there would normally take 5 to 6 days. And the Indigo League is around the corner, I think you should focus on getting the badges first." Cynthia did not want Itsuki to miss this Indigo League. After seeing Itsuki's battle with Blaine, Cynthia has been itching to fight Itsuki.

Hearing Cynthia's words, Itsuki smiled and said. "What if I said that I am going to fly on Articuno's back to travel there? With her speed I can return and finish exploring the ruins, everything in just 3 to 4 days. So…"

Hearing that Cynthia could get the chance of riding Articuno's back, getting to touch a legendary Pokémon, Cynthia immediately agrees.

"After having lunch, our journey towards Rota is going to start." Cynthia nodded. Even thought she tried to hide it, but Itsuki can see excitement written on her face.

"Let's order, I am hungry." Itsuki and Cynthia ordered some specialty of Cinnabar Island.

After eating lunch, Itsuki and Cynthia come to the quiet part of the forest.

"Come out Articuno"

Articuno! (Why did you call me Itsuki?)

Articuno also looked at Cynthia for a second before looking at Itsuki.

"Articuno, I and Cynthia want to go to Rota town and explore the ancient ruins but to go there we will need lots of time which we don't have currently so I wondering if you could take us there." Itsuki never ordered Articuno anything. Itsuki only captured Articuno because both of them wanted revenge. That's why Itsuki never ordered Articuno to do anything. Of course Itsuki never forced his Pokémons to do anything against their will but Articuno's case is little special.

Arti..Articuno. (I was also bored staying inside the Pokeball. Sure I can give you a ride. I have been to Rota before, a long time ago. So I know the way to Rota.)

"Thank you Articuno." Itsuki thanked Articuno.

Articuno, CunoArti! (As long as you let me eat your tasty, delicious food) Itsuki smiled and nodded.

Seeing Itsuki and Articuno talking so comfortably, Cynthia was greatly surprised.

Articuno..Cuno! (Itsuki tell her to not touch my feathers, otherwise I will throw her down.)

'I wonder why Articuno hates Cynthia that much.' Itsuki sighed.

"Cynthia, Articuno said that she doesn't want you to touch her feathers so much." Cynthia pouted and stopped touching Articuno's feathers.

The journey to Rota did not take much time. With Articuno's speed, Itsuki's team arrived in Rota 6 hours.

Itsuki told Articuno to fly little slowly since the air pressure is too much for Itsuki and Cynthia.

It was already evening time when Itsuki and others arrived in Rota.

For some reason, Rota was abandoned town. After the demise of Cameran Palace King and the last aura guardian, the town was abandoned. People moved to other part of Kanto since Rota is very far way from other cities of Kanto. Rota town was built inside a forest and Rota is surrounded by the forest.

"Cynthia, let's make camp here." Itsuki found an open field near the Rota town.

"Alright. I will help you with setting the tent."

"Then I will prepare dinner. Come out everyone." Zera and other Pokémons of Itsuki come out of their poke balls. Seeing this Cynthia also took out all of her Pokémons.

Itsuki looked at all the Pokémons Cynthia had. Aside from Milotic, Gastrodon, there was Gabite who is yet to evolve into a Garchomp. Other than Gabite there was also Roserade, Spiritomb, and Glaceon.

Seeing their level, Itsuki was convinced that if he doesn't train his Pokémon than he will definitely lose the Indigo league.

Cynthia also took a good look at Itsuki's Pokémons.

'There is Zeraora, Dragonair, Eevee, Magikarp and finally Articuno. Just facing Articuno would give me extremely hard time. I am not sure if I could even defeat Articuno. Even if Itsuki doesn't use his Articuno, there is Zeraora who looks very powerful. Dragonair and Eevee also look very strong. Meanwhile Roserade and Eevee were playing with flower. Both Pokémons was female and liked flower.

Eevee: - Roserade which flower do you like?

Roserade: - I like rose and you?

Eevee: - I like every flower. Each flower has their own special fragrance.

Roserade; - If you put it that way, then I also like every flower.

Glaceon looked at Articuno with stars in her eyes. Being an ice type Pokémon, she idolized Articuno. Seeing her Idol in front of her, Glaceon hoped that Articuno could teach her something. She wanted to learn from her idol.

After making dinner, Itsuki served for his Pokémon first then sat near Cynthia to eat.

"How is it?" Itsuki asked because this was the first time another human had eaten his craft. Itsuki

"Wow, it's really good. This is the most delicious thing I have ever eaten. Everything is perfectly balanced." Hearing Cynthia's compliment, Itsuki felt satisfied and began to eat.

Cynthia also noticed that her Pokémon also liked Itsuki's cooking. Even the legendary Pokémon Articuno was eating Itsuki's cooking with a happy expression.

"Itsuki, just how much did you practice to make your cooking so delicious?" Cynthia has visited many places in the world and has tried many famous and delicious foods but in front of Itsuki's cooking those famous foods are nothing.
