That's One Way To Make An Entrance...

The current situation was grave. Terrible even. Eh... probably anyway?

Toshinori Yagi, or better known as All Might, thought as he gazed at the dumbfounded faces of his three colleagues outside of a secure hospital room.

"Could you please repeat that? I think I misheard you." Mirai Sasaki, also known as Sir Nighteye, was the first to respond after correcting his glasses with his finger.

"No, there is no mistake. It was exactly as you heard." Toshinori said seriously, though even he couldn't believe his own words.

"If this is a joke, I can't say it's a very amusing one," Nighteye said, with some slight anger in his tone. Nighteye was a man who loved jokes, but this was by far the worst one he had ever heard.

Toshinori said nothing to that, as even he himself couldn't help thinking that it was nothing but a grim joke.

But it wasn't.

"You can't seriously expect us to believe you and that monster, both decided to just "give" your quirks to some random child that fell out of the sky!?" Nighteye finally lost his patience and raised his voice at his idol.

This situation was downright ridiculous. It made no logical sense. Forgetting the fact that All Might would carelessly let their only weapon against that monster be passed to a child. That All For One, the very same monster, would do the same before his "death" should have already raised several red flags.

That's right, even with his head supposedly smashed to pieces. No one believed for a second that he was truly dead. The clean-up crew had already reported his corpse missing from the scene a few hours ago.

Had it not been for the current situation, they would have already organized a search party to find the, hopefully, weakened villain before he had a chance to regain his strength. But the current situation took far more precedence.

"I agree with the brat, this is too much for a joke, Toshinori." Said Sorahiko Torino, better known as Gran Torino with a slight edge to his voice as he leveled a glare at his former student. Even though he knew the boy wouldn't lie about something this serious, he was actually hoping he just suddenly grew a dark sense of humor.

"Now, now, yelling will get us nowhere. Why don't you start from the beginning, Toshinori" said Nezu, some sort of mouse, dog, bear chimera, in a calm if maybe slightly cheerful tone. In reality, he was already trying to come up with several possible scenarios to explain what they had just been told, countermeasures, and how to best move forward in the future.

He firmly believed what they had just been told. Add on to the worldwide situation that accompanied the fight earlier that day, he was far more interested in the mysterious child unconscious in the room behind them.

Seeing as they weren't believing him, Toshinori decided it best to tell the entire story from the start, leaving nothing out. Maybe going over things again would help him better understand the situation as well.

"Well, the battle between All For One and I had already reached the midpoint…"

(A few hours ago)

"Haha, you're certainly more capable than your predecessors, All Might!" The gray-haired man chuckled in amused disdain as he stood up from a crater while dusting off his slightly torn suit. Although he appeared undamaged, it was really just his high-speed regeneration kicking into place. Though it was noticeably slower than earlier in the battle.

"All For One, today is the day I put an end to your reign of terror!!" All Might said with a vicious scowl on his usually smiling face. He too wasn't uninjured, but so far it wasn't anything he couldn't handle.

They were both currently alone in an abandoned industrial compound. All Might spent a great deal of effort to get them there to avoid civilian collateral damage. He originally thought it would be harder, but All For One was being strangely cooperative on that front.

Of course, it made him suspicious, but he couldn't abandon the perfect opportunity to be rid of his nemesis on a mere suspicion. It was more than likely the man was just overconfident and wanted to defeat him when he wasn't holding back. Many villains had similar thoughts and hated winning when their opponent wasn't at their best.

It only made crushing them all the more satisfying, or so they would say.

The two continued to trade earth-shattering blow after blow, with All For One occasionally firing off combinations of the plethora of medium to long-range quirks at his disposal.

One thing All Might was able to quickly notice was the man's clear lack of combat experience. He held immense strength, enough to rival his own, but he clearly wasn't used to using most of the abilities at his disposal. He instead, opts for the strategy of just overwhelming heroes with pure power.

Simple, but very effective.

Their blows could be felt and heard for several miles from their location. The winds generated were so fierce that even the news choppers that ignored the public safety commissions warning to not approach the area could not get close enough to so much as even get a picture of the climactic confrontation.

The area in the immediate vicinity was all but destroyed by their fight. The various buildings that made up the compound all but demolished as smoke and fire raged all around them. Only to be swiftly blown out by the winds their blows generated. Of course, that was only until All For One would use another quirk that restarted the burning once again.

As their epic fight continued, suddenly the world itself felt like it was shaking. Originally chalking it up to their battle or an earthquake, they both wanted to continue without giving it any mind.

When, just as suddenly, the sky itself was torn asunder. The sudden pressure they felt made their knees buckle and almost forced them both to the ground. Looking up, they both were filled with a sense of awe and wonder as they peered into infinity.

It was a sight visible for almost half the world. Those looking up could observe the vast unknown. They could see countless shapes and colors that they previously could have never imagined. Even those previously blind could abruptly see as if it healed their eyes of all damage.

Beyond the horizon, many could see countless stars and galaxies caking the vast unknown. The longer they started, the more they could see. Although it should have been impossible, they could make out countless other worlds, planes, timelines, and realities.

None knew how, but they instinctively understood.

They were looking at the entire omniverse.

This world wasn't the only one as in various other worlds they too observed the same phenomenon.

Some felt they had even reached enlightenment for a brief moment as they contemplated their place in the universe.

The event lasted a grand total of 10 seconds before the sky healed itself as if nothing had ever happened. Later on, many would come to find out that someone had wiped almost all traces of the event from any form of recording barring the people's memories themselves.

As the sky mended, returning to its previous orange-ish red hue, both All Might and All For One, like many others around the world, were left standing there, gazing up at the sky in pure wonder.

While both stood there contemplating the meaning behind such an event, they both noticed something strange. Just before the tear closed, something fell from within. And it was coming straight down towards them!

All For One was the first to react. He couldn't tell exactly what it was, but he knew he had to get his hands on it. It didn't matter what it was. Anything that could have appeared from that scene had to be worth something!

He immediately pointed his arm at All Might and fired off the strongest blast of compressed air he could at the unsuspecting hero!

Completely caught off guard by the sucker punch, the symbol of peace was rocketed off in the opposite direction through multiple barely intact buildings.

All For One then used a combination of air cannon, spring-like limbs, airwalk, and a few others to propel himself into the air to catch the slowly descending object.

As All Might pulled himself out of the rubble, he could only stare in despair as all for one retrieved the falling item.

All For One soon made a rough landing, cracking the ground. His face adorned a sinister smile as he gazed upon the wrapped-up bundle. It wasn't very big, probably around the size of a small child.

"Kufufu, now let's see what you are!" He said with vicious glee before proceeding to unwrap the bundle to the horror of the slightly injured symbol of peace, as he was forced to wait with bated breath. He didn't want to risk attacking without first knowing what the item was, lest he ends up causing more problems by accident.

"Hmm?" All For One hummed in a slightly confused tone as he raised a single eyebrow.

Finally getting the top part unwrapped, All Might and All For One's faces returned to complete bafflement as a pair of long brown ears greeted him.

"A-A child?" All Might said in confusion. Out of all the possibilities for what the mysterious item could have been, a child was not very high on the most probable list.

"How interesting…" All For One said with a mysterious smile, looking as if he just found the most interesting toy in the world.

The child had medium-length brown hair and a pair of long pointed ears with dark brown interiors. With the bundle of cloth it was wrapped in slightly undone, a little lower, a bushy tail suddenly popped out and wavered about slightly. It was the same brown as its hair with a heart-shaped cream-colored tip.

All in all, it looked very cute. Its face was just young enough to still give off a slightly androgynous feeling, but it clearly looked more feminine than masculine, giving a hint to its gender.

All Might felt a chill go down his spine as he looked at his arch-foe. He knew he couldn't let him get ahold of the child, or who knows how he'd corrupt the poor thing. Assuming it was a child in the first place, that is...

"Eve...?"

Just before he could make his move, the child struggled a bit, then opened its brown eyes and let out an absolutely adorable little noise.

It looked around a bit, clearly confused by the situation, before setting its gaze upwards to the stunned stiff All For One.

"Eve?" Again letting out the cute noise, she turned her head slightly to the side, likely in an effort to indicate her confusion. One of her ears even slightly tilted to the side with her head. All For One shuddered a bit before his eyes took on a slightly pink hue, unnoticeable by all but the confused child in his arms.

"Oh-"

"Oh?" All Might mirrored in confusion.

"OOOOHH!! Aren't you just the most adorable thing in the world!? You can call me, Sensei- NO! You can call me Ojisan!!" All For One suddenly shouted in passionate glee, seemingly unable to see anything else around him except for this child. [A/N: quick question, do you guys prefer English or Japanese titles (i.e. Uncle = Ojisan // Sister = Onee-san) I'll probably do a combination of both because I really like being able to differentiate levels of familiarity and respect with honorifics, but if no one wants them, I'll just do what I can]

"E-Eve?" The girl seemed stunned at his sudden passion and let out a confused cry at the man's abrupt demand.

"Hehe, Eve, huh? Is that your name, little one? Very cute, how fitting for a creature such as yourself." All For One completely ignored the girl's confusion and continued doting on her at his own pace.

All Might on the other hand had absolutely no idea what was going on anymore. One minute he was in a life or death struggle with arguably the strongest villain on the planet, and now here he was, simply wondering if he should call child protective services and have his strange foe put on some kind of list...

"Hehe, how about I give you a gift? I was saving it for a different experiment, but I'm sure you can make much better use of it! It's a copy of my own quirk! Well, isn't that amazing!? Your uncle is very nice, isn't he!! Hahaha!" He said with the same infatuated smile as if he didn't just drop the biggest bomb of the day onto his arch enemy.

All Might barely had time to register that comment before his ears were assaulted with the sudden pained cry of the mysterious dog...fox(?) girl that fell from the sky.

"O-Oi! What do you think you're doing, bastard!" All Might suddenly shouted before sprinting forward to save the poor child from the madman's clutches. Luckily and strangely enough, All For One seemed to be completely focused on the child and had forgotten about All Might in the process.

"Detroit Smash!" All Might said after pulling back his arm and launching a fierce blow to the face of the villain. Of course, he didn't forget to use his free hand to secure the child before any more harm could befall her.

All For One, on the other hand, was sent flying through several already partially demolished buildings. All Might took the opportunity to finally get a good look at the child.

"V-Vee…" she said, looking up with tear-stained puppy dog eyes

"Ah-" That was about all he got out before the world suddenly went pink and he was assaulted with the intense desire to spoil this adorable little creature!

"OH My! How can anyone be this adorable!? Don't listen to that old man, you can call me Uncle Might instead! AhaHaHa!! Tell me, how would you like to inherit my quirk, One For All!? That sounds much better than something from that old fossil, right!?" All Might said with his signature wide smile while looking at the girl as if she were the most priceless treasure in the world.

"V-Vee…" the girl answered with her strange cry that somehow conveyed both annoyance and befuddlement at the same time.

Paying her no mind, All Might, not wanting to be outdone by his nemesis, didn't hesitate to take a drop of his blood from one of the many wounds that adorned his figure and immediately stuck it in her mouth, as if he were afraid she might refuse him.

"!!!"

The girl was completely surprised and panicked at the sudden intrusion and almost bit down on his finger if he hadn't taken it back just as quickly.

"All Might...What exactly do you think you're doing…" Suddenly a cold but enraged voice made itself known from behind the pair. Looking back, All Might noticed it was the guy he previously knocked away from his precious angel.

Seeing that it was nobody important, he quickly forgot about the annoyance and went back to dotting on the little cutie.

"Do not ignore me, whelp! Unhand my princess this instant!" All Might thought he heard a fly buzzing in his ear, but he quickly put it aside without a second thought.

The next thing he knew, his arms felt lighter, and there was a stinging sensation on his left cheek. That was before he suddenly found himself buried under a building's worth of steel and rubble.

He was confused. One minute he was admiring his precious little angel, then the next he wasn't. It didn't make any logical sense. It was a complete mystery.

Deciding it was best to understand what happened, All Might used all his strength to blow the offending rubble away so he could better search for his little angel.

It was upon doing that he discovered a horrifying sight. That strange nobody, All Four Fun was it? Seemed to be in possession of his little angel. And singing her a lullaby no less!

How dare he!!?

At that point, the previous pink atmosphere twisted into a blood-red as All Might looked at him with pure rage on his face.

"Oi... Bastard, unhand my little angel! You want to die!? AH!!" All Might said with pure fury taking over his mind.

All For One only looked back briefly and sneered before continuing to serenade his little princess, who seemed a little lost at the moment.

At that point, All Might lost it and attacked the usurper like a wild animal.

Not to be outdone, All For One returned fire and their epic battle continued where it left off. If not for slightly different reasons...

At some point, although both were fighting for the same thing, they both seemed to have forgotten about it all the same. It wasn't until the battle was over and All For One was one head shorter, that All Might remembered the little girl and found her slumped over in a corner somewhere with a nasty bump on her head.
