Path to Strength

This is the first book I am posting on this platform, so I ask for patience. My native language is not English, and I am not ashamed to say that I am using the so-called "Best Translator in the World" to help me with this work (DeepL translator). I was really trying to find fanfics that take place in the worlds of Baki, Kengan Ashura or the like, and although I found them, I only came across ones where the character gets supernatural powers that put him above any fighter from these worlds, and that frustrated me. A man needs to see two people fighting using their fists entirely, rather than creating interdimensional portals or something of that sort. So don't expect these kinds of powers here, because here there will just be the old way of solving problems. ---------------------------------------------------- It was a normal day for Yuji, going to school, then to the gym he was attending and finally home. A monotonous, but pleasant routine. There was no cause for pride, much less shame, so for the teenager that was enough. As always, everything was going as it should. That was until the moment when, looking in the mirror, the boy's whole perspective seemed to change. Facing someone who looked like him, but at the same time, was not him, Yuji sees himself in a similar world, but which is certainly not his. Crossover world of animes, including Tokyo Revengers, Baki, Kengan Ashura, Holyland, Hajime no Ippo and others that can easily be included in FF if readers have ideas.

Eugene's capture had been more peaceful than expected.

Mandeok and Yuseong hadn't really been a problem for Yuji, even when working together. In fact, it was quite surprising when they managed two hits before being completely destroyed.

Ryuhei just surrendered, since he knew he wouldn't stand much of a chance anyway.

Kenta Magami didn't even show any intention of fighting. Seeing Gun destroyed by Yuji left him satisfied, which made him feel like he owed the young fighter.

In fact, Kenta was more interested in joining Yuji. He saw it as a way of getting stronger faster, and with the fact that they were both Japanese, Kenta believed he could induce him to accept it.

Fortunately, Yuji wasn't so strict about his choice of allies.

What's more, Kenta was only 15, and strong enough to hold his own in a fight against someone of the Allied's level. With the right training, he could easily surpass Gun in a few years, since his talent was on a par with Hobin's.

Yuji wouldn't mind taking him under his wing if he swore loyalty.

"You really don't need to be so rigid all the time."

In the Workers' meeting room, Yuji turned to Kenta, who was standing guard at the entrance to the room.

"The man who's coming isn't someone you can even scratch at your current level, so it's pointless waiting around like this."

Frowning, Kenta lowered his gaze as he turned to Yuji. "I understand, but to prove my worth, I want to test myself against this opponent."

Yuji sighed and stood up in front of Kenta.

"That's not necessary. I can see your talent, so as long as you have no intention of betraying me in the future, I'll make sure you become strong enough that even someone of Gun's level is no more than a nuisance."

Kenta nodded in agreement, his eyes filling with admiration as he watched that powerful man encourage him.

"Besides, I didn't lie when I said you couldn't scratch the man who's on his way."

!

Kenta, barely able to react, was suddenly pushed to the side as something flew past him, his eyes widening as he had to move further away when an explosion threw countless pieces of debris around.

"To be more precise, I think this man would kill you with a single blow."

Landing next to Kenta, Yuji declared as he cracked a small smile, the smoke caused by the destruction slowly clearing to reveal two figures.

Two figures who, by revealing themselves completely, made Kenta recoil in intimidation.

"It seems to me that this generation really needs some manners, doesn't it, Manager Kim?"

"I believe so, boss."

Manager Kim and Tom Lee had arrived as the Workers' last hope.

"It seems to me that two well-known figures from generation zero have come to the rescue, haven't they?" Yuji crossed his arms as he looked at the two imposing men with a smug smile. "But I believe it was too late, after all, you took too long."

"What does that mean?" Manager Kim frowned, but Tom Lee didn't seem shaken by his words, the smile on his face never fading from his lips.

"Haha! Kid, do you think we're old fools? You wouldn't kill Eugene so soon, besides, why wait for us here if that's the case?"

Yuji scratched his chin as he listened to Tom Lee unravel it so easily, a sigh escaping his lips.

"I wouldn't be too sure about that." But Yuji didn't seem to want to give in to his lie, and pulling Eugene's bloodied glasses out of his pocket, he tossed it towards Tom Lee, who caught it with an analytical eye. "Actually, he opened his mouth more quickly than expected."

Tom Lee frowned, his dangerous eyes turning to a smiling Yuji.

"As for why I'm waiting, it's just a whim. I wanted to test myself against one of the most powerful men of generation 0." Yuji's attention suddenly turned to Manager Kim, who was eyeing him warily. "But I really didn't expect you to come with reinforcements. Well, it'll be more of a challenge."

Tom Lee stared at Yuji for several seconds, but detecting no sign of lies in his expression, the older man sighed.

"I understand." Declaring reassuringly, he began to remove his clothes. "Kid, it took me a long time to finally find what I was looking for."

"And the Workers allowed me to find the man I was looking for."

Throwing his clothes away, Tom Lee wore only his briefs, his powerful body exposed.

"But then you come along and destroy them. You know, Eugene didn't even tell me where they moved Jinyoung. I'm kind of desperate at the moment."

Untying his hair, Tom Lee let it fall all over his face, his face hardening into a furious expression that made even Kim swallow.

"Then don't blame me if I kill you."

Yuji nodded in understanding, his smile widening as he took a stance.

"I understand. But do you really think you can offer me that much danger, old man?"

!

Jumping back to escape a scratch, Yuji watched as the ground beneath his feet was torn up with ease.

"Kid, I'm not in the mood for jokes."

Yuji frowned, his smile disappearing as he understood the gravity of the situation.

Manager Kim, seeing Tom Lee so serious, understood that this was no longer a situation that could be reversed so easily.

It would end with the defeat of one of the two, so he preferred not to get involved, and would continue to do so if Tom Lee won in the end.

'Will this boy be able to stand up to the boss? I heard he was strong enough to stop the Workers' war and the Big Deal, but will he be strong enough to survive it...?

Well, I'll have to wait and see.'
