Magellan stared. "Two Luo Ning? There was no way. This had to be some kind of Devil Fruit power."
The figure was actually a copy Luo Ning created using his Visionary ability. Unlike someone like Gremmy, he couldn't create multiple copies at once. This was his limit.
He'd equipped the copy with his strange power and the steel body he'd intended for himself, sending it to face the enemy. While he wasn't scared of Magellan or Shiryu, he'd played it safe. Turns out, maybe a little too safe.
These two weren't a match for them anymore.
Luo Ning pulled back the copy. It could maintain his strength, but the idea of both of them having the powers of a steel man and strange abilities at the same time was just too much. Better to keep his powers focused in one body.
The copy vanished, and the Thunderstorm Sword returned to his grasp. A quick look later, and Luo Ning tossed it aside. He didn't use sword, and this one was way too long – even for him at 1.9 meters. This thing was practically Shiryu's height! How tall is that guy, anyway? Seriously, these people in One Piece are all freaks.
Shiryu exploded in anger. "You bastard!" He was a swordsman, and like many, particularly fond of his blades. This throw-away treatment of his favorite sword was infuriating.
"Poison Dragon!"
Magellan struck suddenly. Several shadowy purple dragons formed from poisonous liquid lunged at Luo Ning.
"Fall back! Don't get in the warden's range!" Sadi-Chan shouted, and the others retreated hastily. Magellan's poison didn't discriminate - a touch, even with an antidote, meant a world of pain.
"Sneak attack? You stoop to that, Magellan?" Luo Ning dodged a poisonous dragon.
"Scum get no quarter. I just need you captured!" Magellan retorted, unleashing another wave of poison dragons.
"Honestly, you're a bigger threat than Shiryu," Luo Ning admitted, shaking his head. Magellan might be stronger, but his real problem was the poison. In a straight-up fight, Shiryu was the tougher opponent.
Luo Ning ignored the poison, imagining himself immune.
He punched the poison dragon. It didn't explode, and he felt fine. He'd dodged attacks with his imagined super speed. The strange powers - super speed, poison immunity, steel body - made him incredibly strong.
"He ignored Magellan's poison!" Shiryu said, discouraged.
Magellan's poison was everyone's nightmare, but now someone could beat him. Shiryu didn't dare join the fight. Magellan's poison hurt everyone, so he usually fought alone. No one could team up with him.
"Impossible! Even I can't handle my poison. How can you ignore it!" Magellan shouted. He, a Devil Fruit user, couldn't resist his own poison. He got diarrhea for ten hours every day, but now someone ignored it.
Without his poison, he was a toothless tiger, a swordsman without a weapon.
"Poison Giant Soldier Judgment of Hell!"
A huge amount of poison poured out of Magellan, forming a giant poison skeleton.
"Just a show-off. Shiryu's attacks are strong, but they can't break my defense. Why would your poison giant be any different?"
Luo Ning shook his head. This thing might look scary, but it's all bark and no bite.
Magellan's attacks all relied on poison, not much strength on their own.
So this giant was useless against Luo Ning, just a paper tiger.
Magellan's face turned purple. He couldn't believe someone could resist his poison. The Poison Giant was his strongest attack.
If it didn't work, then he was done for.
The giant fist of the Poison Giant slammed at Luo Ning.
BOOM!
Luo Ning dodged by jumping onto the giant's arm. He landed in front of the skeleton and punched it, shattering it with one blow.
