Chapter – 42 (Dungeon (Part 3))

In the end, Primis got bored of War Shadow relentless attacks. So, after blocking another one of its attacks, Primis swung Elucidator and cut it into two. War Shadow can't believe it. It didn't even see when Primis swung his sword. After that its two halves dispersed and left a magic stone behind.

TING!!!

'Primis: War Shadow, an assassin from the shadows. No wonder it's called newbies killer.'

[Newbies don't put much guard in Upper Floors. After all, you can go solo till 9th floor. Hence, it leads them to their death.]

'Primis: Yes. Though, War Shadow body is even weaker than Kobold, it prefers to ambush other from Shadows with its high speed.'

[Kill in one attack. Just like an assassin.]

Nodding Primis continued walking again. In the way he was ambushed by War Shadows again. But Primis just swung his Elucidator and killed them the moment they left their shadow.

'Primis: How long it's been since I enter?'

[Since you are taking your time to look around, it's already been five-hours by now.]

'Primis: Five-hours. Huh.'

Soon Primis reached the end of the 6th Floor and found the stairs leading down to 7th Floor. Once he walked down to 7th Floor, he stopped while looking in front.

'Primis: A Monsters party.'

In front of Primis was a party of monsters. It consisted of 17 Needle Rabbits, 8 Purple Moth and 3 Blue Papilio.

Needle Rabbits were rabbit monsters that had horn on their head.

Purple Moths were moth monsters that could spread poisonous powder. The powder could cause poison if someone was covered by it or inhale it multiple times.

Blue Papilio were butterfly monsters that had four blues see through wings. They were rare monster. In exchange for being unable to fight, the powder secreted from their wings had the ability to heal other monsters. In other words, a monster healer.

Primis looked around and found no one else except some corpses of Adventurers near them. He could tell that these Adventurers died just recently by these monsters. Some of them had purple skin because of poison, some had holes in their bodies. Poison because of Purple Moths and Holes because of needle rabbits.

'Primis: Looks like these monsters are working together or...'

[These Adventurers killed too many monsters in this floor that Dungeon used its defense Mechanism, The Monster Party.]

'Primis: That's true. At least they are lucky to even have their corpse intact. If there was Juggernaut instead of Monster Party, then...'

[Even their corpse would have become its food.]

Primis nodded and started to walk towards the monster party. As Primis reached near them, all Purple Moths released poison power together and made the poison mist. The Mist was so thick that no one could see anything in it.

But Primis didn't stop and kept on walking forward. Soon he entered the mist without a second thought. As he was walking forward in mist.

WHOOSH!!!!

WHIZZ!!!!

Sounds of rapid movement was heard from all around. The needle rabbits were moving from one place to another making the sound everywhere so that Primis couldn't detect their exact location.

'Primis: No wonder those Adventurers die. These monsters are different than others and know how to use tactics.'

[Right. All Monster Party is like that. After all, there work is to kill all Adventurers in the floor. If they are not controlled properly, they will start fighting among themselves. But it's still a shock that these needle rabbits are not affected by the poison.]

'Primis: It's not that much of a surprise. Because they have Blue Papilio with them.'

[Oh. That's true. Before they could get injured by the poison powder Blue Papilio powders secreted from their wings is healing them. Dungeon really sent a balanced team to kill Adventurers.]

'Primis: Yes. Because of poison mist no one will approach them if they don't have poison resistant potion with them.'

[Even if they have poison resistant potion, they still need to enter this mist to kill them.]

'Primis: Because of heavy mist they can't see properly and will start to swing their weapons blindly because of needle rabbit that are running around in circle to hide their original positions.'

[Even if they get the lucky and hit some because their blind attack, it won't kill them but just injure them.]

'Primis: Then Blue Papilio power will heal them again. It's an infinite loop here.'

[Yes. Either the poison resistant potion will wear off without Adventurers even realizing, because they will be too focused on finding monsters or….]

'Primis: They will wear themselves out and fatigue will get to them. Needle rabbit will use that moment to attack them hence killing them.'

[Right]

'Primis: Here's only a Level 3 or higher-level Adventurer can survive.'

[Or a perfect balanced Level 2 party.]

'Primis: Agreed.'

Primis smiled and raises his Elucidator. Then he swipes it with some force. The force of the air generated from it blew all the poison mist away. Needle rabbits who were running in the mist stopped suddenly. They looked around in confusion. They didn't understand how mist dispersed just like this.

FLASH!!!

Still, before they could move a flash appear and all needle rabbits were split into halves. After that Primis turned his gaze at the Purple Moths. Purple Moths started to release their poison powder like crazy, but Primis just swung his Elucidator again.

FLASH!!!

Another Flash and all Purple Moths were killed too. He then turned at the remaining two Blue Paplio. Looking at them Primis narrowed his eyes.

'Primis: Twilight, can I keep these two butterflies in my Home? Since they can heal, they can help me a lot in future. And if they give birth to more than they will be great lifesaving assets.'

[Not possible, Primis. They won't be able to handle Origin force. They will die the moment they will enter your Home World.]

Hearing Twilight reply, Primis sighed in disappointment before raising his Elucidator again.

'Primis: Too Bad.'
