The Restaurant Baratie and The Warlord

As the crew headed for the restaurant Baratie, Usopp was at his workstation inside the ship. He had started to work on Nami's weapon, the climatact. He wanted into to be something that is way more practical than the party trick material that was used in Arabasta. He had added mechanisms to control the wind and attack with lightning. He also wanted it to have some hidden weapon mechanisms like a poison spray which could be used alongside the wind technique. He made the item but did not think of giving it to her before they took out Arlong.

When he came up to the deck, he saw a Marine ship moving beside them. He had completely forgotten bout the guy who was going to get his arse kicked by Sanji.

"You guys are pirates? Never seen this flag before. Who's the captain of the ship? Come forward and name yourself!"

The Marine, lieutenant Fullbody ordered. Luffy immediately stepped forward.

"I am the captain, Monkey D. Luffy!"

'This idiot is straight up answering the questions asked by a marine?!'

Is what Usopp thought in his mind. Then he also went forward, full of spirit.

"I am Usopp! The one who drew the Flag!"

Fullbody looked at the Straw Hats as if they were mad. He then turned to the sailors and told them to sink the ship.

*BOOM*

When the shot was fired, Luffy jumped up and caught the cannon ball, but his hand slipped and the direction of the shot faced towards Baratie. But before the ball was released, Usopp appeared before him and caught it before it caused any damage.

"Luffy...at least try to do something like defending the ship properly, okay? If the restaurant had been hit, then forget about looking for a new crew, we won't even be able to eat there, get it?"

Usopp said like he was trying to explain something to a kid. He did not want Luffy to do stupid stuff so much that it endangered the lives of other people.

"We won't get any food?! That would be bad. It was good that you stopped it."

Luffy immediately came around when he thought that his food would be taken away. Though Usopp wanted him to reflect on his actions, he gave up. He finally understood that it was impossible to make Luffy understand any matter unless his instinct made him do it or it was something he had to do for the sake of someone close to him. Even then it was barely understanding the matter, unless it is a fighting technique.

Usopp then turned around and took out his catapult.

'This is the first time i am going to use you as a pirate, partner.'

He then placed a normal bullet on it and shot it at the ship.

"[Hammer style: Ship Breaker]"

Usopp's blunt series attack method was not even at a tenth of his strength, but it destroyed half of the Marine ship in one hit. Johnny and Yosaku were terrified when they saw the attack, as they never thought there would be someone so strong on the ship. No one noticed that one person escaped from the Marine ship and was headed for the restaurant.

When the strawhats entered the restaurant, they saw a person holding up the Marine officer from before, who was bleeding. They ignored the action and went straight to a free table. Another cook then came out and started an argument with the first one, when the Head chef came out too.

"Sanji! What are you doing to our restaurant?! Are you trying to destroy it?!"

"Customers are like gods, Sanji! How dare you attack them!"

The head chef, whose hat was a bit too long for comfort, and the other chef, who looked like he had a part time job of selling fish reprimanded Sanji back to back.

"Exactly! How dare a lowly chef from a backwater restaurant attack a Marine Officer?!"

"Shut up, you little brat!"

Fullbody's complaint was met with a wooden leg to the face. He almost flew out of the restaurant and dropped to the floor near the door.

'These guys don't act like they are chefs! This kind of behavior...it's like...like they are a pirate crew!'

Fullbody wanted to run away from this scary place when a marine came running in.

"Lieutenant! The pirate who we captured yesterday...the member of Don Kreig's fleet has escaped! "

*bang*

As soon as the Marine finished his report, he was shot from behind, and a man who looked like he was going to fall any second came in and took a seat. The chef who argued with Sanji, who was called Patty went to take his order. The rest of the customers were extremely scared of the man and a majority of the people started running away.

"Do you have any money, you dumb squid?"

Asked Patty, whose tone was polite enough that you wouldn't notice any sarcasm until he used a swear word.

"Will you take a lead ball?"

Threatened the newcomer, pointing the gun at Patty. As a reply, Patty bashed him to the ground.

"Oi Patty, don't destroy the furniture!"

Said the head chef, as he turned to the kitchen.

'That is your problem?!'

Usopp was confused about the whole matter, where clashing ideals were thrown around, and ended with a comical dialogue which almost made him reply with a tsukkomi. Luffy also disappeared somewhere at that time.

...

After a while, the rest of the customers saw a large shadow approach the Baratie. When someone realized what it was, all of the customers escaped in panic.

"That's Don Kreig's ship! We will all die if we stay here!"

Some random guy yelled out while running, which made the rest of them run even faster. Their ships vanished as if they teleported because of their fear.

Don Kreig then entered with the guy who entered earlier, and begged for food. After he ate, he then used the morals of Sanji and Zeff to get enough food for his crew.

" You are the Pirate Red-Legged Zeff right? I will come back soon to take your restaurant and your journals. This will be a perfect cover for me to take down marine ships."

Kreig took the food and walked away, laughing creepily. A shadow loomed over the Baratie, waiting for the battle.

Usopp wanted to go back to the ship and rest because of the ridiculous existence that had entered his range. Nami and the bounty hunter duo were already on the ship, and were given the duty of protecting it.

"I'll be damned. There is something approaching which i can't even survive against. We should retreat from here so that we won't be caught in that person's eyes."

Usopp said. But he had forgotten the kind of guys who he was with, though.

"Really strong?! Awesome! I want to see that person!"

"Yeah. Someone who even Usopp can't survive against would be a person who stands at the top of the seas. I need to see the strength of the top."

Luffy and Zoro were muscle-brained as ever. Death didn't faze them a bit as these idiots had long since left it to destiny and went at anything and everything without any care in the world. That was when they saw movement on Kreig's ship.

"Here he comes!"

Usopp's words were extremely serious sounding. Luffy and Zoro understood that the really strong person they were looking out for had arrived. The cooks thought the Kreig pirates were about to attack, when the entire ship was cut in two.

"Admiral! That man...the man who destroyed our ship is here! "

" That's him! The hawk eyed man! He followed us all the way here to destroy us, Admiral!"

Don Kreig's men were scared out of their wits when they saw that person's appearance. He appeared on a boat shaped like a coffin which had candles burning with a eerie green light. Zoro tensed up when he saw the man and those eyes, which looked like it would destroy one's spirit if they peered into it for a while.

"That's the Hawk eyed man, one of the seven warlords of the sea and the one who holds the title of the strongest swordsman in the world!"

Said Usopp, who was standing there trying to hide his spirit from this tremendous existence who stood at the top of the world along with a numbered few.
