Volume 3 - Chapter 15(Gifnora Forest)

Sheng Ming: Those children are barely 6 to 8 years old.

Ais: To think they will go this far.

Primis: With time you will see how rotten the Empire is. To them Humans are disposables.

Primis gaze then fell on the two girls in that group of children. One of them was a pretty girl with long black hair that reached down her knees and had red eyes. While the other had short black hair in a twin tail style and black eyes. Looking at the two anyone can tell that they were sisters.

'Primis: Akame. Kurome.'

Exactly. The one with long hair and red eyes was Akame while the one with short hair and black eyes was Kurome.

Currently, Akame and Kurome were hugging each other. Kurome was shivering while Akame was showing full resolution of protecting her little sister. Primis was looking at them attentively. Not their face but their fate lines. Some of these fate lines were appearing and disappearing again and again. It was a clear indicator that someone was trying to interfere or alter them.

An hour later.

At this time, one of the soldiers shouted.

Soldier 1: Alright, you brats. Hurry and enter the forest.

All children became afraid hearing the soldier shout.

Soldier 2: This is a test. If you successfully passed the forest and reach the other side then you pass. That time not only you will have a place to live but you will also have food to eat. Now raise those lazy asses of yours and enter.

Soldier 3: One more thing, if you think of returning to this side….....

Saying till her the soldier stopped and pointed his sword at the children. All of them shivered witnessing this.

Soldier 3: Then we will personally kill you. Now, move.

Children became afraid when all other soldiers also drew out their weapons and glared at them. So, all children hurriedly turned and charged into the forest. Akame and Kurome also ran into while holding hands. Once all the children were inside the forest, one of the soldiers outside launched a signal flare in the sky.

Seeing the signal flare, Bill who was on the other side of forest took out a trigger of some sort and click it after five minutes.

CLICK!!!!

Next, a loud explosion resounded inside the Gifnora Forest startling both the children and Danger beasts who were resting inside. That huge explosion attracted the attention of these Danger Beasts.

And since these children didn't trust each other, they separated and ran in different different direction. They were clearly frightened not only because of their current situation but also because they heard the growling sound of danger beasts approaching their location.

SWOOSH!!!!!

Suddenly, something attacked one of the children and bite at his head.

SPLURT!!!!!!

Blood gushed out like stream as the head of the kid was in beast's mouth. The kid still wasn't dead yet as he was moving his hands trying to survive. But too bad the beast didn't give any chance. It raised its head high in the sky and opened his big mouth to swallow the whole kid.

Once it was done having its snack, it raised its body, and its full appearance could be seen. It was a huge snake about 9-10 meters long. It moved its head to other kids who witnessed everything before opening its huge mouth again. Seeing its fangs, the children froze on the spot because of fear. Then the snake rushed at its next food.

Another place in forest.

Children were running away with pale face as a giant centipede was eating them one-by-one. No matter how much or how far they ran, that centipede always found them and devoured them. Some brave one tried to fight back by using the weapons provided to them by the soldiers. However, the moment these weapons touched the centipede scale they broke.

Even the vegetable cutting knives were sharper than the weapons provided to them. And hence, their despair continued.

Same spectator was happening everywhere in the forest.

GROWL!!!!!

Kurome: Big sister, they are following us.

Akame: I know, Kurome. Don't worry I will keep you safe.

Akame and Kurome were running fast as some danger beasts were following them. But since they passed by other children on the way, these beasts made them as their food. Still, there were just too many of them in this forest.

At this moment, they took a turn and stopped. Their eyes opened wide in horror as they saw in front. There were man-eating plants who were eating the children. Akame snapped out of her thoughts while Kurome was still frozen in fear.

Akame: We can't go this way. We must find another way.

Kurome: T-They are b-being e-e-eaten...…

Akame: KUROME!!!!!

Akame shouted to snapped Kurome out of her fear and grabbed her wrist. Kurome turned to Akame who looked at her with determination.

Akame: It's alright. Your Big Sister is with you.

Seeing such expression, Kurome eyes also filled with determination.

Kurome: ...Mn.

They both started to find another way. As they were trying to find another way, a dog like danger beast jumped out the bushes and lurched at Kurome.

SWOOSH!!!!!!!

Kurome: WAAH!!!!!!!!

Akame: KUROME!!!!!!!!

Without a second thought, Akame drew out the knife and thrusted it at the beast.

THRUST!!!!

Danger Beast: AWO!!!!!

That Danger Beast let out a miserable cry before dying. But at this exact moment, another Danger Beast who looked exactly like the one Akame killed, jumped at her from another bush behind.

Akame: !!!!!!!!!!

Akame was too late to realize that. Just as she saw the jaws of the beast reaching her...…

Kurome: DON'T TOUCH MY SISTER!!!!!

Kurome jumped at it with her knife.

Danger Beast: GYAH!!!!!!!

The beast let out a final cry before dying.

Akame: Kurome, are you alright?

Akame smiled before responding. Next, she grabbed Kurome hand again and continued.

'Primis: Hmm......That's unexpected. Everything is going the same as the plot. There's no change so far. I thought those invaders will try to intervene.'

Primis said before raising one of his brows. Then he chuckled.

'Primis: So, this time one of the invaders are Pokémon trainers.'

Primis: I know. Looks like some unexpected guests are here.

Both Sheng Ming and Ais face had turned solemn by now.

Primis: The one at 4'o clock is yours Ais while the one at 10'o clock is yours Sheng Ming.

Sheng Ming & Ais: Yes.

Both said before leaving for their targets.

'Primis: Now then.'

Primis: Ophis.

Ophis: Hm?

Primis: I have something for you too.

Ophis: What is it?

Primis: The moment you find the right time, extract the information from these invaders mind. When I tried to read their information, something prevents me. Their brain was being protected by some sort of power.

Ophis: That's the Divine power.

Primis: I guessed that much. However, I am having a feeling that this Divine power is a whole different order compared to the one which I saw in Ishtar. If I am not wrong, its 'that' God power. Because of that even if I will use my Sharingan to read their memories, it will be useless.

Ophis: Then instead of waiting, I can do it right away.

Primis: No. First, I don't want a single trace of your power to be left behind. Second, I want you to extract the information without letting that power realizing it.

Ophis: ......…Ok. It's not difficult but it will take time.

Once Primis was done speaking, space ripped behind him and the same abyssal dark vortex appeared behind him. He then turned and entered it. Once he was inside the vortex disappeared.

At the location of 4'o clock, there was a movement in the sky. A flying beast akin to a danger beast was approaching Gifnora Forest at fast speed.

The beast resembled that of an ostrich which was cladded in steal armor. It had long, sharp-taloned legs and its head looked like it was wearing a steel helmet which was covering its beak. It also had red feathers.

You can see someone sitting on it. He was holding the beast tightly. At his belt there was three small balls. The upper side of the ball was red in color while lower was white with a button in the middle of two colors.

As they were reaching Gifnora Forest, a gust of wind hit the beast.

WAIL!!!!

BANG!!!!

???: SKAAAAAAA

The beast let out a scream as it fell. The person on top of it held the beast tightly to prevent himself from falling off.

Pokémon Trainer: Skarmory, control yourself.

The Pokémon named Skarmory hurriedly used its wings to stable itself before they could touch the ground. After some attempts, it succeeded just when it was about the hit the land. The trainer on top of it took a sigh of relief. However, Skarmory keenly looked in front. It's this action also attracted its trainer.

Pokémon Trainer: What is it, Skamory?

But then he heard the sound in front.

Step-by-Step Ais came and walked in front of them. The person fell in trance witnessing Ais's beauty while she raised one of her brows seeing the pokémon for the first time. Though, she then threw that thought at back of her head. One because it was not the time for it. And the second was because she was not that unfamiliar with beast tamers.

Back at Orario, members of one of the largest Familia "Ganesha Familia" had many skilled tamers. These tamers participated in the Monster Feria every year to show how well they can control their monsters. Hence, it was not that rare.

Ais continued walking towards them.

Skamory released a cry to wake its trainer from the daze. It worked as the trainer hurriedly shook his head and came back. He then looked warily at Ais.

Pokémon Trainer: Who are you? Why are you trying to stop us?

Ais: Sword Princess.

That's all Ais said before grabbing the handle of her azure "Lambent-Light" and drawing it out.

SHIN!!!!

Skamory and its trainer tensed up before they could tell that Ais was extremely dangerous. They could sense life threating danger from her. But still they gathered their courage to face her. Ais at this time, pointed her azure "Lambent-Light" at them before speaking.

Ais: Any last words.
