The Final Cards Are Played Part 3

General POV:

Shout out to BeegBeegYochi. May you find you a mercy pocket to duo with in your next game.

Shawn looked at the shivering figure of Kitsune with indifference. All that was done in the past days was all for Mamoru's sake. He knew that after this was done, he would get little more than a thank you from the Shimada. Likewise, he knew that this was decades, if not centuries worth of planning on the Hashimoto part. All down the drain in a single night with the final death of the sisters. But that didn't really matter now, with Kitsune's death.

He slowly walked towards her, the intent to kill fully ebbing off of him. Kitsune could only scoot back in utter fear as Shawn approached her. When he steps where she once was, he ignores the puddle of liquid at his feet.

He stands over her, ignoring her cries out for mercy as he poises to strike at her. Just as he was about to deliver the blow, he pauses. His eyes look towards the body of Yahiro.

"You were dead. I was sure of it." He says in disbelief.

She rises, somehow fully healed, as she begins flexing her arms. "Aye. I was dead to rights. I should be well on my way to the afterlife." She tells him.

"Oh, don't tell me." Shawn sighs, turning towards Yahiro.

She smiles from ear to ear. "That's right. I've received my blessing from my deity of the tiger."

Shawn sighs in frustration. Seeing how the fight with Otsuka went when she got her blessing, he didn't prolong the fight with Yahiro and just instantly killed her to not take any chances. But maybe perhaps, her death was the activation. Which sucked, because if that was the case, then the only option was to keep her alive.

Shawn focused his attention on her, trying to figure out what changed about her. Obviously, she had some form regeneration due to her looking prestige, as if she hadn't just fought. Ignoring Shawn, Yahiro looks to her panicked sister.

"Hey, hey. I know it was a terrible experience but, to wet yourself. Come on." She teases her.

"This isn't pee, I... I think my water broke." Kitsune manages to let out.

The room freezes as Shawn turns towards Kitsune. He noticed the way her muscles contracted around her stomach; she was indeed in labor. Despite this, Mamoru was the first one to take action, darting off towards Kitsune with his hand outstretched to kill her.

In a moment, Kitsune throws up her own hands, as a barrier forms around her. His hand collides with it, and he pulls his hand back in pain. Shawn decided to let Mamoru handle that situation, as he continued to focus his attention on Yahiro.

Taking a step, his foot doesn't hit the ground before he's right in front of her. Testing her, Shawn lashes out with a right hook, aimed at her jaw. Yahiro blocks it, by bringing up her arm and using her hand. On making contact, Shawn immediately notices the difference in strength. Despite him applying quite a bit of force behind that hit, Yahiro made no faces of pain or even the slightest budge.

Yahiro retaliated, kicking out at his side. Shawn instinctively used his newfound ability to control his body to harden his skin to block the attack. To his confusion, he felt her blow connect and realizes that if he hadn't done as he did, it would have no doubt injured him. Stepping back away from her, he shakes his head, refusing to accept what he's thinking of the situation. Sensing his distress, Yahiro decides to further frustrate him.

"Power. That's what the tiger represents. If you must know, he was impressed by the power that you've shown. He told me I never stood a chance as you apparently are an anomaly, whatever that means.

He blessed me with the means to bridge the gap between us, by giving me your power. And I must say, I'm impressed as well."

She holds up her hands, " I never knew a human could do this..." Her fingers sharpen, resembling claws as she looks at Shawn, her killing intent clear in the air. It was just as Shawn had feared. On her death, her blessing was activated, and she was given his newly awaked ability of Body Supremacy.

As you have full control of your body, it gives you the ability to do minor changes to it, for example, her turning her hands to claws. Shawn just didn't do it because he knew the blunt force of his hits would kill a person faster than the bleeding from slicing would.

Shawn and Yahiro engaged in a battle, that was arguably pointless. Any damage one would or could cause to the other, was instantly healed. All attacks that would have been fatal, of course, weren't. Realizing this, Yahiro smiled, and gave up on defense entirely.

While Yahiro was having the time of her life, Shawn was watching and planning carefully. He noticed the subtle differences between them. First, he was infinitely faster than her. Second, her healing was just about slower as well. Lastly, when it mattered most, the gap between their reaction time was widening. While at first, she was pulling her arms up to block an attack, or letting the attack hit her in an area it wouldn't hinder her, she was now intentionally just letting his attacks hit anywhere without moving at all.

He understood that this was due to the arrogance of having Body Supremacy, but the thought must have never crossed her mind. No matter how small the chance was, one could possibly kill the other. An idea struck his mind, but it was a long shot as he knew she was not stupid, but it needed to be tested anyway, as their little game of back and forth was going nowhere.

As she went and swiped at his eye with one of her claws, Shawn ducks below it, letting her hand sail past his head. Just before she could recover, Shawn grabs her hand and pulls, throwing her off balance. As she falls, he maneuvers his body to have her into a Fujiwara arm bar. She was curious as to his goal, as she knows that whatever damage he does, she could just regenerate anyway, plus she was no stranger to pain, and decided to play his little game.

Having her arm in-between his legs, Shawn pulls with all his strength. As expected, he was met with resistance, as her arm stopped moving. Shawn's muscles strained with effort as he continued pulling. Even after he hears a loud pop, he continues to pull. The sound of flesh tearing can be heard as blood squirts Shawn in the face as all his effort pays off. Rolling from her, he throws the stump of her arm away before going back in. But he suddenly senses something, causing him to look at Mamoru.

Before him, was Mamoru's limp body being held at his head by a omnic who looks at him with purple eyes.

"Hello Shawn."
