Chapter 26 - Are you also an Aura guardian?

After making dinner, Itsuki served for his Pokémon first then sat near Cynthia to eat.

"How is it?" Itsuki asked because this was the first time another human had eaten his craft. Itsuki

"Wow, it's really good. This is the most delicious thing I have ever eaten. Everything is perfectly balanced." Hearing Cynthia's compliment, Itsuki felt satisfied and began to eat.

Cynthia also noticed that her Pokémon also liked Itsuki's cooking. Even the legendary Pokémon Articuno was eating Itsuki's cooking with a happy expression.

"Itsuki, just how much did you practice to make your cooking so delicious?" Cynthia has visited many places in the world and has tried many famous and delicious foods but in front of Itsuki's cooking those famous foods are nothing.

Hearing Cynthia's words, Itsuki dryly laughed and changed the subject. Since Itsuki did not want to tell anyone about God or the fact he is reincarnated person.

"Cynthia, what is your dream?"

"I want to become the Champion of Sinnoh Region and I also want to travel the world. Since my childhood, I always wanted to travel to visit new places and interact with people from different culture."At this moment, neither Cynthia nor Itsuki realized that Cynthia has warmed up to him. In the past, he always tried to research more about the power which controls and maintains peace in Kanto region but Itsuki never got any answer. Itsuki even asked Professor Oak about it, he said that Itsuki will find the answer when times come.

After starting Itsuki's Pokémon Journey, Itsuki never bothered to find anything about the power structure of Kanto region.

"I guess you don't know. This information is hidden from general public including normal trainers. Almost every city has gym leaders. Gym leaders along with police are the protector of the city. Every gym leader, police officer, Nurse Joy is under the control of Pokémon peace maintaining authority organization."

"Pokémon peace maintaining authority organization is spread in all the regions. The main aim of the organization is to bring peace and stability to the Pokémon world. However each region has their separate and independent President. And the strongest Trainer in that region becomes the Pokémon President of the region. In case of Kanto region, the elite four are the main head and protector of Kanto."

"In the recent years, the condition of Kanto region has been getting better compared to other region. That's why many trainers from other regions came to Kanto and participate in the Indigo League.

Compare to Kanto, regions like Sinnoh has very bad condition. Pokémons are abused by trainers, trainers often kill Pokémons, Evil organizations, Pokémons slave traders, corrupt officials and many more. It wouldn't be surprising if you get robbed in public day light in the city."

Cynthia clenched her fist and said while holding her anger. "I want to prevent all of this. I want to make Sinnoh region a better region. You know there was times when I was almost robbed by other Pokémon trainers who wanted my Pokémon but fortunately I always could Gabite by side that protected me."

Itsuki now had a better idea about the Pokémon world. This world is the reality now the game or anime or manga world. This world has its own set of rules and regulations. Itsuki understood this point but he can't just bring himself to accept this reality or he doesn't accept this society. Itsuki too wants to make this world a better place, a better society.

"Itsuki, can you tell me why you came to Rota? I know you came here to search for something." Cynthia asked. Cynthia felt she had said too much. She knew that people in Kanto is different from her region. Itsuki as a newbie trainer does not know anything about the cruelty of this world. So Cynthia changed the subject.

This is the reason why Cynthia decided to help Itsuki to fight against Team Rocket.

Itsuki noticed that Cynthia doesn't want to talk about the bad condition of Sinnoh region so Itsuki also replied.

"I came to Rota because I want to search for Aura Guardian. I want to become an Aura user." Cynthia felt she couldn't understand what Itsuki was saying.

"Aura is essence of every living creature. Aura can be learned by both Pokémon and Human. In ancient times, people learned Aura to protect themselves from wild Pokémons. In those times, there was no Pokeballs so humans had no way of defending themselves from wild and aggressive Pokémons. The human who masters the power of Aura is called Aura Guardian."

"But over time, technology developed and human finally created Pokeball. When the Pokeball was introduced to the world, people instead of spending years of training to master Aura, began to use Pokeballs to caught Pokémons. As a result, Aura Guardian numbers slowly began to decrease and Kingdom Rota had the last user of Aura."

"The modern world considers Aura as a myth and thinks that Aura is thing that only certain Pokémon could use. But in truth some Pokémons like Lucario can master Aura naturally but other Pokémons can also master Aura if they are taught by someone." Itsuki only told Cynthia about Aura because he trusted her enough. Cynthia felt her view of the world just change.

"Itsuki, I don't think you will find anything here. Pokémon archaeologist must have already searched this place and taken everything valuable." Cynthia's words had a valid point but the reason Itsuki was so sure is because the internet doesn't have anything about Aura. If Archaeologist had found anything about Aura then the whole world should have known about it.

"Still, we can explore this place. Maybe if we are lucky enough, we might find something." Cynthia nodded.

After eating dinner, Cynthia went to sleep while Itsuki with Zera went to search the ruins. Since Itsuki is blessed with stamina, he doesn't needs to sleep regularly.

Itsuki and Zera walked under the moonlight. Before leaving, Cinnabar Island Itsuki bought some torches for exploration.

'If had some kind technology which could scan the entire Rota city, then it would have been very easily to find the thing which I am looking for.

Itsuki and Zera entered the Rota town ruins. The town is empty. The buildings are old, broken, grasses; Veins are covering the cracked or broken walls.

"This is what a ghost town feels like. This place is a perfect for ghost type Pokémon but strangely there isn't any ghost type Pokémon."

Zeraora!

"Did you sense something?" Itsuki asked in surprise. Zera nodded and pointed at a certain direction.

Itsuki began to follow Zeraora while looking around. 'The temperature here is getting little warmer.' Itsuki noticed this change while walking.

Zera lead Itsuki to the center of the Rota town. At the center of the town is where the palace of Rota king located. But the whole Palace is half broken with different types of trees, plants etc growing on the walls, roads.

'This looks like ruins inside forest.'

.

After arriving at the center, Zera stopped and looked towards the palace. Itsuki also looked towards the palace and felt like someone was watching him and approaching him. This was the first time Itsuki was able to sense someone like this. The whole thing is very strange and unfamiliar to Itsuki.

"What is this feeling?"

Under the moonlight, an old, weak looking Lucario walked towards Itsuki and Zera. Behind that old and weak Lucario there was another small Riolu who was looking at Itsuki cautiously.

Lucario! [Who are you? Are you also an Aura guardian?]

"No, I am not. I came hoping to find something that which allows me to master Aura."

[I have lived almost for hundreds of years and this is the first time, I am seeing a human with so much Aura inside. Listen boy, you are born with very large Aura reserve, that's why you have more stamina than other people.]
