Chapter 1 Waking Up

A young man found himself drowning in the sea as he fell from his ship.

He went to the sea, joining a week-long fishing expedition to earn a living.

The young man is an orphan named Kenny. He finished high school but can't continue to study further due to financial reasons. So after high school, he does odd jobs to provide for himself. His only entertainment is reading manga from his phone, and his favorite is One Piece.

Maybe that's why Kenny wanted to join the fishing expedition; he wanted to feel the same rush of adventure as a character in the manga.

But all of that didn't happen, as soon after they started sailing, a hurricane appeared, and Kenny fell to the sea due to the wave.

Kenny thought that he had died, but to his surprise, he woke up in a dark room with his hand shackles and a chain around his neck.

"Where am I?" Kenny said as he woke up with a headache.

"So you finally wake up, boyo, they did ruff you up quite a bit back on Goa, and here I thought you might stay in a coma until we arrive in Marijoa." An old man said, replying to Kenny.

Hearing the old man, Kenny can only focus on the words Goa and Marijoa; to his knowledge, there is no town or island name like that near his hometown. But he does know that name.

The Goa Kingdom is where Sabo originated from, and Marijoa is the home of the Celestial Dragon.

As an avid reader of One Piece, this knowledge is easy for Kenny to remember.

Kenny tries to assess his situation by looking around; there were many people in the room, and just like him, those people also wear shackles in their hands and chain on their necks.

He also notices that his body is not his original 25 years old body, but a young 12 years old kid. He has long white hair; unlike the other slave, Kenny doesn't have many scars as the existing scar on his body is healing. But there is also a tattoo on the middle of Kenny's chest, a tattoo of a dragon hoof, or a celestial dragon slave mark.

Kenny then sees the old man in front of him, he is old, wearing baggy clothes, but Kenny feels something different about him.

While Kenny is in the process of thinking, the old man again speaks to him.

"You should change back; if the guard sees you like this, they might report back to those people. And beat you up like usual."

The old man's words confuse Kenny, But before he can ask, a guard appears, opening the door to the room.

"What with the ruckus!" a guard came shouting as he entered the room.

The guard sees Kenny and points at him. "Hey you, what are you doing? Saint Jalmack had ordered you to always stay in your form, boy; you have no right to change back," the guard said.

Before Kenny can speak, the guard then hits Kenny's head with his baton.

The hit on Kenny's head triggered something as Kenny remembered all of his memories.

[Flashback]

Kenny was born in the town call Baterilla in South Blue; he has a fisherman dad and a tailor mom. He has lived happily for almost two years, but all of a sudden, the town was plunged into chaos as many Marine came led by a vice admiral.

The Marine came because there was a report that Gold Roger's wife lived in this town and carrying his baby. So the Marine, with a mission to end the King of Pirate bloodline, came searching the town.

But with limited intel, the Marine Vice-Admiral ordered to take all pregnant women in town.

The Marine then takes all the town, pregnant women, including Kenny's mom.

When the Marine tried to take Kenny's mom, his dad tried to argue and fight back to get his wife, but all he got was a bullet in his chest.

Kenny tried his best to be close to his mother, but the Marine officer took him away.

Kenny then saw his mother gather in the town center with other pregnant women.

The environment suddenly got hotter as Kenny saw a man wearing a Marine uniform with a hat coming to the town center.

The man's arm suddenly turns red as he spews magma from it killing all the women in the town center.

Kenny was shocked to see his mother burned to death, leaving nothing but magma behind. He saw the man that did it before he passed out.
