Origin Court: Accepting Disciples With A System

Yang Lujia, a sought-after, handsome, sports-driven, and seemingly perfect man with an outstanding family background was killed in a plane bombing orchestrated by his so-called pals. Before he even knew it, his soul traveled through space, and his supposed-to-be ending unexpectedly took turns. Unknowingly, he set foot into a world made up of five realms where strength matters most. Then, one day, following a mission, he started accepting disciples. [Ding! Eucharistic War Battleground

THE MOMENT HE opened his eyes, he knew he was dead.

Amidst the superficially brewed storm and sinister-looking place, he wondered if this was hell and whether coming here was the retribution he had brought upon himself after all the evil deeds he had done in his entire life; taking advantage of others, scheming on several people, betraying other people for the sake of achieving his goals, or even sacrificing his own relatives' lives to shelter away certain truths that might crush his saint-like image.

Unable to move, he lay wrapped in a thin, breathable blanket, his heart pounding in his chest. Every nerve in his body felt alive yet restrained, as if he were trapped in a cocoon of helplessness. The voices around him, shouting battle cries and curses, only added to his overwhelming sense of dread.

"Come now, my comrades! Let us put an end to evil and bring peace to our realm!" a shout reverberated, shocking Yang Lujia awake from his peaceful thoughts. "Die, you evil motherfuckers!"

"Fuck you, retards! You all sound like you're bombing shits!" Another shout from another side was heard. "Come on, now! Let us prove to them that there can only be peace in the world if we kill all of these fake righteous whatever suckers who killed our kind!"

ROAR!

Deafening roars intruded into Yang Lujia's ears, making all his hair stand on end. Even the rustling of the wind didn't fail to terrify him—the cold atmosphere and the deathly feeling of the dark clouds looming above him.

WHISH!

Thousands of fantastical creatures hovered in the air. Phoenixes with fiery plumage and majestic dragons glided through the skies, their roars echoing in a symphony of power and grandeur. What bewildered him most, however, was the sight of people astride these magnificent beings, like mythical dragon riders straight out of the movies he remembered from Earth. The sky was alive with an extraordinary dance of riders and their formidable mounts, a living fantasy beyond his wildest imaginations.

But this wasn't the point!

"Fuck!" he cursed in his mind as the ground trembled and his body, like a ball, even rolled without his permission. Although he was clothed with a slightly thick but light and breathable blanket, his heart couldn't stop pounding at all.

His instincts were screaming for survival.

Yang Lujia, despite the strong mental strength he had developed in his entire life, was shaken by the continuous bombardment of the computerized male voice inside his mind. His head exploded with plenty of questions and doubts. He then only realized a more crucial matter at the moment.

Didn't he die? Why did he feel like this was really real? Moreover, why were there other people here and some strange-looking creatures? What was he doing here? What was that voice? System? Was this all a joke?

As someone who had read several things on Earth, including Chinese cultivation stories, he perhaps knew what this meant. However, he dared not believe this was true. Perhaps this was only a kind of dream before one would be sent to the afterlife.

But to his surprise, this situation was actually real.

No matter the circumstance, he was acutely aware of the absurdity of his predicament. Attempting to pinch his face, he discovered he couldn't move. As he lay motionless, enveloped in white cloth on the ground, a moment of clarity washed over him, revealing the folly of not earlier recognizing the diminutiveness of his own form.

"What the hell is going on? When did I turn into a baby? Was this really real?" he spoke his thoughts aloud and found that his voice had undergone a large change. "I am really a baby?"

His words were incomprehensible. No one could understand him at all if he'd put himself in another person's shoes. Even when he tried to sit upright, he found himself unable to do so. What was happening to him was really peculiar. It deepened his understanding of one of the mysteries of the world: the mystery of life after death.

He swept these thoughts aside, centering his mind on the need to calm down and assess his situation. The "system" had informed him he was in a place ominously named the Eucharistic War Battleground, plopped right into the heart of a cosmic conflict. The chilling roars that reverberated around him told tales of a clash between good and evil, each cry an echo of terror that could freeze blood. The creatures' roars were enough to strike terror into the bravest of hearts. And to top it all off, he was a baby—a living, breathing infant trapped in a helpless body, unable to move. The irony was as thick as the fog of war around him: an ancient soul in the fragile vessel of infancy, stranded in the midst of this monumental battle.

In conclusion, who or what could he only rely on?

The System!

He recalled the voice's words earlier. Thanks to the prodigious memory he possessed in his former life on Earth, his mind was a vast archive of everything he had ever heard, seen, or read. It was as if his previous existence had gifted him with a photographic memory, allowing him to summon details with the ease of turning a page in a well-loved book. His brain was a treasure trove, where each memory was meticulously cataloged, ready to be retrieved and examined at a moment's notice.

"First!" he mumbled in his tiny voice. "Open the Gift Pack!"

[Congratulations! The Host receives (1) the Avatar Dragon Body, (2) the Abysmal Chaos Body, and (3) the Supreme Heavenly Scripture!]

[Avatar Dragon Body: Contains the bloodline of the strongest dragons of heaven and earth. With its tyrannical bloodline, the possessor will have strength beyond others and control the four elements: fire, water, gale, and earth.]

[Abysmal Chaos Body: The body that can freely control the five elements. It can survive in a chaotic environment, especially the void.]

[Supreme Heavenly Scripture: After delving into and grasping the entirety of the scripture, one would attain the remarkable ability to cultivate effortlessly, whether sleeping, drinking, eating, or engaging in leisurely pursuits, with no regard for cultivating diligently as other people do.]

He was overwhelmed by the series of notifications that popped in front of him. He felt that his body was burning hot and, at the same time, he felt so cold. It was like every vein in his body was constantly renewed while his mind was filled with words from scripture.

Reflecting on his earthly knowledge, he couldn't help but notice that the scripture was riddled with grammatical errors. Yet, these minor imperfections did little to diminish its profound impact. Despite the linguistic flaws, the scripture pulsed with an undeniable power, resonating deeply within him and transcending the need for flawless prose.

[Assimilating the Avatar Dragon Body and the Abysmal Chaos Body! Prevents Heaven and Earth from interfering with the Eucharistic War by causing a Heavenly Vision!]

[Congratulations to Host on completely assimilating with the Avatar Dragon and Abysmal Chaos Bodies!]

[Congratulations, Host, on mastering the entire Supreme Heavenly Scripture!]

Sensing the changes in his body, he felt rejuvenated. Although his body was small, he had never felt so comfortable in his life before. In addition, he noticed that the world around him seemed to be filled with vigor and power.

As he tried to stand up, he found that he still couldn't do so. Perhaps, he was still really a baby, an infant at this moment. However, he was worried sick that he would be killed in this place. His cautious mind rolled frantically as he thought of ways to escape from this place.

[Discovered location with abundant Qi of Heaven and Earth: Eternal Desolation! Would you like to sign in, Host?]

Hearing the system's prompt once more, he didn't hesitate anymore. Whatever was ahead of him, he couldn't let this kind of opportunity pass!

"Sign in!" he vigorously said.

[Successful Sign-In! Host receives 100 Years' Worth of Cultivation!]

As soon as his body exploded in power, a gentle hand shoved into his back and carried him up. An old man's voice then sounded: "What a poor child. Your parents shouldn't have left you in this war."

Hello, you might be new here. I am thefirespeaks, the very author of this novel. I am here to clarify the matter about the difference between the Eucharistic War Battleground and Eternal Desolation. Both of them are actually the same, only the names aren't. Eternal Desolation is the original name of the place where the war took place, to which it became the Battleground for the Eucharistic War (the so-called righteous versus the so-called ruthless/merciless).

Also, you all have to know that this is a master-disciple type of cultivation novel. The main character's job was to help his disciples become stronger while he also become stronger (although he was already very strong).

It would even be better if you give me gifts to motivate me to write more chapters. Thanks. =)
