The training she needed now needs to be leveled up a bit with her speed getting nerfed. I am also looking for Grass-type moves TM as they would be helpful.

TM helps a lot, for example, Ivysaur needs to be at level 50 to learn Solar beam on its own by training, with TM an Ivysaur can learn the same at level 22. There is also a long-range seed bomb at level 20.

I need to make her biggest weakness, which is agility into her strength.

Opening the automatic door to the Pokemon center, came my opponent from the Rookies league match, Fan Kokiri if I remember correctly.

"Oh I am not fighting the Gym leader, I will participate in the Rookies tournament only, after that I have to move to the Johto region with my family." He answered and left to enter the Pokemon center. Strange kid but powerful Pokemon.

I was walking towards the outskirts of Pewter city, here Ivysaur and I would be training our bodies to raise our Endurance, maybe I could train to get six packs, they would look cool.

I placed an order for Protect and Light screen TMs for chance, both were priced at 10,000 and 60,000 Pokedollars respectively, which may be a lot for others but for me were dirt cheap.

Also, Bullet seed, however weak is a ranged, priority attack given its speed of launching makes it hard to avoid and is without any preparation time. At 30,000 Pokedollars that's a cheap attack that would work out nicely for my Ivysaur.

It has been three days since our defeat, and while our training was not showing major signs of improvement, we were relentlessly following our regime.

Today was the Totodile egg delivery date, so I had come down from my solitude with my Pokemon to the Pewter City Pokemon center. Actually, the egg had already been delivered yesterday night, but only the Pokemon center had the means to hatch it, the incubator. So I asked Nurse Jot to take care of it for me before it hatches.

Again the automatic door to the pokemon center opened on its own, from which came out someone I knew. It was Ash and his Pikachu. The plot had progressed quite a bit.

I think this is the episode where they had been defeated by Brock and now go train for a week under the tutelage of Brock's father.

Not that it matters to me, I should fetch my Totodile. Nurse Joy noticed me and brought out a Pokeball. Looks like I missed the most important part, the hatching. This is sad, I was excited to see how a Totodile comes out of its egg.

"The Egg hatched?"

"Just a minute ago." "I am quite unlucky."

"Don't worry he has not seen another living being before you, his bond will be secured."

"Oh, I just wanted to watch the hatching." Nurse Joy was surprised, she was not used to someone caring about anything else except the bond of a hatching pokemon, well I am different than those, even without the bond I would have made him join my team.

I took out the Pokeball from its casing and was exiting the building when a girl, not taller than me, with orange dyed hair came into the center, or literally barged into it. Does she need to use force to open automatic doors?

She went forward to throw a tantrum before Nurse joy. I just left to my solitude again to train and introduce Totodile to Ivysaur and Chancey.

Reaching the top of the mountain, Ivysaur and Chancey were excited to see the new member.

I brought the Totodile out once we were alone. The Totodile was smaller than what I expected, but it was only one day old. I will be training Ivysaur harder as our main battle force for now, as Aerodactly will be freed in a month's time from Granpa Canyon, and as we are now we stand no chance of catching it.

I expect Totodile in one month to reach a maximum of level 15, and Ivysaur level 24. This will allow IVysaur to learn Solar beam. Chancey, as our League friend advised me to, would be spending her time learning defensive moves protect and light screen

I touched the totodile's forehead, it looked at me with confusion, which became surprised, and finally, a smile formed in his/her mouth.

Type - Water/Dark [so many comments about why this is a dark type. Because this is fanfic and the idea of dark type ferraligator sounds better in my head]

Ability - Torrent (Powers up water-type attacks when in a pinch); Sheer Force (hidden ability) (removes additional effects to increase attack damage)

Gender - Male

Rating - Dark Silver (B+)

Moves - Scratch(C)

That is acceptable, the rest lies on me as a trainer to bring the maximum of his potential. I have already failed with Bulbasaur once, making her weak in her Agility department, for him I would carefully plan the development and his moves.
