Pokémon: Knowledge is Power(On Hiatus until further notice.)

A middle-aged man has met his demise in an asteroid impact near ground zero, dying a glorious death. However, his journey hasn't ended, but only just begun, as he reincarnated into the world of Pokémon. Armed with only the knowledge about the show, without the extra data or cheats. He'll explore the world and make new friends and enemies. His path will cross others, but it's mainly about his point of view. Pokémon belongs to Nintendo. I take no credit for their series. And this image isn't mine, either. (Check out my novel Scroll Originators Journey if you love extremely dark novels)

Training at Night and Catastrophe

Vulpix and Tentacool both looked at each other.

"Tenta, Tent, Tentacool."[We should continue to train during the night.] Tentacool stated before beginning to ponder.

"Vulp, Vulpix."[No, I trained enough already. I want to sleep now.] Vulpix disagreed while shaking her head.

"Tentacool."[What Is your motivation for growing stronger?] Tentacool asked, changing the topic.

"Vulpix? Vulpix."[Huh? Well, I want to impress and surprise Ignacio with my progress. However, my achievements today weren't meaningful.] Vulpix replied, discouraged.

"Tentacool."[Well, perhaps if you train at night as well, you'll have more progress.]

"Vulpix."[I now think I should. What is your motivation?]

"Tentacool."[To protect Ignacio from harm.] Tentacool stated

"Vulpix."[Protect him? But nothing ever tried attacking him."]

"Tentacool."[He told me this world is perilous. And I promised I would as well.]

"Vulpix."[Okay, I'll try to train as well.]

"Tentacool."[Alright, in my opinion, we should train ourselves until we can't anymore. And then go to sleep.]

"Vulpix."[Okay, that works.]

Afterward, Vulpix and Tentacool trained for three hours before falling asleep beside Ignacio.

The following day at four, Ignacio woke up beside Vulpix and Tentacool.

"Good morning Vulpix and Tentacool." Ignacio greeted before getting up and putting away his sleeping bag.

Vulpix and Tentacool both awoke and greeted Ignacio as well. Afterward, he gave them breakfast while he ate some red berries he found.

"Are you ready for training?" Ignacio asked while grinning

"Tentacool!" Tentacool nodded

"Vulpix." Vulpix agreed as well.

"Alright, let's continue the same schedule until we reach Pewter City. What do you think?" Ignacio questioned

Tentacool and Vulpix nodded and began training.

'I'll try to absorb sunlight through my gems to sustain myself as I try to learn my moves.' Tentacool thought

Afterward, a week passed, and during this duration. Tentacool and Vulpix trained during the day and secretly at night. And their efforts weren't fruitless. However, they still didn't learn the moves despite their efforts.

"Vulpix." Vulpix woke up disappointed.

"Tentacool." Tentacool stated unhappily and saddened with her results.

"It's alright. It'll happen eventually. However, I'm unsure how we will beat the Pewter City gym with our limited means." Ignacio comforted before placing his hand under his chin.

"Tentacool?" Tentacool asked

"Well, I heard it is rock type gym. Hence we're at a disadvantage until you learn Brine or Rain Dance. And Vulpix, sadly, none of your moves are effective against rock types. So we are in a pickle." Ignacio stated before he began pondering more.

Tentacool sighed before she again tried to visualize the most horrifying Thunder Storm she possibly could and Brine simultaneously. However, this time, she began to dance as clouds started to form in the sky. However, they seemed to be monstrous in size. Meanwhile, a pillar of blue water shot out and hit a tree, punching a small hole before stopping.

"You did it, Tentacool!" Ignacio stated while smiling.

Tentacool was about to reply. However, she stopped and looked at the sky. Her move formed a massive thunderstorm, and it began to rain while lightning flashed.

"Vulpix!" Vulpix hurriedly hid underneath a tree while staring at the massive thunderstorm in horror.

"Vulpix return." Ignacio stated as he held out her Pokéball.

Vulpix nodded and returned. However, things were getting worse as lightning struck a large tree nearby in two.

"Caterpie." The first of many Caterpie started running away from the tree.

"What's going on?!" Ignacio asked. However, when he turned his head, his eyes dilated as he saw a giant funnel cloud forming.

Tentacool also turned around and reacted the same way.

"Let's run away! Tentacool return!" Ignacio yelled, holding out the Pokéball.

Tentacool nodded before entering her Pokéball. Afterward, Ignacio sighed as he began running toward Pewter City. However, he tripped over someone a little further on the path.

"Ow!" Ignacio stated as he fell forward but caught himself.

"I should be the one complaining. Watch where you step!" Meowth stated before jumping away.

"He seems to be a Pokémon trainer. Wait, It's time for the team rocket motto." James realized before he stood next to Jessie.

'Oh no, not them!' Ignacio thought. However, he had more pressing worries than Team Rocket right now.

"Prepare for trouble." Jessie stated.

"And make it double." James spoke.

"Zip it! Im running from something!" Ignacio stated before looking where the tornado was forming.

"Don't interrupt our motto, twerp." Meowth warned

"Something is coming our way!" Ignacio stated as he looked behind himself and saw the gigantic tornado starting to form.

"I don't care. It can't be worse than us. Now hand over your Pokémon!" Meowth yelled

After Meowth spoke, ripping and tearing emanated from behind Ignacio. It was deafening and obnoxious. Subsequently, the four turned around, and their eyes widened.

They gazed upon a tornado heading towards them while it uprooted scores of trees. And many Pokémon were trapped inside, including a horde of Beedrills.

Ignacio immediately booked it past the stunned trio without looking back.

"James, are we going to blast off." Jessie asked as her face turned pale.

"If we don't outrun this tornado, we will." James stated.

"Then run for your lives!" Meowth yelled before running in after Ignacio.

"Right!" Jessie yelled running

James also ran too.

As Ignacio and the Team Rocket trio ran, the tornado grew more intense as it began throwing boulders and tree trunks at them.

Ignacio turned his head as a tree trunk span in the wind towards him. However, he jumped to the side, dodging it barely, as it smashed into another tree.

Afterward, he quickly pulled out his Pokédex

"Is this Rain Dance move normal?" Ignacio asked.

"No available information." The Pokédex read

'Dang, it's not discovered yet in Kanto. Wait, then Professor Acacia has knowledge no one else has right now.' Ignacio thought before dodging another tree.

"Wait for us!" Meowth yelled as he began panting.

"We are still going to grab your Pokémon." James yelled

"Stay away!" Ignacio yelled before he abruptly changed direction, heading deeper into the forest.

"Hey, wait for us!" Jessie yelled.

However, before they could follow Ignacio, a giant fallen tree flew into a group of others. Consequently, they all fell behind Ignacio, blocking the path.

"He got away." James stated, annoyed.

"Who cares! If we stop, we'll lose our lives!" Jessie yelled, continuing to run in the original direction.

"Wait for us!" Meowth yelled, hurriedly following Jessie.

"Don't forget me!" James yelled, following Meowth.

Meanwhile, Ignacio wasn't having much luck as he had to dodge many falling trees and boulders. Eventually, he collapsed as a tree fell next to him. However, the tornado stayed on its current course, leaving Ignacio behind.

'That was close.' Ignacio thought before he fainted.
