And Yuji Shinakawa, he was definitely one of those people.

Blocking a sharp punch, Yuji staggered backwards with a smile, his arms trembling from the force of the attack as he immediately jumped backwards to dodge another punch that flew like a cannonball.

Tom Lee could tell with just a quick glance that the boy in front of him was in no way like any other opponent he had faced in his life.

He was strong, and even though he hadn't attacked yet, Tom Lee could say with complete certainty that if he was hit even once, it would be enough to defeat him.

Grabbing the Young Fighter's wrist, Tom Lee threw him away with a single swing of his arm, his body exploding towards him to keep up as he prepared to attack.

Fortunately for Tom Lee, the boy didn't seem to have any intention of fighting seriously any time soon, so he had a chance to put an end to all this before he put his claws out.

Receiving a full punch in his defense, Yuji gritted his teeth as he struggled to stop his momentum, his body being dragged backwards before coming to a stop.

But as he seemed to catch his breath, his eyes widened as a shadow loomed in front of him, his head lifting to find Tom Lee already in front of him.

'That old man...'

Jumping backwards to escape the man's grasp, Yuji clenched his teeth as a few cuts opened up on his shoulder, the shape of the wounds resembling the claws of a wild animal.

'He's strong!

Smiling as he saw Tom Lee about to advance again, Yuji prepared himself this time, his hands opening to resemble claws.

'But if that's all you're going to show me, old man...'

Boom!

Running past Yuji as he attacked, Tom Lee's eyes widened when he didn't feel his fingers tearing through flesh as they should.

'So we're done here.

Staring wide-eyed as a bolt of pain struck his body, Tom Lee slowly turned his gaze downwards to see five cuts suddenly open up on his abdomen.

"I understand. So you're even more dangerous than expected."

Tightening the muscles in his abdomen, Tom Lee stopped the bleeding completely, his animalistic gaze slowly turning to find Yuji waving his hand to get rid of the blood on his fingers.

"Old man, I'm not considered the legend of the second generation on a whim."

Turning to Tom Lee, Yuji squeezed his shoulder and shook him, as if his torn flesh meant nothing.

"Currently, I can proudly say that there is no one in Korea who can face me in an equal battle." Placing his feet firmly on the ground, Yuji let his arms drop as he lowered his stance. "It's not arrogance, it's just the plain truth. Maybe that's one of the curses of being strong."

"Having the ability to recognize when there are no opponents who can entertain you if you really take it seriously."

Tom Lee frowned, his eyes turning to the ground for a moment at the words of the boy in front of him.

"I don't want to belittle you, old man. You're strong, certainly one of the strongest I've had the pleasure of meeting in this country.

But I've already beaten opponents of your level several times."

Tom Lee remained silent, a sigh escaping his lips as he raised his head to face Yuji. "I see your point kid."

Opening his eyes wide when Tom Lee suddenly disappeared, Yuji immediately threw his torso backwards to escape the man's fingers, a small scratch appearing on his chin.

"But I'm not like your past opponents."

Receiving a full punch to the face, Yuji was thrown backwards until he collided with the wall, his eyes narrowing as Tom Lee gave him no room to breathe, appearing in front of him once again and attacking with his claw-like fingers.

"Old man."

But to Tom Lee's surprise, instead of the sensation of flesh being torn, the man instead had his fingers gripped by an overwhelming force, his teeth clenching as he tried to free himself.

"It's like I said."

Frowning, Tom Lee slowly raised his head to find two black orbs staring at him with an intensity that made even the hairs on the back of the man's neck stand on end.

"That's the curse of the strongest."

Receiving a punch right in the stomach, Tom had his feet taken off the ground, his expression hardening as he immediately tried to counterattack with his claws, only to have his face hit by another punch that drove him into the ground, crushing him.

'What's that?' Manager Kim's eyes widened in surprise.

Tom Lee, with blood dripping from his nose, stood up with a single impulse, but before he could locate his opponent, a powerful impact hit his chin, his vision going dark for a moment as his body began to approach the ground.

'The boss is...'

But regaining consciousness at the last moment, Tom Lee stopped his fall with his hands.

'Being completely dominated?!'

About to stand up, the zero-generation prodigy's eyes widened when he felt a hand land on his shoulder, his body doing a complete spin in the air, before he received a kick to the face that sent him flying across the room like a bullet.

Manager Kim, watching the fight unfold, was about to intervene, but Kenta Magami was quick to get in front of him. Even though the younger karateka knew he had no chance against the veteran, he still wouldn't allow Yuji's fight to be interrupted.

"Have you had enough, old man?"

Tom Lee, with blood streaming down his face, slowly climbed out of the rubble of the wall, his breathing heavy as he looked at the boy with a downcast expression.

"Very well, then we can talk now. I've had enough fun."

Tom Lee raised an eyebrow in confusion. After all, a few seconds ago, Tom Lee was fully intent on killing him.

"Let's talk about my plan to destroy Charles Choi."
