Athena Dawn

'The Rising...'

Athena Dawn ran down the long open field at a fast speed. In one hand she held her stuffed red animal she always had with her at all times. In the other hand, she held her friend Davi Hawkers, wild looking, electric ruby red guitar that he always had with him at all time, since it held his magic weapons, and also made him feel like a rock star.

Yeah, that thing.

"Damn it, Davi... Making me do all this damn hard work just to get you back on your feet... It's not even worth it you big stupid!" Athena sighed as her eye twitched. Despite that though she continued to move down the large open field outside of the city heading towards the large prison/Guild Hall of the Silver Ravens that rested in the distance. "Silver Ravens you jackasses. Going out of your way to place your Guild Hall super far away..."

"You know you're quite brave running all the way out here on your own little girl... Our Guild recently caught a big bad monster... It really wasn't that hard to capture him you know..." A sly voice announced. "Hello little Athena Dawn."

Athena came to a stop as she looked around. Her nose twitched slightly as she smirked. "Invisibility doesn't work on me." She announced slashing her hand down. A wave of lighting crackled out but the lighting seemed to be blocked by something. "My senses are several times greater than any animal on this planet. I can hear your heart beat, and smell the waves of blood lust coming off of you all."

The dust cleared reviling two men in full knights armor with the Silver Ravens symbol on the front of their armor. They both wore helmets with horns coming out. The short one who stood in the back had a helmet with two horns on it. The one in the front who had been talking had three horns on his.

"Ahh... I would have expected nothing less of Athena Dawn." The three-horned Knight smirked. In his hands, he held a large metal stick with a red gem on it which seemed to be glowing.

"So. You've heard of me?" Athena smirked.

"How could we not. Youngest child of Orion Storm, and Athena Dawn, who you were named after. Athena was a powerful dragon tamer and your father Orion... Well... He was one of this Countries greatest Lighting Wizards, and a powerful Wizard he truly was strong. He was even a member of the Shining Sentinels, until he went missing. Everyone assumed you would join that Guild following in his footsteps. Then a few years later we saw that you had joined a Bandit group comprised of evil and dark Arcane Knights going around summoning demons and foul Magic-Beasts... Worse yet... You turned down the opportunity to join the Shining Sentinels because that boy Davi Hawker was turned down. You turned down something millions would kill for because your boyfriend wasn't good enough-"

"Whoa!" Athena said holding her arms up in an X shape. "Listen pal. Davi ain't my boyfriend. He's hardly my friend."

"Whatever the case you wasted your potential. And now here you are wanting to join Phoenix Flight."

"So?"

Phoenix Flight. A Guild known for taking on nearly anyone. Be they a human or a non-human. They truly were the worst thing in this Country.

Honestly, for years, the public was able to for the most part just ignore the weird and vile guild, filled with its disgusting Non-Human members. However, once someone as famous as Tori Kaen joined up... It was only a matter of time before it got more and more attention. And the public didn't like what they saw... A Guild that isn't ashamed to use underhand tactics, and accept those with a dark past...

"I'm quite proud of my reputation." Athena laughed. "After all. Phoenix Flight sounds like the perfect Guild, for Davi, Oliver, and I. You can say whatever you want but it sounds like the perfect story to me!"

The Knight with the three horns let out a hiss. "Pathetic. Do you even know who you're dealing with? Do you even know who we are?"

"Not really?" Athena said. "But. I do know that in this Country there are around twenty Guilds in total. The Shining Sentinels, Crossed Scythes and Umbra Mortis, are three of the top Guilds, tied for first place. Phoenix Flight is of course ranked the lowest, because of course it is. You Silver Raven guys though... You're only a little bit above the Phoenix guys. As in one rank higher. Honestly, you guys are even sadder than they are when you think about it. At least that Guild is in last place and people have heard about it. No one cares about the Guild that is just above last place. You're even more pathetic than the guys you call pathetic."

"Watch your tongue you damn bastard!" The Knight with two horns screamed speaking up for the first time. He drew his sword but Athena merely stared him down making him wobble slightly as he let out a small gulp but managed to steel his nerves.

"You really wanna draw your weapon on me?" Athena asked. Her red lion glowed forming her red gauntlets around her arms. Yellow lightning began to crackle around her as she gave a half smirk and brought her leg down stabbing it into the ground sending out small waves of lighting around her. "Because I don't mind, but you should know I don't hold back."

"I am Lord Drei." The Knight with three horns announced pointing his staff forward. "Leader of the Three Horned Knights! We are a Squad within the Majestic Guild that is the Silver Ravens! And I promise we will not let criminal scum like you to posses such a powerful object! That red guitar! We know it is a Relic of the ten Devil Orbs! Give it up! Magic that Rare and Powerful should never exist in your hands! It rightfully belongs within a Guild. My Guild."

Athena sighed as her eye began to twitch once more. "First of all, this is my dumbass friends so no you can't have it. At least not unless he wants to give it to you guys. Second of all... I have no interest in this fight if we can avoid it. I plan on joining that Guild as I said earlier. I'd rather not beat the crap out of two other Arcane Knights if I can help it."

"You wouldn't be able to beat us."

"Really?" Athena asked cocking her head to the side.

"Yeah!" The Knight with the two horns announced. He backed up slightly when Athena turned to look at him once more causing him to gulp slightly. "W... We managed to arrest a Vice-Captain!"

"Oh really? You illegally arrested a Vice-Captain?" Athena asked.

"That's where you're wrong," Drei said. "We never illegally locked him up. In fact, he accepted and came with us himself."

"You expect me to believe that?"

"Oh but it's the truth," Drei smirked. "You see. We made a deal. A few miles from here is some silly little village with a sword through a tree. Turns out that tree is important to them and they would die if they couldn't get it out. We agreed to get the Bitch of a Princess who stabbed it in there, to pull it out and save the village if he stayed in his cell like a good Non-Human for a month without food or water."

"Ahh, so you lied."

"Of course we did. You think we can order the Princess around. That Village won't even last a month."

"Hmm. I'm gonna kill you now." Athena said casually.

Drei let out a small laugh. "I don't think you can-"

Athena suddenly appeared in front of the man slamming her foot into the guy's head. He was sent flying rolling through the grass as all three of his horns shattered off. Before the two-horned Knight could react Athena brought her elbow back brutally slamming it into the guy's chest and shattering the armor on him leaving him in just his boxers and his two horned helmet. She flicked him in the gut making the guy fall back coughing up blood.

"I think you guys are forgetting," Athena smirked. She dropped the ruby red guitar as a wave of thunderous yellow energy exploded off of her. "Unlike my friend! I'm actually strong." A massive lightning bolt slammed down from the ground next to the three-horned knight nearly ripping him in half but just barely missed. "That Alion guy and the rests. I could beat them. Davi ain't weak, but I had to brawl with literal monsters most of my life. Giant beasts, and foul devils."

"H... How does anyone not associated with a Guild have this much power..." He backed up in fear grabbing his staff. "She's like a beast... I feel so much Mana coming off of her. Don't tell me she's been toying around with everyone she fought... It's like staring down a dragon..."

"Now." Lighting cracked off of Athena as her eyes bore into the man's. "Give up? Release that guy you captured and leave us alone. You might be able to beat Davi but I'm nothing like him or anyone else. I'm Athena Dawn. He might be able to rival me by powering up and using those silly weapons, but that's the difference. All this power is mine."

"I'll admit..." Drei laughed. "In a fight. You'd slaughter anyone in our Guild save of our Master, and Vice-Captain... You're lucky they, as well as nearly everyone else in the Guild, is gone."

"So you give up then-"

"But. I've never been much of a straight-up brawler you see." Drei slowly stood up. "In fact. Many could say my specialty isn't even in magic. It's in charming wild beasts!"

"What's that suppose-" Athena's eye went wide as she clutched at her head. She yelled in pain falling to her knees.

"It's as I thought! You're more beast than girl! You might be strong but you're not very bright! My Beast Control Magic will bend you to my will in no time!" Drei laughed. "Zwei. You can get back up. The fights over."

The downed knight with two horns, and now a set of broken armor let out a groan as he stood up slowly. "That attack broke some ribs for sure..." He gasped out. "And I need new armor..."

"Who cares. You saw that power!" Drei laughed. "With me controlling her we can use it to do whatever we want... And with that Relic and the power it has, we could use to make our Guild a real threat. I can take over... I'll take us to the top! I'll be the new Master."

"Yeah..." A comedic voice said from behind the man. "Not happening. Give me back my Guitar Athena!" The voice of Davi announced as he went flying past the two Knights and kicked Athena sending her flying back.

The two Knights stared at Davi as he grabbed his guitar and spun it around giving a smile. It glowed for a brief second as it changed and turned into his first sword. He pointed it at the two knights as his shark tooth smile grew and his veins lit up with a blue energy.

"H... He's alive."

"You guys are so screwed." Oliver said holding Jakey up as he gave a small smile and walked over to the downed Athena who was letting out a small groan since she was kicked down by Davi.

"Davi Hawker. At your service."
